All around great and funny
First and foremost Modest is straight HELL ya hear me. That man didn’t have one bit of since from the get go. My heart broke from all the trauma that Modest,Meek and Melea endured it was hard finding the light through the darkness. Christmas was made for miracles and this one was the best one yet for the entire clan and I’m happy about that. Latoya always bring us so much laughter and drama all mixed in one. You can never get enough.

Whew... Latoya Nicole knows how to bring the ghetto and I love it. Modest, Malae and Meek all get valuable Christmas lessons and not in a traditional way. As always, the comedy in this book is unmatched. We also get a surprise visit from a Hoover Gang member that absolutely brightened my day!

modest and meek was wilddddd…..
I just want to start by saying Latoya has me laughing so hard about Vikki and her heels. Modest and Meek was wilddddddd and I was here for it. Modest was mean with a soft heart for the FMC son. This book was such a great recommendation for our bookclub because the discussion was great. I read other books by Latoya and she is one of the authors that makes reading fun. I will be reading other books by her because I want to know Blaze story.

I love it from the beginning to the end I'm glad they killed vik and her side kick ugh could not like her and her son ty and his mother so glad she got happens with modest and meek I'm glad he found some one to make him happy

Never disappointed
This book was so good it had the perfect amount of everything!!!! As someone that hates Christmas I put off reading this book but just because you wrote it I had to give it a chance . You know you're an amazing author when you can get your readers out of their funk over the upcoming holidays and your brought in Blaze crazy behind. Thank you you don't even know what you did for me. Would love to hear more from these characters❤❤ this is a #1 for sure.

I don’t know why I’m still reading Christmas books. Maybe because I missed Christmas this year being sick but I still want to feel the Christmas spirit around. Unfortunately this book gave Christmas vibes but was so traumatic. Everybody was going through it. I liked the vibe between Modest and Malae, and her son. I don’t know if I could still be with a man like Modest who caused her so much pain though.

I enjoyed this story so much. This story follows brothers Meek and Modest who are trying to go on with life after their parents are murdered on Christmas Eve 9 years prior. Meek is coping better than Modest, but he has guilt from the night of his parents' death. His wife Vikki is upset because Meek wants to get out of the game and go legit. Vicki was trash and got everything she deserved. How are you gonna be mad at your man for wanting to go legit? She definitely left the door wide open for Akina to come in and be the woman Meek needed.
Modest was mean and reckless at the mouth because he hated Christmas. He meets Malae and goes off on her because her son is begging for money. Unbeknownst to him, she works for him and his brother at their realty company. He stayed telling that girl off, but he was really feeling her. Malae was struggling due to her baby's father being unalived a year earlier. She needed help but wouldn't say anything. Luckily, Modest mean self figured it out and stepped in to help. Reading Modest and Malae for each other was so sweet. His relationship with her son was beautiful.
Of course, when it seemed as if everything was going to work out for everyone, stuff started hitting the fan. It was so much betrayal in this book from the people the brothers were closest to. When everything came out, I was a little shocked. Everything ended up working out, and everyone got the HEA. Another good Christmas story by Latoya Nicole.

Another banger!
As usual this author has written another banger. She never disappoints. This is a great Christmas story and had me all in my feelings. I'm so glad that Vikki and Lando got what they deserved. i think that I would have tortured them a little more though. LOL. I'm so glad that Meek and Modest finally found some happiness in their lives after the tragedy that happened to their parents. Akina and Malae came on the scene at just the right time, and little Ty was just too cute.

All I got to say is what another great story. Latoya the growth is real Luv u doing it with so much luv coming from your pen it’s beautiful. Happy for the brothers finding luv and enjoy there Christmas for the first time since the death of their parents. But did u have to give us this sample of Blaze wild crazy behind, I always lost it Spark just like her daddy lol baby girl just Blaze his beard. Can’t wait for it to drop. Congratulations Latoya I fan for life

I should’ve known the male characters would be crazy as hell. Modest name did not match his personality at all. I was dying laughing from beginning to end especially when they was talking about Vikki’s heels & bun lol. I’m glad that Ty & Malae were able to get Modest back into the Christmas spirit. Blaze is everybody’s cousin lol. Im salty at that sneak peek at the end. Now I’m anxious to see if they’ll be a story about why Shadow been messing but I don’t think that’s coming. As always an amazing read. I loved this Christmas story.

