“I’ve been rejected, I know the pain. Now I have to choose - only one can be my Fated….” Reawakened. Pulsing with power. Chosen by destiny. Owning her calling as the fifth Centrum of the Goddess Luna, Amarli Wolfe must join with her four fated mates to achieve her full, unparalleled potential. But how can she choose when the mere thought makes her heart ache? Time is of the essence in this crucial choice as faces from the past re-emerge to test Amarli’s faith. Drowning in the unknown, she battles to determine who she can trust among those who call themselves allies. Yet as duty calls her to assist the Daniels pack in finding their missing alpha, she’s set on a course that could rewrite her future. On the path of destiny, one unanticipated step could change everything. Decisions will be made, lives will be lost, and nothing will ever be the same. The Claiming by Amarli Wolfe is the continuation in the Centrum Trilogy. This is a reverse harem, paranormal adult read. The shifters by nature are violent. Please be aware when deciding to embark on this read that this book will not be for everyone. Be warned, book 2 will end with a bang!
Lucy's female leads are strong, intelligent, feisty bombshells who always get the happy ever after they deserve. After a bit of drama and angst, of course.
And when Lucy's not writing, she's reading about strong FMC's finding their happy ever after.
Wow what an ending,I'm totally blown away that was major intense and left me hanging by a fingernail off the edge of a cliff. Amarli finally gets to Kerston and they all bring him to her house not knowing if he will survive and with an unexpected appearance it leaves her torn between two hot men. And with the Dorian still missing and Annie trying to claim herself as Alpha things get kinda crazy. And with her shield and her guide and her new Legion will things work out in the end and will they find Dorian. To find out you NEED to pick this up its mind blowing everything they go through and with all that steam between them all you wont want to put it down.
GAAAH! Lucy Scott Bryan and her fucking cliffhangers! *chucks a paperback of Amarli at Lucy’s head!* I can’t! I freaking can’t! That evil monster of an author has ruined me AGAIN! I won’t sit back quietly and allow her to torture me like this any longer! *screams!*
Fine...I will but I won’t be happy about it and I’m only doing it because I love this series so much. But mark my words Ms. Lucy I don’t care if I have to fly all the way to your house, you will pay for the emotional distress you’ve caused me! Ten out of ten recommend The Claiming by Amarli Wolfe... just know your Kindle might be thrown a time or two...dozen.
Bloody hell there is so much going on in this book that i dont know where to start? Its flat out 0 - 60 from start to finish. One missing Alpha, bitchy wolves - Annie, A particularly rude Alpha's son, Old mates and new ones and a brownie family the list goes on and on. I absolutely loved Tia (I want a brownie and not the chocolate one lol). Shes a little ball of energy and bossy to boot. I also loved Veda & Nyiall they were chock full of wise cracks and smart comments. We need more of them in any future books please??? Its one hell of a read and i cant praise this series up enough. It was also a killer cliffhanger of an ending!!! Completely floored me!! Dying for the next book now
The Claiming by Amarli Wolf is here and I was totally not ready! I fell in love with these characters and book one and I was so anxious for this release after the cliffy in book one.
Lucy Scott Bryan took us on an emotional roller coaster with this one by chapter 3 I was crying! She pretty much tore my heart out to shove it back in and slowly heal it throughout this story then to shatter me at the end!
Amarli deals with so much in this book from dealing with her new position, going from rejected mate to navigating her 2 new mates plus 2 more potential mates! Girl cannot catch a break!
I cannot wait for March!!! It cannot come soon enough!
