This is the first book in the Zakone Bratva Series and a great beginning to what is going to be a dynamite series. If you like mafia romances you'll love this book. Overflowing with action, suspense and drama. Once you start reading this book is hard to put down. Emotional and drama filled this books a winner. The characters are strong, amazing and well developed. The story is a page turner. I read an advanced copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review.

What a first 24 hours to their marriage....nothing is as it seems
Alexander is the first book in the Zakone Bratva series and is the story of Sashenka "Sasha or Alexander" Solonik and Lia Agron. Both are the children of leaders of different Russian Bratva crime families in the US. Alexander is the oldest son and Lia is the beautiful daughter who have been engaged for a year to be married as a tie between the families., apparently for bad blood. But what really plays out over the course of the first twenty-four hours of their marriage is a whole lot more than what meets the eye.
This is a very fast-paced first part in what is a continuing story, so be ready to read the entire series of short stories to see what happens. The first book introduces the several characters from each family, the different worlds in which they live and also some of the background of both Alexander and Lia. If the rest of the books in this series are going to be like this one then be ready to go on a super fast rollercoaster ride with a lot of mystery, violence, murder, intrigue, dirty dealings, deceit, family dynamics that would make Dr. Phil run screaming for the door and a lot of sizzling hot passion.

Alexander had only been allowed to see his future wife five times since their engagement was announced. When they married, they were almost strangers, whose marriage was supposed to two families. Alexander's father could no longer control him by himself, but by isolating him between the two families. This is a simply wonderful, captivating Mafia read I thoroughly enjoyed
Two families at war with each other and the solution is to have an arranged wedding between the next generations from each family, the idea is not easily accepted. The Mafia females especially learn that they are more often than not a commodity that can be traded as and when and this is a prime example of this fact.
Lia is to be matched with Alexander who is the enforcer for his Bratva and although there is a spark between the two of them there is also a certain dislike and distrust but when your head instructs you what is expected of you, there is no choice.
Alexander realises that Lia is not as he had expected she is beautiful, gentle and also very innocent and alliance to him this also means that she pledges her heart and alliance with him and now ensures that she will stand by him and will stand to protect him as much as she is able.
Alexander had not expected to be so attracted to Lia and now they were in a relationship it is obvious they are both attracted to each other, this is a wonderful read and you will enjoy the complexity of this story, the plot is simply wonderful.
I cannot wait for the second book in this series, you will be absolutely riveted and intoxicated by this read.

Alexander grew up knowing the darkness within his father, Maksim, he would beat his mother and when he saw his son becoming his rival he did what he had to get him back in line and his marriage to Lia Agron was just one of them. Lia knew she wouldnt get to marry for love but when she saw Alexander she saw more than just the Solonik enforcer and son and heir of Makaim. Alexander knew he was giving over his loyalty and life to Lia's father and unite the feuding families, Lia makes him feel something he never thought he could. When Alexanders loyalty is tested what will he discover? and what will it mean for him and Lia? This book ends on a cliff hanger. A well written stey short insta enemies to lovers romance. With violence, lust and a good story line that has you hooked from the beginning.

I'm looking at all of these 5-star and 4-star reviews and wondering if we read the same book. That's not to say people don't have different tastes, but maybe Autumn Reign isn't a 'for me' author. I've read the Koalistia series and felt the same way. The style of her writing is not cohesive enough for me to comprehend easily. I do realize these are mini novellas - not the issue. I've read my fair share of mafia novellas. For me, her books are written in half sentences and very much telling rather than showing. I also have noticed that Ms. Reign's writing style leaves me confused in specific POV chapters. For example, in the FMC POV's chapter, it also described his feelings. Maybe it's the 3rd person, although I've read entire books series' without even realizing it was in 3rd person.

This was a short read, but filled with passion, action, drama, suspense and romance. This is a great beginning to the series. Alexander is a member of the Bravta and is marrying Lia to unite their families to get his father out of a mess. Lia is a gentle, innocent woman who knows the politics of the mafia, but doesn’t know everything that is going on. Alexander and Lia seem to have a connection, but both are afraid to trust. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series to see what happens next.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a great beginning to the Zacone Bratva series. The arranged marriage between Lia and Alexander is not what they expected. They both are natural enemies used to unite families. They have a spark between them that after a while, Alexander wants his innocent brides heart and soul along with her body. She wants him also but is afraid to trust him. This was a story full of emotion, drama, lust and love. The characters were perfect for each other and found love in a world where they were not supposed to.

