Acting out the part of a Demon Lord, Diablo accepted a quest from the King of Lyferia. However, after befriending the kobolds he was meant to dispatch, he faces off against the Kingdom of Lyferia.
But that situation is changed in the space of one night, because of a shocking decleration of war from the Empire of Gelmed!
The enemy lays waste to a citadel city with overwhelmingly powerful Magimatic Sols, conquering it. Diablo, on the other hand, runs into an entirely different kind of crisis.
“Erm… Diablo... I, uhm, saw it." "Huh?" “I saw what you… did in the courtyard with Solami… last night.”
This is the twelfth volume of the adventures of an earth-shakingly powerful Demon Lord (or at least someone who acts like one) taking on another world! The start of a huge plot twist!
Best of the series so far. As things start going south for the Kingdom, Diablo finally wakes up to reality and stops role-playing. Really enjoying him understanding how serious the situation has become.
Its not better than volume 11, but still a 5/5 star book. Definitely loved the new elements introduced and the war was interesting. Diablo matured a little bit too. I hope that he is able to overcome his shyness with at least Rem and Shera. Its pretty obvious that they already know he's not a Demon Lord.
Either way I'm still greatly enjoying this series and can't wait for the next volume to come out.
This is setting up for old boy to go full beast mode. We've finally hit a point where Diablo had to stop playing a demon lord and actually be one. I'm curious to see what's going to happen in the next issue. As my good boy Kevin Hart said.
While Diablo and crew is hiding out after betrayal. The Kingdom have bigger problems...invasion. Is it the fallen again? Not this time. Its an Empire from across the sea. It is really heating up. Can't wait to start the next one.
Now talk about a plot twist. I was just thinking is the end near, then came mechs. Spirit or Tech or a combination of both? I am looking forward for the next volume.
