It's the moment of truth for Eli and the crew of the Boomerang. The final hurdle in their battle to end the threat from the Squadrons and Chairman Amos are at hand.
But there is one more surprise in store for Eli and it's the one thing he's not prepared to face.
But he must, for the sake of all humanity.
Salvation! is fast-paced space opera at its best, perfect for fans of golden age pulp stories full of action, drama, and fun!
Another great scifi. Eli and his crew have tracked the Rogue Chairman. Definitely enough fast paced action to keep you wondering what will happen next. Can’t wait for the next one.
With the help of the Brotherhood, Eli Bryce and his intrepid crew have tracked the rogue Earth Squadron Chairman, Sherman Amos, to his base in the radiation-shielded Izhinio Islands. They knew that Amos had corrupted/coerced a large number of Squadron personnel to join him in his plan to rule the Earth and had stolen ships, weapons, equipment and supplies to support his invasion plans. He had acquired advanced alien technology for super powerful weapons and shielding devices to make his forces less vulnerable to attack, and even experimented with improving soldiers’ bodies, including his own, to make them stronger. What they didn’t know was the scope of these forces.
When their scout ship Boomerang penetrated the radiation shield, they encountered many thousands of ships, which immediately recognized the intrusion and a battle royal began. Hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned, the speedy Boomerang zipped and zigged and zagged, firing their weapons continuously until they ran out of ammo, then had to rely on cunning and making their own luck to continue the mission. The story kept me on the edge of my seat through the ebb and flow of the battle, hoping the crew would prevail. Would any of them survive it? This was a fitting end to the series, with all the loose ends being tied up. It also led to an outcome that could spawn another series or spin-offs to keep this brilliant team of authors working at what they do best – writing great books! I received an ARC –this review is my honest opinion. I also bought a copy on release to support this great team.
Received as an ARC copy, this is an honest review. It all comes down on this: Eli and his his crew face off against Chairman Amos in a final gambit to finally end the darkness Amos had been spreading. Edging closer to confrontation, shadows of the crews pasts' emerge into reality, haunting their path as the end of their pain is about to happen. As always, lives on the line, dark agendas finally reaching their completion; a brilliant and satisfying end to this high octane series, highly recommended.
Eli and his crew and supporters have found Sherman Amos at last and thus starts a battle to win it all. The story was full of action, danger, and a massive space battle. I was glued to the end just to see how the battle would go and how Eli and his crew would survive to the end. What craziness would they pull this time. I laughed and groaned but was entertained as expected from this fun series. Just a great ride.
Just completed the Outcast Starship series. Totally enjoyed it. Definitely needs to hire human proof readers as the errors are glaringly obvious, although they really don't detract from the story. He jumps right into the story and action and it just keeps rolling through all nine books. Yes, the story is simplistic and everyone recovers from fatal injuries multiple times. But its a fun read with likable characters.
I have read all 9 books, one right after the other! Because I could not wait to see what would happen next. Please tell me that there's going to be more! This group is not done yet, they can't be. I recommend this series to anyone who likes a good space story that makes a bunch of outcasts the heroes. And even better, the outcasts have better ethics and standards than the supposedly good guys. Fantastic storyline, outstanding caricatures!
This book was a good ending to a good series. I hope there is more of it to come . The book had a great battle at the middle and near the end . All was revealed and things just flowed together very well . I think it was a great end to the series but you never know if they are going to slip a book or two in at sometime.
I have loved reading this series so much. Not really a fan of space battles but I am now hooked! Well written, edge of your pants action and a group of heroes you can get behind and will them on to victory. I couldn't put it down. Well done you two.
Salvation Outcast starts with a battle and almost ends with a twist. This whole series is one of the best you can read. The question is, who lives and who dies. Another great read from Joshua and Daniel.
Outcast Starship Series, the nine-book journey was thoroughly enjoyable and fun to read. The crew, their histories, and the Boomerang's exploits kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. Kudos, Joshua and Daniel.
This whole series was good. I enjoyed it tremendously. With all the twists and turns of fortune, the crew got beat up but kept coming back to finish the job before them. Hoping for another set of stories to follow this. I would recommend
The action started from the firsthand and didn't let up until the final few pages. I envy folks just now starting the series. It's been a while since I read the last book and this new one didn't provide any lead in. I kept hoping I'd remember some of the plot, but it never really came to me.
If you have not read the prior book in the series in a while, grab it and brush through it before reading this one.