Loving this series!! I have been looking forward to reading book 2 after being left at that cliffhanger in the previous btok. Lucy did such a wonderful job with this book, balancing intimacy and support with action and drama. I liked seeing how Amarli adapted and navigated her new position as Centrum. I'm still not 100 percent sure what her role is as Centrum, but at this point neither is Amarli. I like that we are learning as she learns and discovering new capabilities at the same time as her character. Amarli is such a strong and capable fmc but at the same time is understanding, forgiving, and just plain out nice. However, although she is able to protect herself and handle things on her own, it is made known that she doesn't have to do things by herself. Her guys have really stepped up in this book (not that they weren't great in the previous book) and prove to Amarli that they have her, will not leave her, and will always be with her to keep her strong. Even newer characters that are introduced in this book add so much to her team of people that surround her. She keeps such amazing company and their humor and antics add a nice touch to the story. Seeing how everyone around her acts in certain situations as problems arise shows how dedicated and loyal of a team she has. Past problems and current problems blend in this book causing issues that may become more troublesome in the future, and I'm interested to see what direction Lucy takes us and how each problem is addressed. Very much in love with this story and can't wait to read more!
This follow up to The Rejection of Amarli Wolfe was so good! Amarli is coming into her powers and solidifying her connection with her mates. LSB writes strong female main characters and I absolutely love that! Amarli's story is far from over and I'm very excited to see where her adventures take us next. That ending was the definition of KILLER!
First off Lucy I need the next book pronto, I have so many unanswered questions and the next one needs to be twice as long as this one no make it three times as long. Also please don't break any of their hearts I love all the main characters so please spare them. Do the evil things to the evil characters.
Every single page was bone crushing, amazing sauce. I loved every moment and also hated some moments because I needed more. And my also have some noodles thirst for a few characters. You will too once you read it. It keeps you on your toes and you also wish someone with throw down on a few characters. You will not regret reading this book. Except that you when you finish it you want the next book pronto.
Absolutely fantastic continuation. Amarli is such a strong character and her men absolutely adore her. This leaves off right after book one's cliffhanger, and the action is non stop. You get sucked in from the very beginning. We have no idea where Dorian is, if Ker will wake up and how Hewe fits into the picture. It is emotional, well written and although it is insta-love, it is done well. We do get another doozy of a cliffhanger, but I am looking forward to reading the next book.
The second book in this amazing series and it was absolutely the best. I have loved Amarli and her guys since the first book and this one is even better. Amarli has seriously been through a lot and I do mean a lot and I adore that she has not and will not give up. No matter how much is thrown at her and the guys. After the ending on the first book this one did not disappoint at all. Now I absolutely freaking can not wait for the next book because I definitely need to know what's going to happen next with it all.
I need more. Talk about ending it with a bang...I don't know how I will be patient enough to be able to wait for the third book. Gosh darnit, Lucy, you have done it again! So much 🔥 and these characters just pull you in!!! I NEED MORE! Thank you!
LSB did it again with an emotional read with so much action and steam that jumps off the pages. The creativity of the storyline is amazing. Definitely a must read! I’m dying to read the next book. Definitely a top series of 2020 to read!
Loved this one, Was done way to fast and left with the what the heck (not in a bad way) more I have to wait for book three now?!? And that ending dang it Lucy! I follow Lucy on Facebook and she likes to call them dramatic endings not cliff hangers well you get reading then boom! When’s the next one out? Loved loved it
This series is amazing. I was not expecting that cliffhanger but W.O.W it’s making me wish the next book was out like right now. I want to know what happens so bad. Oh well makes the anticipation that much sweeter and exciting. Thank you Lucy.
Soooo much happening!! After the ending of the first book I jumped straight into this and was not disappointed. I just love how things are turning out and cannot wait for the next one.
If you're looking for something different than a instalove story this is for you. It's the second book in the series and picks right back up where book one left off. Consider yourself forwarned of the cliffhanger though. 🙃
HOLY SHIZBALLS I LOVE THIS BOOK! So we have the second book in the series and this book is really really good. It is an emotional book so be ready to cry and laugh. We still learn more about Amarli. She is the chosen Centrum and she still needs to pick her other mates. She still has a long road ahead of her and a lot of people who just wants to get rid of her. Then there is a new guy Hewe, and he is sweet and patient. Oh and not only that, but effing Annie is still causing trouble. There, is a healthy amount of smexiness that happens as well. Can Amarli find Dorian to save his pack? What about her old pack? Will she be able to stay strong or will she break? That ending was insane!!! Lucy how can you do that to us. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
This book picks up right where the last one left off (so you might want to do a re-read). I had so many questions and things that I wanted to know and learn about what's happening to Amarli, but Lucy is smart and keeping some things from you which make you beg for more! We meet lots of new faces and mates as she grows her team. I love that we are learning about Amaril's position with her and it's not just dumped in our laps Lucy makes us work for it. Warning that ending will have you throwing your kindle across the room and ready to summon a demon to get you the next book faster. You hit it out of the park Lucy and I am ready for what you're going to throw at us next!!
