I have read and enjoyed Never Forgive, Never Forget another great book by Dan Ames set in the wonderful Reacher universe. The main characters in this series is the people Reacher worked with in the 110th MP unit. This time our hero is David O'Donnell in Washington D.C. His client is murdered but by who and why? The plot gets rather intriguing for a while, but with a little help from some of his ex army buddies and "some" action our hero figures it out.... I love the work from this author and you should check him out. Great writer, with many series to choose from. Or like me, don't choose read them all. I must thank the author for giving me another great advance copy. Proud member of the A-team.

As always this one outstanding book. When Jack Reacher is in the picture, suspense is on the way. Will he solve the case, who knows. Loved it.

I received a review copy from the author at my request and this is my honest opinion. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of Mr. Ames's books set in the Jack Reacher Universe. They are concise and interesting, with great three-dimensional characters. Usually, the stories based on the Special Investigators unit that Reacher led are group-based, but this one was a solo, with Dave O'Donnel being the focus. There was a bit of input from a couple of members of the team, but Dave carried the story. And a quite interesting story it was. I can't wait to see how the next story pans out; whether Mr. Ames will continue a thread from this story or if he will go in another direction and come back to this thread at a later date. Whichever he decides to do, I can't wait to see the conclusion. (Can't say anymore or I'll have to put a "spoiler alert" in.)
If I had any criticism of these books it would be a minor one and might actually be considered a compliment. They are a bit short in my opinion. I would like to spend more time with the crew and have a more complex "mission" to carry out. At the same time. these books are a great break from some of the more lengthy and involved books I read. I know going in that I'm going to enjoy the story and I'm not going to be tied up for days chomping at the bit to get to the "reveal". So, really, I guess I don't have a complaint after all.

P.I. Dave O’Donnell client Kate Magnusson was basically a routine matter nothing that would led to her being murder. That first meeting was a ruse to meet me he thought, she was definitely terrified but didn’t offer why.
A case where I should have asked, or did she do what she wanted at my office. Was her death and alternative motive.
A plot that flows, you feel like you are with Dave as he is thinking of Kate, how much time he wants to spend to get answers, a closure. Great series

Pl O'DONNELL worked for Jack Reacher in the Army. Highly regarde by Reacher d and his team. Meticulous,not afraid to go where ever his investigation takes him. A client has been brutally murdered. Initially not related to what she hired him for. But, she left him a clue and investigate he will. Homicide detectives as well as the FBI don't want him involved. Fat chance of that. Fast moving read! Enjoyed immensely!!

An introduction to another piece of Reachers past, Dave O’Donnell. As part of the “special investigators” he shows his mettle as a PI and brawls like Reacher. While there isn’t a ton of action, the book walks you through Dave’s thoughts and actions as he solves a murder, and keeps you interested right until the end. This story expands Reachers universe a little bit more for some great entertainment.

Good Story!
This was a good story! However, a little one sided if you ask me. Wishing, reading the story there would have been a little more involvement with the rest of the special investors and not just O'Donnell. He carried the story line fine, but was expecting a little more. Maybe the next story will give that me.

Another great action packed thriller in the Jack Reacher Special Investigators series. A page turning read with a great main character. Highly recommended story that will leave you wanting more. Bring on more investigations in this well written series.

Wow! Hold on to your hats! This story starts off with a bang and goes from there. This is a great series, so action packed. I particularly like the main character. He is smart, gutsy and doesn’t take no for an answer. Once you start reading you will not stop, it’s that good.

Dave O'Donnell, another member of the Reacher Special Investigators, has the lead in this book. What seems like a pretty simple request to investigate two PACs takes an unexpected turn when his client turns up murdered. This is a very fast-paced story that you won't want to put down.

Three in a row
Read the 3 in the series and enjoyed these books mainly because they were quick reads, not very long and moved at a fast pace. Great for a long weekend with nothing planned.
