Operation ex-stepsister seduction
I know how it sounds.
And no, I'm not backing off.

There was a time when we were more best friends than siblings,
Until the great fall-out between our parents.

I always wondered how she was doing.
But I never looked her up.
I was too busy making billions.

So, imagine my absolute shock,
When she comes blazing right into my board meeting,
Legs a mile long, curves by the millions,
And absolutely ready to take me down a couple of pegs.

But wait. Because what the freaking hell happened to the nerdy kid I remember?
Since when did she have a need for a D-Cup, for god's sake?!
And why am I ready to fire all my executives for also staring at said cup area?

I know I should probably be way more concerned about why she is looking at me like I am the devil incarnate.
But this devil is busy formulating other plans.
Plans which include his ex-stepsister.
Because this devil wants her.
And what the devil wants, the devil always gets.

“It’s definitely physical, but it’s sure the hell more than that too. It feels like something connected to the heart. It feels a little bit like being soulmates, that connection.”

It wasn’t worth my time reading this book. I didn’t hate it but I just didn’t care about either of the characters very much. I didn’t find either of them particularly likeable. Feel free to skep this one in the series.

If anything to my knowledge the devil was Zoe, Raiden was such a sweetheart and certainly deserve better. Ergo I didn't care that much about them as a couple.

The Many Forms of Love

One of the attributes that distinguishes humans from animals is our ability to love in a variety of forms. We can love our friends. We can love our family—our parents and siblings. And then, there is that most special form of love shared—romantic love—that often culminates in a sexual encounter. Raiden Vanstone and Zoe Anderson, step-siblings and friends during their formative childhood and early adolescent years, never questioned that they loved each other. But at 12 and 14, they had not fully explored the nature of their love and if it might morph into romantic.

The young companions were separated when their parents’ years of on-going arguments finally culminated in divorce. But, before the merged family split into two separate families, the two friends/step-siblings professed their deep devotion to each other by tattooing Raiden’s hip and Zoe’s thigh with the other’s initial to seal their commitment.

Now, 16 years later, fate—and a hostile company takeover—has brought the not-quite-friends/siblings back together when Raiden’s tech genius and his tech empire consumes the company for which Zoe works. And the question both seek to understand is whether their undefined childhood/adolescent love still exists and in what format. And for Zoe, the money and power held by her once upon a time best-friend has caused her years of stress as friends and acquaintances have tried to use her to gain access to her former step-sibling. So, while the two are drawn together, they are also repelled like opposing magnets as they try to discover who they are to each other as adults. And when Zoe begins to see the intervention of fate in a series of events preventing their attempts to come together, a relationship seems impossible—nature is sending messages!

Lindsay Hart once more exams and crushes some of society’s misconceptions of how a woman and men should act, look and love and respond to each other in a work setting. Hart lets the readers fully appreciate the challenges faced by both men women seeking honesty and truthfulness in relationships, and desiring to be true to themselves. She offers the perfect comeback to the false patterns which society, and one’s on expectations, impose on the individual.

There is nothing unusual about a smaller company being purchased and merging with a larger, more profitable company, it happens all the time. What is unusual is the two people in the mix of this merger, Raiden and Zoe. No strangers to one another, in fact they have a history together. Does history end up repeating itself?

There is a meeting, introducing and announcing the merger of these two companies. It is to discuss what is to be expected, to put the employees’ minds at ease, and to answer any questions they may have. It is a good thing that Raiden has done this so often that he is able to run on automatic, especially since his mind is elsewhere after who he saw walking into this meeting. He is a bit thrown off, his mind wanders and it lands strictly on her.

She knows all about what is happening with this merger. She also knows about the person hosting this meeting. Her decision is not one she wanted to make, but she will deal with this situation once and for all. Zoe listens patiently to the speech, the questions from coworkers. While everyone else is leaving the room, she remains. Silently sitting there, remembering all and she is already over him.

Once the boardroom is cleared, the showdown is on. Zoe states her decision, however Raiden refuses to accept it. Challenging her right from the start by throwing business and pleasure together. Raiden is breaking his own rules by doing this. The tension in the room is so thick, it almost is too much. They make eye contact, but they also start to actually see one another. There is a draw to one another, strong and passionate, angry and relief.