Wow this is one heck of a story!!! Lucy Scott Bryan is an amazing author!!! Story was so freaking good!!!! This is book 2 so definitely read book 1 first. This one has one heck of a ending and I need the next one asap!!! I won’t give away any spoilers but you will love this one. Series is so good. Loved it!!!
This second installment to the series is definitely all that and more.
There’s action packed intensity, moments of passion, almost heart shattering scenes that just really helped me as a reader have all the feels just like Amarli is with her new position, her new mates, and everything that is happening to and around her.
Does leave on one heck of a cliffhanger, at right about the time we finally get an answer, and another intense situation.
I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't put it down. The way the characters are written make you feel everything they do, like you are really there. You feel for Amarli and what she is going through with being the Centrum and all those sexy growly men surrounding her ummmm..... yes please! I'll take one of each thank you! Hot damn the heat coming from reading this YUMMO!!! Such a good read, I can't wait for the next book!!!
Soooo Good! This book picks up right after the last one and it takes us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as Amarli tries to figure out what is next in her new position. She fights for her men as well as her self when trouble comes knocking. But OMG......... that ending! 😱😱😩😩 Fabulous book! I cannot wait to find out where the journey takes us in the next book!! 💜🖤
I really loved Amarli in book 1, but in this book she felt a lot more indecisive and angsty to me. In this book Amarli is still trying to fill the remaining 2 mate positions of the Centrum. The guys are all growly and possessive, and tend to treat Amarli like she is helpless and she just kind of rolls her eyes and tells them to stop. We meet Hewe - who I love! I think he and Reggin are my favorite guys so far. I would like to know more about the Centrum and what they are supposed to do and why they are so special. From this is seems like they just mediate situations, but the one “case” seemed kind of trivial and had already been decided by their pack. This book kind of felt like a bridge book. The ending was good in a cliffhanger type way, but it didn’t really feel like much happened or changed for most of the book.
Book two had my emotions running crazy like I'm hormonal, that time of the month teenager one minute another minute I was ready to tear up something in my fear that something horrible was going to happen to Ker, but then he and Mr sexy Puma rocked my soul yin and yang in perfect harmony! I couldn't have handled her choosing or losing one of them! This author has made me feel so much! On bated breath for the next book and Amarli having all 5 mates!
What an epic turn of events that was! Oh, my, goodness, I can't even .... ugh, words are not... How could you leave us hanging like that? Patiently awaiting book 3... Well done!
I would give this 3.5 if it were possible. It's a 4 star book in its characters, but the plot is a bit swamped with overly stilted dialogue and the equally stilted inner voice of Amarli. People don't think in formal vocabulary, and they don't speak between friends by articulating 'It is' and 'I am' and all of those other little words that become contractions like 'it's' and 'I'm' in informal speech. I don't know why, but it makes it really hard to fully sink into the story. And there's too much of it for my liking, talk, talk talk and not enough about the actual problems they're supposed to be resolving. I'll read the next one, because I'm invested in the characters now, but I hope it will be an easier read.
This is book 2 in the series and continues where book 1 ended so you need to have read it first. I really enjoyed it, it's a slower pace than the first with a little less action, but gives you a better understanding of all the characters. Amarli is settling into her new life as the Centrum but she still needs to confirm her center and soul mate. This book concentrates more on Amarli with her mates and inner circle. It shows the relationships building and strengthening, with a few teething problems thrown in. I love the brownie's - can I have some to take home please? This does end on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see where the next book goes.