This book is basically the introduction to the world of the Zacone Bratva a super fast less than thirty minute read it was strong enough that I am now looking forward to more in the series
Alexander is ordered by his father to marry the daughter of a rival Bratva family . He has no idea it is also to get him away so he cannot see that his father is dealing in humans. Alexander and Lia have a instant connection and even though this was a arranged marriage the sparks bet wen them soon flare Her family is also involved in human trafficking Can these two form a relationship strong enough to fight all of the pressure that will be brought to bear on them.

4 STARS for Alexander : A Dark Mafia Arranged Marriage by Autumn Reign
Looking forward to reading more of this author’s work as this is the beginning of a new mafia setting series. This is a very short read ( just an hour or so ) and does end with a cliffhanger.
I really liked both the main characters in Lia and Alexander - arranged marriage between the two in order to unite their families.
Already there is deception , hurtful relationships , secrets and so much more ...
It will be very interesting to see how these characters evolve throughout the series. I definitely already love Lia !!

The intrigue and suspense is only just starting for newly weds Alexander and Lia, as only now certain secrets are revealed and they realise that they are going to need each other in order to survive the storm that is coming. As we, the readers, are only shown a small part of the goings-on in the background at the same time as our main characters, I was instantly hooked and will be getting book number 2 to find out more!

Very short introduction story of the arranged marriage between Lia and Alexander to merge two mafia families, but all is not as it seems and deep dark secrets swirl in the murky mafia waters with both fathers as the sharks with hidden agenda's and evil ambitions, plans and trades. I loved that both characters are strong, smart and quickly figure out what's happening and now teaming up to survive. I am hooked I now must read the series.

This is a short story with other books to follow, at least that is what I hope will happen. Lia and Alexander are engaged to be married to bring the two crime families together. After they are married things seem to take a turn. This is the introduction to our main ansd supporting characters and some backstory on the characters are also given. I love how Autumn Reign told the story. This is a very quick read and I did it in one sitting. Fantastic story and I cannot wait for the more.

This is the first book in the Zakone Bratva Series and a fantastic start to this series. Alexander is marrying Lia to unite their two families and he never expected the gentle and sweet woman he is paired with. Lia and Alexander have an attraction and connection, but both are afraid to open up and trust each other. This was a really great Mafia read and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

The story line is action-packed, drama-filled, and gripping; you will be pulled in and kept on the edge of your seat eagerly turning the pages to find out what happens next. Now I have given this book 5 stars because the writing is so good. The story of Lia and Alexander, pawns between two ruthless mafia families brought together for an arranged marriage. Brutally explicit but the tenderness between this couple shone through in the writing. Hope the next book about Maksim is longer as there is so much more story to this couple.

The author has given us a great start to a new series. As is typical in the Mafia, Lia is to be given to Alexander and neither one expects the attration they feel for each other. The story pulls you in and never lets go with lust/love, danger, suspense and action.

What an amazing start to this new series. The story pulls you in right from the beginning and holds you there till the very end. The characters are engaging and have amazing chemistry. This is the first look into amazing, exciting series, I can't wait to read the next book.

Love the story Line love the2 main characters. She got lucky that Alexander isn't like his masochistic father. The fact that no matter what she stands beside Alexander is awesome bc he definitely needs someone like that it ended Inn a bit of a cliffhanger the story was finished but it did leave you wanting more. I really hope he stands up to his butthead of a father in the next book. Can't wait.

Alexander and Lia.... wow this story had it all. Love lust, romance, violence and in the end a cliffhanger. A great new dark mafia series with characters that were great developed and the story hooked you from the start.... Can't wait for the next story.

Ends in a cliffhanger.
A quick read. This is an intro to a new series. Lia and Alexander marry to unite their mob families. I like how they accept the marriage, instead if hating each other. They face deception and betray from their families.

I couldn't get enough of this one. Alexander & Lia are great characters. It's a suspenseful read that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Oh, I enjoyed Lia and Alex. This is a little darker than other Autumn books but it’s so good. It still has that sexiness and attraction you expect from the characters. The story was intriguing too.