From the start these two face hikes, terrible bugs and bites, storms, trees almost crushing them. They just can’t seem to get it together, there is confusion and hurt that seem to be too strong to break through. They run hot and cold throughout this book, it makes you want to shake them until they can see things clearly and stop fighting what is really at the crux of all of it. It seems that the not-so-anonymous donation that was made is the reason behind actually allowing the past to be just that. The walls are breaking down, and finally Zoe and Raiden are able to break through, allowing each other in completely and into their happily ever after. But man, what a journey.

Lindsey Hart has written a 5-star book. Zoe and Raiden were step-siblings 18 years ago. Now Raiden is seeing her for the first time in all those years. Zoe works for the company that Raiden has just bought, he had no clue that she worked there. He has called a meeting with all the upper management and she is the last one to walk into the meeting. To say the least, he is shocked when she does walk in. Zoe waits until everyone leaves the meeting before she says anything to Raiden. She tells him that she can't or won't work with him and she quits. Raiden is not going to let her quit, so he tells her that if she does, he will fire all the upper management and bring in new personal. She has a fit over this and said that is blackmail. Things do not go well for them at first. Raiden has set up a week-long corporate training at a resort in remote Colorado. This doesn't make Zoe happy, but everyone in the office seems to be. During the week, things happen that cause Zoe and Raiden to come together, but she is not pleased with the outcome. Zoe seems to think that the things that have happened are signs that they are not to be together at all. She tells Raiden, she just wants to go home and she also tells him that she is going to quit. He tells her that he will wait on her to change her mind. When he gets back home he sends Zoe a check and is surprised when he finds out she cashed it. After a few weeks, Zoe goes to see Raiden and tells him that maybe she was wrong in what she was thinking.
Can Zoe and Raiden get the second chance they want?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

I received a copy from BookSprout; this is my honest review.
-I was expecting many LOL moments since this was written by Hart. I can't count them on my hand since there was none. It fell flat. I felt like Zoe was verbally abusing Raiden all the time. It didn't stop even when they were kissing or otherwise occupied. They say it's really hard to change someone's mind once they are stuck up on something; Zoe was and there was nothing Raiden could do to save himself.
-Zoe was also immature, a shrew, and stuck up on the fact that Raiden had money - I had enough of her tirades by 60% in the book - and on poop. She doesn't think much of him if she thinks Raiden will get bored with her pretty much after getting into her pants, but she gave him mixed signals all along and that's not fair. At the end, which was too late for me, she gets an animal sanctuary just for her. Now she likes the money. Does she loves the guy too? Makes me wonder.
-I liked Raiden a lot. He worked hard to get where he's at now. He seemed a fair and reasonable guy too. Not sure what he sees about Zoe, except her body.
-Editing is not bad. Uppercut is from boxing, not karate. A guy who's over 6' doesn't fit on a double bed so he must have been really uncomfortable. Biotch vs. bitch.
-Wouldn't read again. Got bored in the first few chapters.

Not Bossy Enough

Raiden's mom & Zoe's dad got married for 4 yrs. The kids formed a strong bond as friends & really didn't see each other as step-siblings. Once the divorce was final, the family was torn apart. Zoe grew bitter over the years when they didn't contact each other. So when Raiden bought the company she worked for, she's furious. Once she realizes he's not the devil after all, she comes to her senses & sees her best friend hasn't changed because he was beyond rich. Having a month apart & Zoe travelling down another path, they both realize their friendship from long ago, can indeed grow into something more, maybe even having a HEA.

I enjoyed reading the latter half of the story better. I disliked Zoe's character in the beginning few chapters as she comes into the boardroom in the first chapter, with poise & confidence but starts to falter when they are alone after the meeting. She behaves like a spoiled brat having a tantrum at every opportunity, refusing to be happy for him in being more successful over the years. Raiden, a billionaire, who worked his way to the top in being successful, is portrayed as having an Adonis-built body but he has no backbone when it comes to Zoe. He doesn't strike me as one who'd be strong enough to be a boss. After reading many of Ms. Hart's past novels & thoroughly enjoying them, this one disappointed me. If Zoe remained as a strong confident woman & Raiden meeting his match, then I'd say it would be a much stronger story.

Love Zoe and Raiden - from step siblings to husband and wife! This is about Zoe and Raiden. Raiden just purchase his next tech company but to his surprise one of the managers in his new company is his ex-step sister. Both of their parents were only married for a couple of years and they ended that marriage on a sour note, so after they were separated by the divorce, they lost contact with each other even though they promised to stay in touch. Eighteen years later they are meeting and she is mad as can be because now she has to quit her job because she refuses to work for him.

