Allesandro My fury consumes me. Nobody is safe from it. I will bring my Emilio home. I will rebuild my empire. I’ll demolish anyone standing in my way.
Emilio He thinks he has me beat. He thinks he’s in control. If there’s one thing Master taught me, I make my own destiny. I’ll claw my own way out and when I do they’d better prepare. Nobody has ever seen the likes of me.
What happens when vengeance and fury twist together?

This is a continuous series. The first three books must be read prior to this one.
Leigh is a dark M/M romance author from Texas who writes villains of varying degrees. She considers coffee a major food group and her family fears broken coffeemakers. She writes in her spare time, forced to the keyboard by characters entirely too vocal in her opinion and often falls victim to plot monkeys. In between creating mayhem with her characters and friends, her hope is to transport readers to fictional places and provide darkness with a twist.
Omg poor poor Emilio, in the claws of psychopath Peter who is obsessed with Emilio. It’s impossible to describe what horror Emilio is going through.
A lot is happening. It’s all about power and submission, family, and rank. Allesandro does everything to find Emilio, to find what is his.
To see the story from several points of view makes it even more thrilling. Awesomely written again, this series does not falter or weaken, it only gets stronger. It’s all rough, vicious, corrupt, perverse, malicious, dark, with noncon and dubcon activity. Yep, I love it. Highly recommended
At this point in the series, it is difficult to review without giving things away. This installment picks up right where the previous one left off and thank goodness after we were left hanging with a big cliffy! The story is progressing with more twists, turns, betrayals and power struggles. Who is betraying who and why? Meaning, are they being forced in one way or another and should that even matter? One thing is for certain all along – Emilio belongs with Allesandro and their bond has only strengthened, even if Allesandro is worried about allowing others and Emilio to see it.
There are some new players introduced and some that have been taken out of the picture. At the core of this story is the struggle for power and how the players are trying to obtain the lead. It appears Allesandro is hanging on to the lead by a thread that is continually tested by betrayal, and even though his careful control is challenged here and there, it seems he still has some tricks up his sleeve. With his trusted Emilio, who is becoming more ruthless by the day, by his side, my money is still on them making it out on the other side though perhaps more family members won’t be so lucky. We will have to wait and see. Thankfully, it looks like Ms. Kenzie is cranking this story out in a fairly timely manner. She hasn’t let us down yet, so here’s to starting 2021 off with a bang!
Defintely recommend this series if you are looking for something on the darker more violent side.
This book is a great continuation of this dark mm series. This series really needs to be read in order because it’s really one story rather than individual stories like some series. Oh boy what a series it is. As long as you are a fan of dark mm romance then I’m pretty sure you will like this as much as I do.
This is Leigh Kenzie's best book so far in this series.
That first chapter - I set the book down for over an hour because of all the feelings I had. Allesandro and Lio remain my favorite characters in this series and the growth of both of them shines through in Ira. Allesandro had to adjust and change of how he thinks about people, his history, and what he's doing. Lio has internal demons to battle while trying to find his place again. (Of course, everyone in this series is going to need some intense therapy when it's all said and done!)
It was so nice to see the different POVs of what was happening. There are several plot lines running through the book with a lot happening that not all of the characters know about. I really enjoyed the flow of this book. The pages turned quickly and I was able to keep up with all the different threads of connections. Relationships become more complex and dynamic. Motivations are shown for others. Everyone has an agenda and it's not always the first one you think.
Heed the warnings, please. There are parts of this book that could be disturbing and triggering, but as always, it is laid out in the first part of the book.
Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Lio is bound to a madman in every way as Peter turned more craze after the death of his brother. Brendan is showing more of his true self but I think the man is in denial where his desires lay, but then maybe it's just the pain that does it. Keegan, I am really liking him but is there more going on where the whit knight/Mayhem is concerned. The mole is found out but just why did he do it and can he really expect forgiveness after this even if there reason was sound. Allesandro has war on his mind, only now has he become the hunter or the prey? I'm so torn right now on a few people throughout these books I have bounced back and forth on the love-hate of the boys and master, hella I even liked Jack/Daniel. Now the new guy Keegan still on the fence about him but Oh this is just getting better and better, hot dog about time that boy got his revenge, Lio is more then scared, but can Allesandro and the boys help him is the big question. Keegan only get feed what he needed to see and hear by Brendan but I'm thinking more is coming from this man good or bad to-be-determined.

