Move over superheroes, superpowers, men, machines, and weapons with unending noisy ammo. This time when humanity is in danger, it is a humble but not-so-humble kindergarten teacher who must save the world with just the tools of her trade. In the process, she learns the mystery of time, which may solve the puzzle archaeologists and historians in the real world have been struggling to discover. A hypersonic plane. A hypersonic love story. An apocalypse too great for words. A survival technique hinging on the powers of the mind that can defy death and thousands of years-thirty-five thousand years to be exact! Emit Eht is a tale about discovering secrets of our past and asking ourselves if what we know about human history is all a lie. Is our past more closely connected with our future than we know?
A passionate kindergarten teacher for over fifteen years, I quit my soul-satisfying teaching career to become an author overnight after experiencing sudden mysterious spiritual urge for public writing. My first endeavour at writing was to pen my intimate thoughts on life and spirituality and writing children's stories. I only later realised that almost everyone since my childhood had been telling me to become a writer! A deep spiritualist at heart, I feel strongly about Earth, nature and humanity. By writing Emit Eht I aim to awaken readers towards those unknown problems of humanity's future that may well be a ghastly reality one day that we are completely unprepared for. I am married and live with my husband and child in Munich, Germany, my favourite city in the world. I love reading, writing and listening to 'my kind of' music. If you read Emit Eht, you will find me quite similar to Eva, Christopher and Krishna.
There are very few books that offer this incredible variety of locations, ideas, topics and characters. The narrator deals with love, hatred, teaching, history, high tech and primitive civilization, God, dreams, mystery of time, destiny and fate, childhood and maturity, friendship and love, out-of-place artifacts etc. The book makes you think about the future and past of the world, your family and relationships. On the one hand, it is thought-provoking and on the other hand, it has an exciting plot with unexpected twists. I would recommend this book to any reader older than 16. I found particularly fascinating philosophical quotes at the beginning of every chapter. They are wonderfully connected to the plot with all the intricate actions.
A very good book. I confess I am shaken. Emit Eht may not be as romantic as the writer claims, but it is one shit load of science and spirituality. By the time I reached the end, I just sat up and said like 'What????' Anybody who has interest in sci-fi or spiritual stuff, should go for it. You'll be surprised.
I don't really need to read this. It's the product of Authorhouse, which I think is a vanity press.
I read the advert on Quora, and the further I read the less impressed I was.
The cover looked as if it could be fun, so I clicked on it, to be met with a long sheet of what looked like pseudo-arty black-and-white portrait photos with over-long quotes in them. The quotes appear to be mainly sententious rather than meaningful--quite a lot of them look like motivational management posters.
Having big meaningful words like "time" or "love" in a sentence doesn't necessarily make the whole sentence punch above its weight. Nor does a message about fear vs courage that could have come from Harry Potter or The Hunger Games. Or Dune. At least Dune added the McGuffin of the "gom jabbar" to make Frank Herbert's version of fear vs courage a lot more punchy.
The quotes also used the word "bitch" altogether too much, frequently at the expense of coherence. I can't get much of anything from the following quote:
"A bitch for a bitch, a saint for saint, Because a bitch for a saint or a saint for a bitch will be just unfair blissful torture."
apart from the misplaced comma and possible misogyny.
Impressively original! I found the cover intriguing with this clock thing and decided to try it. Emit Eht is deep. It starts as a modern romance, then suddenly turns into science-fi. The end is so extra-ordinary that I couldn't believe myself. I found the story extremely unusual and out of the beaten track. I agree with other reviewers; the setting of the story and scenes and characters are very spectacular and engaging. I would love to see this book in cinema. This book is highly recommended.
This Book is a REAL nailbiter. It had interesting plot twists and kept me entertained. I especially LOVED the quotes in this book. The story was really something different and its ending just satisfying and thought provoking. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in spiritual things or if you just want to be entertained!
A thought provoking story with an exciting plot! This novel made me reflect on human history, humanities future and our individual place in the universe. I especially liked that the topics in the story reflect the current situation in the world. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in history, out of place artefacts and spirituality.
Truely speaking from my experience this is an Amazing book . Not many books that offer this amazing assortment of areas, thoughts, points and characters. The storyteller manages to express love, disdain, educating, history, innovative and crude human advancement, God, dreams, secret of time, predetermination and destiny. It too have plot with unforeseen turns. They are brilliantly associated with the plot with all the perplexing activities.People who are into these kinda theme should actually give this book a try . 👍
Allow me to share a new perspective with you just for the sake of some fun and critical creative thinking.
Let us, just for one moment, forget how old is Earth, humanity and our civilisation. Let’s forget when was writing invented and age of artefacts. Let us do some time engineering: Remember it is just for fun.
We are significantly developed in science and technology, and Earth is reeling in chaotic climate change and environmental damages. Imagine, an asteroid (or whatever) rams in and humanity is finished (like dinosaurs) leaving sundry alive here and there. In absence of human beings, their activities, consumption and industries, the earth starts recovering. All existing places and things are swallowed up and many years elapse.
The fun part is about to begin:
1. How long can/will it take for surviving ‘sundry’ humans to reach current level of advancement? 2. Can/will their technology be same as our current one? 3. How much of our current existence will be able to survive thousands of years in future? 4. Will future scientists, historians and archaeologists be able to discover accurately how we are living right now? Will they know we have 5G Internet, Facebook, Online bank- transfer, Insta-chat, Cable TV, Nano-technology, 3-D printing, space-exploration etc etc etc etc etc? 5. If future scientist found an Audi symbol of 5 rings (Or that of BMW) would they know it meant a car? They might think it means four continents, or three eyes or four suns and three moons...! 6. Writing (and what not) will again have to be invented and would be most probably only 4–6 thousand years old.
The funniest part is this:
Are we doing the same? What’s the proof we aren’t? Oh, there are proofs all right…Just look around at yourself now. Now, does Göbekli Tepe and Pyramids, Nazca Lines of Peru, Baghdad Battery, London Hammer, Stonehenge and the like, make some more sense than Historians are willing to tell us???

Very nice, interesting and engaging book. A must read for everyone who wants to discover the truth about human evolution, Out Of Place Artifacts, ancient civilisations and human soul. The story is so interesting, I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
Fantastic! Mind blowing! A great read! Tremendous relevance with our current times. The science, climate and history aspects are wonderfully interwoven and very informative. You gotta love Eva with her crazy swearing and short temper!