She is hilarious, especially as she doesn't curse and when she does she uses other word to make up what she is trying to say. He gets a kick out of this because he only remembers the loving and sweet Zoe of his past and knows that this incapable of hurting a soul. Of course he feels something for her immediately as well as she does for him but their first time alone together while playing rock, paper, scissors, he gets too excited and comes before time!!!! Of course this is not the only time they get close to something, but the book is way funnier than expected as they fight each other and act like children some times, until Raiden gives up and tells she can leave. Does she realize that she is doing a mistake and come to her senses before it is too late? Can both of their parents accept their relationship if she does? Oh this was such a great story. I loved it.

As Raiden sat in the meeting room of the company he just bought to introduce himself to the staff and let them know how he saw the company going forward but he was surprised to see his ex stepsister walking in the room. He hadn’t seen her in years his mum and her father married but it wasn’t a marriage made in heaven and they divorced after four years. Him and Zoe had got on really well but as the marriage ended so did their relationship and they got on with their lives. Now 18 years later Raiden knew as she entered the room she was angry but why? At the end of the meeting she stayed behind to tell him that she was quitting but he was having none of it and quickly made it near impossible for her to quit. He tells her to meet him at his house tomorrow but will she go.
The reason I think I struggled a bit with this book was because I didn’t like Zoe. I nearly put the book down halfway through as I was still struggling to like her and it was ruining my read really. You knew was going to happen but it was just like they were both spoilt and couldn’t communicate or couldn’t trust their feelings for one another.
I found the second half much better.
This hasn’t put me off and I can’t wait for Lindsey hart next book.

Billionaire Raiden Vanstone’ company has just bought out another small tech company. He enjoys meeting with department heads and supervisors to assure them that although some changes will happen, everything will be alright. But that thought disappears when his former stepsister Zoe Anderson comes walking into the conference room. Raiden hasn’t seen her since their parents divorced years before. He had no clue that she worked for the company he just bought. He can tell by the look on her face, that she knew exactly who was the buyer and is not happy about it.

Once they had been best friends as they tried to get away from their parents’ constant fighting. Each had done a homemade tattoo on their hip with the other’s initial, did the whole blood brothers pledge while holding their bleeding palms together, but most importantly they had promised to always be there for each other. Neither of them had ever tried to find the other in all of the years apart. Zoe wants nothing to do with Raiden because he’s just another person that betrayed her. Raiden has different thoughts and desires he never had about her before.

Lindsey Hart has delivered another one of her billionaire books in her own unique and hot way. Will this be a hostile takeover or a peaceful merger?

so disappointing

I had just read the previous book in this series and I loved it. I was so hopeful that this book would be just as amazing. Unfortunately, it was just an awful waste of time.

The Grumpy Boss was comical but also had a lot of depth to each of the characters. This book made the FMC and MMC seem like horny teens that could only let their hormones think. Every other paragraph was going off on random tangents about their lady bits or junk. They kept referencing what they remembered of each other when they were kids. Zoe, unfairly, held so much anger toward Raiden and it made her look very immature. Towards the last few chapters of the book, I was getting to the point that I was going to abandon the book so I started skimming through the chapters to read just their actual conversations. Turns out, they had very little interaction between them. They have some serious ADHD issues with letting their minds wander. They both admitted that they didn’t know anything about each other regarding what they’ve gone through and who they have become, as adults. Yet, going off of old childhood memories and their current overactive hormones, they know that they’re meant to be.

Overall, I was very disappointed in this book. I’m glad that I read the Grumpy Boss book first, otherwise, based on this book, I wouldn’t have given it a chance.

This book is fantastic! The story Raiden and Zoe, two ex stepsiblings who find themselves back together after 18 years when he buys out the company she works for. When their parents were married they were the best of friends. Then divorce happened and the two lost contact. Now Zoe technically works for Raiden and he's determined not to let her go again. She's convinced he's a jerk and wants to keep hating him but the more time they spend together, the more she just can't do it. A company retreat in Colorado will find her face to face with Raiden's mother again and the two pick up like best friends. It is at lunch where Raiden will learn the truth about how people used Zoe to get to him and it will crush him. Back at his cabin the two end up in each other's arms but a fallen tree will convince Zoe the universe is against them and will run away instead of giving them a chance. Raiden vows to wait for her and despite it being the hardest thing he's ever done, he waits. She will walk into his office one day telling him she's ready to try and it will be the first day of their forever together.

