Roxy Reid is a wonderful novella that pulls you in, entertains, and informs! This is a perfect book for a long flight or a rainy weekend. The chief character, Roxy, is exciting, passionate, vibrant, and deep. While this book continues the story of Roxy that began in R.M. Burgess’ earlier novel, Flawed Perfection, the book does “stand on its own” pulling the reader into the world of picturesque scenes, vivid characters, poetic deliberations, and colorful illustrations of multidimensional extremes of human nature.

The characterization and plotting are solid.