This series just gets crazier and crazier. There were a lot more people introduced in this one, and I found myself getting a little confused between all of the people and the names but this series is still so good and I cant wait to see what happens next.
The twisted web Alessandro inherited from his father, continues once more with IRA. Luca, no matter his crimes against family, I cried for him. For his absolute loyalty. Both raised in this life, how were either’s choices ever freely made?
“𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝓃𝑜 𝒶𝒷𝓈𝑜𝓁𝓊𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝒶𝓃𝓎𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝒾𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎.”
Tradimento’s cliffhanger set this book up perfectly. Reading back through this series I’ve discovered little things I missed. Happy to reimerse myself in this world, reminding me how much I truly enjoy Ms. Kenzie’s characters, arcs and research involved. Darkness abounds. I beg anyone picking the series up, check content warnings. IRA may appear a gentler read, it’s tone is different, for good reason.
Dr. Ranlen cracks me up. She’s as blood thirsty as the Boys. Despite Il Padrone’s protestations, they are honorable criminals in the grand scheme of things. He doesn’t have a soft side though, unless you count Lio. How he tolerates her, I honestly don’t know.
Emilo’s growth in this book I waited most patiently for. I may have cursed Ms. Kenzie, but she never fails to deliver. Lio was going to suffer, to create the man Alessandro knew he needed him to be.
The key to their family, fractured without him, betrayal abounds. I need to remember to breath reading this series. Holding my breath for too long seriously isn’t healthy.
I loved Tradimento. I wondered if the next book would continue to build, or had the series peaked. Emilo’s book, and it’s truly his this time, raised the bar further. The inner workings of both factions comes further into the light.
Without Lio, would we have the man Il Padrone is gradually becoming, reaching his full potential at last?
I think Lio truly gives Alessandro, and all of the Boys, reason to live. 4.5 ⭐️
This fourth book continues Allesandro's and Emillio's story. If you haven't read what's come before, you will miss out on a lot of things.
In this book, we get even more different POV's. For me, this got a bit tiring as I want to get to know our main characters better and the other POV's feel like they are taking up their time, even though I suppose those other POV's are necessary for the story. It also feels like events keep being repeated, only with different characters/surroundings, so the story doesn't really surprise me at all. It's just more of the same. The story really picks up speed now and it's interesting to see where everything is going. Characters are changing and I still wish we would get to know them better beside their basis instincts, I want to keep on reading.
There's not really a cliffhanger at the end of this book, although the story is defiantly not finished yet.
Note: After my remark about safe s*x in my review for the third book, the author takes a moment to explain all characters have been tested and are negative. Hurray! Although, it feels like a bit of a stretch with the amount of f*cking around.
The need for vegence keeps on piling for each of our men. Lio finds some, but is it enough to erase the scars of what has been done? All this is making him into a stronger, better, unbreakable to be the perfect boy for his master. The other boys' secrets are coming out as well, leaving them all on the path if they are trustworthy. With the entering of Kegan, you know the dynamics are about to change once again and hopefully for the better. The way this story is weaved is truly a masterpiece of writing. You feel the need for each of these men to be the perfect subordinate yet still fight to be themselves. Loving all the relationships building among the inner circle. Once all pieces are put into place, will the inner circle be intact, or will they need to build something different to alleviate all that has happened.
Well, Peter became a pill and a half! So much for kind of liking him in the last book. I think the last decent braincell slipped out with Daniel. I really liked that character, by the way (Daniel). Keegan grows on you, while you hope Brendan will jump off a cliff. I still wish these books were a bit longer, just to expound things a little more. This one was the shortest by far. Book 4 still kept my interest and at this point, I’m fully invested in what is going to happen. I don’t think there’s any reason that would stop me from reading the rest. I’ll be sure to continue on to Crimson Bonds as well. I fully enjoy the Amato and Martelli families and the entire universe they’re in. It definitely keeps you on your toes. I recommend going in to these blind. I found it much entertaining than if I had read all the summaries, blurbs and reviews.
DNF @ 70% I get that this is a dark story, a very twisted dark romance. But between the endless unnecessary BJ scenes and the continuous raping without physical or psychological consequences it's just too much. I can ignore some slight changes in how something would happen in real life and that's totally ok because, let's face it, the whole point of books, specially romances, is to escape reality and enjoy new worlds. But there's a fine line between actually bending reality and just going full amateur fanfiction mode. So nope. I almost skimmed through the whole book (and half of the previous one). It wouldn't be fair to continue.