Zoe was Raiden ex-stepsister the was best friends when their parents were married. Zoe was twelve and Raiden was fourteen at the time. They made a promise that they would also take care of each no matter what the the out come of their parents marriage. Raiden is now a tech billionaire who takes over companies and makes them better.
It had been eighteen years since Raiden last seen Zoe. He came face to face with her in his latest procurement, a company that Zoe is employed at. He was attracted to her when he see her for the first after so many years. It was insta-lust. However, Zoe was very mad at him and didn't want to be his employee in fact she down right hated him for reasons he was unaware of.
He wanted to be with her as well as let her continue to work, because he knew that given the chance she would like working for him. Zoe was mad at Raiden because he didn't keep the promise that they made as children. She also resented him because people would use her just to get to him for various reasons. Raiden wanted Zoe bad and he would stop at nothing to get her. This was a sweet story of friendship, understanding, and love.

Billionaire Raiden Vanstone’s company took over a small tech company and is assuring their leadership that things will be moving along smoothly. He is stunned, however, when his ex-stepsister, Zoe Anderson, comes into the boardroom, and she is not happy.

They had promised to always be there for each other during their parents’ battles. They were each other’s best friend. Yet neither contacted the other once the family broke apart 18 years ago. Now Zoe is dealing with that same feeling of betrayal… again.

Raiden talks her into staying rather than quitting as she had intended. But she is not interested in pursuing anything beyond her job, despite the attraction each of them feels. Can Raiden convince her otherwise? Can he win back her trust and her heart?

The pacing of this story was good and the story line was interesting. I liked Raiden’s character from the start. Zoe took a bit of getting used to because of the way she treated Raiden. I would have enjoyed it more if humor was the weapon of choice, and not the biting nastiness. At 30 years old, and being a manager, Zoe should have handled her anger much better than she did. Not my favorite, but overall, I liked the story.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Zoe Scarlet Anderson and Raiden Vanstone. See Zoe and Raiden are ex-stepsiblings. After their parents went through a very nasty divorce they never saw each other again. Before that though they were the best of friends. Now Raiden isn't sure what is going to happen when he finds out the company he just purchased ya Zoe works there. When Zoe decides to take out all of her anger out on Raiden she threatens to quit. The only thing about a threat though is you have to be willing to back it up and when Raiden threatens to fire all the management and start fresh because of her quitting she folds. Can these two find a HEA or will the fighting get so back their only choice is to get away from one another?

This is a great story by this author. I am fairly new to this author so I must say I am impressed and will look for more. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

4 STARS for Mr Bossy Devil by Lindsey Hart

ARC received from Booksprout and author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.

This book is part of the Alphalicious Billionaires Boss series and can be read as a standalone. Raiden Vanstone certainly meets this criteria ❤️ his character.

I’ve read several books now by this author and Ms Hart is always spot on with her romances. This was a quick , easy read that I was able to get lost in a story that totally held my attention.

Great cover
Loved the main characters in Raiden and Zoe
Ex step siblings who have not seen each other for 18 years
Friends to Lovers genre. ( kind of enemies too since Zoe is holding ALOT of resentment )
Corporate setting
LOL funny moments and dialog
HEA

Should they or shouldn’t they get involved with each other romantically - that is the question !!!

Raiden is all in , while Zoe is not so sure and has to get over her hurt as well as her fear society in general will not accept their relationship.

I really enjoyed this book and have really been enjoying this series !

2.5 stars. Honestly thought I would enjoy this story more. Raiden may be called ruthless by those that don't know him, but his portrayal here shows anything but ruthless, or bossy for that matter. He's actually a fair boss that cares about his workers. He's also a sweet and caring guy, not the usual arrogant playboy billionaire in stories like this..

Zoe on the other hand.. she has her own insecurities, and yes life hasn't been fair to her, but honestly she was a brat for the most part of the story.. and when she finally removes her head from her ass, she doesn't seem at all apologetic, in fact, her tone is flat, and she still questions his character in regards to money. Then we cue to the epilogue where she reckons her 2 year old daughter is old enough to tell her what she wants to do in life....