Another banger from this author. I absolutely love Modest!! Malae was perfect for him and made him a better person. It was nice to see a softer side to a savage. Meek was a great man, and deserved to be truly happy. I’m glad he found that. This book was a page turner. The added bonus at the end was unexpected, but very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this book, especially if you are a fan of this author’s past work. Awesome job!!

LaToya I must say you have outdone yourself as usual. This book had me crying and laughing at the same time. It started off with a bang as usual. Modest and Meek something else but Modest is bae. I knew Vikki and Lando was snakes for the beginning. I love Melae and Akina they were perfect for both of them. I hollered when Blaze came back. I just love the ending and love how you brought the Hoover Gang Christmas into....A must Read

Meek and Modest
This book will grab your attention from beginning to the very end. Modest was something else with his hate towards Christmas and Malae her love for Christmas and to see her son happy was going to be epic to see them get together. Vikki was just a snake in church lady clothes. Meek was a sweetheart who deserved true love. Anika just made my heart stop with her story. Read this book you will love it

Yassss.. this author will never disappoint you. This book had me crying and Laughing. Modest was definitely still mourning the death of his parents. Malae was also mourning the death of her son's father. She was struggling but doing all she could to take care of her son. Malae and Ty broke Modest down. All he had was his brother Meek. Who was also dealing with his parents death and blaming himself. I recommend reading you won't want to put it down.

This was a awesome Christmas read. Ole mean Modest is BAE, he did a lot to help Malae out it was love at first sight. I felt so sorry for Malae because she was trying to make it. I'm glad Modest stepped in. She helped him see the goodness in Christmas again. Meek is BAE too, he is so caring a d Akina was good for him, love at first sight. I'm glad Vikki and Lando got what he deserved.

LaToya Nicole has done it again. She is my new favorite and I read all her books. I love the bond between Meek and Modest!!! No matter what comes their way they are sticking together and taking care of one another. Malae cried the entire book but who could blame her. Meek and Modest was rude until you got to know them but I noticed Meek was never rude to Akina. They each helped each other in ways No one else was able to and that is definitely goals!!!

Great book
This was a quick but go read. It didn’t take too much time to put the pieces together and see what was going on. Modest and Meek, 2 brothers who only have each other due to a tragedy that occurred. For the book to be a short read, there was deceit, lies, and comedy as well. That is something that you can expect from a book by Latoya Nicole. She did a great job with this one.

Ok ok ok. This was a very different take on the Christmas stories we normally get. But it was definitely a page turner. It took me 2 days to really get into it ( not because of the book because life be lifein) but when I was able to make some time for me chile I read this book in one sitting. It gave us the urban hood fiction that we love sprinkled with some Christmas magic. I loved this read. On to find the next one this author.

Uhmmm. This was either rushed or not fleshed out well. How did Malae forgive so quickly and easily? Modest was supposed to be this ruthless guy but was mean one day and then nice the next. But wasn't giving ruthless, more like if needed more context and more character development. That was kinda true for all of the characters, poor character development. The storyline was there but the execution fell short.

Just like any other book I read by you I was not disappointed. I laughed and cried. I am team Meek and Modest, I just can’t chose one. And the way Malae and Anika came in loved those men was everything. Vicki is a terrible example of a woman and a wife. And honey to through Blaze in there took the cake. Loved every bit of this story.

This Christmas book was so good!!! Loved the storyline!!! I didn't want to PUT it DOWN!## I loved that both Modest and Meek found TRUE LOVE in the weirdest way!# So glad they stick with their hearts!!!# Such a GREAT book Loved that Blaze made an appearance!!! Gotta love the Hoover Gang!!!

I loved this book other was so good. Modest & Meek is bae. I love how Modest found his happiness. Im glad Vikki and Lando got what they deserved. Fire as always
Latoya never disappoints when she writes. Meek was cool but Modest he was everything. I hate when there are snakes like Vikki but boy oh boy did Modest have a surprise for her! I’ve never read an urban fiction Christmas them book. This one surpasses all of my expectations and I loved the sneak peak at the end! Bring it!

Modest and meek had me deading on the usher shoes🤣🤣🤣Im glad modest was able to move on....Happy meek found real love in akina...modest and malase came as one n help each other!!!