Whew! This book takes its characters and readers on one heck of a ride. I loved seeing Emilio come into his own here. When put in this life threatening situation, he discovers how strong he really can be and others have been grossly underestimating him to their lasting regret. Allesandro is also discovering things about himself here. He's finding out just how many balls he can keep in the air relative to family business in all its forms and, that he also has an emotional side that Emilio has tapped into like no one else. Two smart, strong men get stronger and use all that strength and smarts.
Wow! This book was absolutely brilliant. I am in love with this entire series and this one didn't dissapoint in the least.
This is my favorite book in the series so far. After the Cliffhanger in book 3, I immediately dived into this one. Curious to see what happens next. The twists and turns in this book always keeps me guessing and at the edge of my seat.
The tone of this book is completely different to what we have been reading in books 1-3. This is a dark, twisted, depraved and absolutely brilliant series. Be sure to read it in the series order for maximum enjoyment.
I'm liking this series, so far book three must be my favourite as it had me completely turned around and unable to know what to expect. This one turns it down a notch but Lio's troubles isn't over, things aren't easy even when he finds his way home.
Brendan is a character I liked which have quickly gone down the drain, thinking it isn't gay if he tells himself it isn't gay.
There are plenty of things up in the air by the end of this book, so many characters that's introduced and that needs to find their way as well. Very excited for the next book.
Dark, twisty, violent and full of shifting hierarchies of power, control, submission, and survival. Emilio goes through so much, and then there's more. Not for the faint of heart— but immersive and once you’re hooked, you’re hooked and finding out what happens next, no matter how awful it might turn out to be, is a must. Note for readers that this book is part of a series, and you’ll want to have read previous installments prior to this one.
*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
First off, the characterizations of Emilio and Allesandro were wonderfully crafted. I really enjoyed reading about these two.
I loved the glimpses into Emilio’s mind as he planned his escape. And how the training with Il Padrone prepared him for what he had to endure. The character growth was spot on. I really felt for this poor guy. In a leap, he went from naïve college boy to a grown man executing what’s necessary to save his own life.
Very full on book. Emilio still hasn't been found and is suffering, but everyone underestimates him. We have a new main player who definitely has a morale code. You see a different side to Allesandro, you just knew it had to be there. More betrayal, more murder and an escape. Very action packed, still dark so please read the TWs if you may be affected. Cannot wait for the next instalment.
I received an ARC for an honest and voluntary review.
This installment was quintessential on how to prevail. This rollercoaster ride keeps on weeving in different directions causing a plethora of new plot turns that keep you on edge. I've been through so much emotional angst with this series, but unable to put it down. A Page Turning Dark Mafia Delight!!!
So much happening in this one but again it's impossible to talk too much about it. The main thing though is we learn more about Marcus and we get to know Keegan who I think will be central to the Family. Heat, Violence, Betrayal and as Emilio says, very Shakespearean
This author has created a dark and twisted world. Excellent world building in a well-crafted novel! The story was absolutely amazing. The twist and turns kept me guessing. Highly recommend!! I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advance copy that I received.
I would love to know when the next book is coming out!! I love the character and it keeps leaving you wanting more! Overall all is strong, rough, exciting! Please let the next book I this series be out soon!
Excellent dark series of books that just gets better and better literally unable to stop reading them. Highly recommended and a must read for all dark story lovers out there .
Let’s face it, if you’ve come this far you’re in it for the long haul. Slowly all the parts and players are revealing themselves, sometimes you expect what’s coming, sometimes a twist catches you out. It seems like this author knows how to reel you in and keep you reading.
His fury defines him and he knows noon will be safe from him. He has brought them home believing he is in control but they know they could beat him. What is going to happen for these two men? Who will come out on top? Will they destroy each other? See just how it will all go
This author has created a dark and twisted world. This book is a great continuation of this dark mm series. The storyline keeps you turning the page wanting more of these characters.
Rating 0 WTF was that!!! I never bother putting a review even if I like the book but now I just can't it's a horrible horrible and disturbing book the story was so much fu....cked so much painful for nothing 💔 😢 if lio really existed he would be better off dead 💔 😢 if I have to rate it's 0
I devoured this book, some of the sex scenes had me skimming but all in all I LOVED the plot. Also I’m looking forward to (hopefully) Keegan and Marcus getting together but what secrets are Keegan hiding???