Anyway, it was funny at times, like poor Raiden's 'problem'... But to be honest, I just didn't feel like I was rooting for the heroine and for the couple, which I usually do in a story...

Anyway, I have a lot of this author's stories on my TBR list as the blurbs always paint a sweet, hilarious story... however this is the third book I've read from her, and I've been left feeling like the books have overpromised and underdelivered...

Raiden was a ruthless billionaire who had just bought the company where Zoe was a manager. Zoe, 30, had been his stepsister and best friend for 4 years until their parents divorced 18 years ago. After the divorce they had not seen each other since and Zoe was still upset about that and didn’t want to work for Raiden and threatened to quit. After some coercion on his part Zoe agreed to stay. They were both very attracted to each other and Raiden even began Operation Ex-Stepsister Seduction but Zoe resisted Raiden’s attempts to get closer. Will Zoe and Raiden finally give in to their attraction? Will Zoe let circumstances separate them?

I loved this story of ex- step siblings who reconnect as adults many years later and highly recommend it. The author did a great job of showing how they had been best friends and Zoe was still hurt that Raiden had never tried to contact her. They had to fight through several issues and Zoe continued to resist Raiden, even when he was willing to wait for her to overcome her fears. The epilogue was a fantastic end to their story.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is the story of two young people who were stepbrother and stepsister. They were best friends as kids, but that was nearly twenty years ago. Now stepbrother has taken over the company stepsister is working at. For pretty near all the book they spend the whole time trying to stay away from each other. She comes up with all the excuses under the sun why they shouldn't be together. He counters back with feelings as to why they should be together. The story is light-hearted. His descriptions of how the lower extremities of his body are reacting are quite funny. She is all over the place. How will this war of feelings and emotion end. The story made me laugh and sometimes want to punch the page (ooops - it's an ebook) in exasperation over how slow these two are in getting their minds on the same page. The story is a classic - if you love it let it go. If it's meant to be it'll come back...There is a happy ending, but boy - the mileage these two took to get there. I'm exhausted!
Loved it and recommend it.

I received a free ARC copy in exchange for my honest review. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

Mr. Bossy Devil is part of the Alphalicious Billionaires Boss series by Lindsey Hart. The story is a comedy romance. The writing makes you smile and the characters fighting with witty words.

This story is centered around Raiden Vanstone and Zoe Anderson. Raiden has a Tech empire and Zoe works at his recent acquisition. They have a history her Dad was married and divorced from his Mom when they were teens. They haven't seen each other for 18 years. Best friends as teens, now they are both feeling things and are unsure what to do with it.

I liked Raiden. He knew what was important from the beginning and was determined to get it, even if it meant waiting. Zoe, on the other hand, was not my favorite character. I found her a little whiny and wishy-washy. She wavered in what she wanted to do so much, I think I got whiplash.

Overall the story is an enjoyable read with a happily ever after. It is light and doesn't get into anything dark.

Two kids that were closer than any blood brother and sister end up separated by their parents divorce. As happens to families that are torn apart, these two kids drift apart and are unable to retain their bond.

Now, years later when they are in the middle of a company takeover, these two kids are thrown back together and find that they have both changed. A lot. I love the scene when Raiden first sees Zoe again for the first time. As she walks into the boardroom, he describes how everyone else in the room is watching her. And his reaction as the room clears out and leaves the two of them alone together. His rather descriptive reaction is hilarious!!

It's the little details in the characters reactions to each other that had me flipping pages madly. I loved these characters and the way love pulls them together even though hostility and lingering feelings keep getting in the way. This was a great read.

This books was really not good at all. The main characters are supposed to be around thirty, but they are more immature than kids. The heroine (whose name I can’t even remember) was absolutely horrible. Her inner monologue and the things she said to the main guy was just awful. She is very condescending and is absolutely insane with anger over something that is not even his fault? She is so hung up on him having money and she constantly shames him for his fears and all of his actions. She also keeps saying how nice she is but she really is not. She also swears in the most cringeworthy way. This is supposed to be a fairly steamy book, but her constantly saying things like cactus poop, poop, poop, poop, butt hole, etc etc is so disgusting. There are so many poop references I felt quite sick. I have read the proposal book by this author and enjoyed it much more. This author has some good potential and her writing can be engaging since you feel like you are there, but the execution and the characters are just not good in this book.

I’m a huge Lindsey Hart fan! I can alway count on a great story, amazing characters, and a good dose of humor. I’ve enjoyed the books in this series, so far.
I was really looking forward to reading this book. Not only did I like the author, the step-siblings trope is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, this book fell a bit short for me.
I actually liked Raiden. I didn’t feel like there was anything devilish about him. If anything, he was really sweet, endearing, and thoughtful. Zoe was really the issue for me. She did nothing but rant at him. If I had to choose one word to describe her, I would choose “petulant.”
Don’t get me wrong, the book wasn’t bad, it just was lacking the humor I’ve come to expect from this author and I didn’t like the fmc. I’ll still be looking forward to more of Ms. Harts books.

A bit too much angst from the heroine. It was such a shame that Zoe's personality was something that I had taken a dislike to. She had come across as annoying, unfair, hypocritical, insecure, and inconsistent for a start. This novel would have been a better experience had the 30-year-old female heroine in-spite of some past hurt had decided to behave more like an adult at least some of the time. The history and physical attraction between one-time step-siblings and childhood sworn best friends Zoe and Raiden were well described and handled and the author communicated some steamy, arousing accounts of their sexual activity well. Raiden was thoroughly smitten with Zoe and his tenacity and patience were very well demonstrated. Thankfully, Zoe’s change of heart allows the story to culminate into a HEA. I liked the author's witty writing style, and her good use of vocabulary.

This is the second book in this fun series though each book is a total stand alone and can be read in any order just make sure you read them you won't be disappointed

Raiden Vanstone and Zoe Anderson used to be best friends when they where step siblings but that all ended when their parents had a very acrimonious divorce and went their separate ways Raiden went on to become a very wealthy tech company owner and he has in fact just bought out a smaller competitor. Imagine his surprise when Zoe comes storming into the meeting he is holding with all of the department heads When did she grow up to be so gorgeous and why does he want to sack anyone that looks at her. Zoe isn't happy to see Raiden they swore when they where kids that they would always be there for one another but he never looked for her he let her down and she has no intention of succumbing to him but the attraction between them is off the charts how long will she be bale to resist when he decides she is the one for him.

Raiden and Zoe used to be step siblings but their parents marriage ended badly. Now years later they run into each other again when Raiden buys the company Zoe works at. Sparks fly between them and Zoe thinks he is just going to start firing people. Raiden is drawn to her and wants to prove her wrong so he plans a retreat to help improve the company morale. This also gives him a chance to reunite his mother and Zoe. Things heat up between him and Zoe but she still feels like the universe is trying to tell them not to be together that its wrong. So after the retreat she pushes him away. Will Raiden wait for her? Can Zoe see that they are perfect for each other?

This is an amazing story that will hook you in the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Talk about an emotional roller coaster. This ride wore me out. The book was a cute one that will make you laugh one minute and make you exasperated the next. Zoe and Raiden were best friends and step-siblings growing up but went their separate ways and lost touch when their parents divorced. He became a boy wonder when he developed a successful app and then parlayed that into $$$ by buying up companies. Fate brought them back together when he bought the company where she worked. The attraction was still there but it was a slow-burn. They both seemed to have a hard time being honest and expressing their feelings or acting on them. This was a good book but not my favorite Linsey Hart to date. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Zoe and Raiden are ex stepsiblings, they haven't seen each other in 18 years since their parents divorced. Raiden buys the tech company where Zoe works but he doesn't realise she works there until he meets with the senior managers for the first time.
There are high emotions from the start, its obvious Zoe feels betrayed by Raiden after not hearing from him in so long when they were such good friends before. She tries to avoid him as much as possible but can't seem to help herself from being around him whenever he asks her to meet with him or go on a trip. The attraction seems to be there from the beginning but Zoe seems to want to fight it the most.
Really enjoyed this book, was a little disappointed in how quickly the female character changed her mind at the end, but it was a lovely HEA.

Raiden and Zoe are two incredible characters that Ms. Lindsey Hart has dreamed up to entertain us, in Mr. Bossy Devil. Almost 20 years ago, they were step-siblings, and now they are adversaries... or are they? There was a time when these two would do absolutely anything for one another, however, now things are different. I encourage all fans of romance, to follow along, as their love turns to anger and blows up in their face. Can they finally find their happily ever after? See for yourself, in this wonderfully written romance.

Trust that this book has an amazing and riveting storyline.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Mr. Bossy Devil in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this release as well as anything else by Ms. Hart... Always.
