He is given another chance and decides to grab onto it with both hands

HEATED is the third book in The Privileged series and continues the story of Layla Adams and Treyton St. James. This installment in the story picks up where the previous book, RECKLESS, ended, with Treyton's arrest. Even though Layla decides to drop the charges against him the judge does not let him off completely without learning his lesson. So Treyton is ordered to do bi-weekly volunteer work for the next six months and he decides that will be at MyPlace. He has decided that he is going to straighten up and get his life back on track, while at the same time proving himself worthy to Layla.
At the same time Layla is still working full time at MyPlace and is surprised when her boss tells her she is leaving after accepting another job offer. But before she leaves she is recommending Layla to fill her position as the Program Director, which Layla is eager to accept. But there is one kink in this, Treyton. She is to be his supervisor once again as he is coming back to the shelter for his volunteer hours. But what happens next surprises Layla even more and also gives her some insight into just exactly the depth of Treyton and what has happened to him.

This book continues with the fast-paced story-line. We get a deeper look into Treyton and get to watch as he and Layla start to get to a better place. Their chemistry is still really high, even as they try to fight it, or at least Layla continues to fight it. For me this third book fell flatter as I found it was too rushed in a couple spots. I was also rolling my eyes at some things and laughed out loud a couple times when I am sure I was not supposed to. But the big issue for me was the lack of proofreading. There were all sorts of issues that were easy to spot and this really aggravated me as it stopped the flow of the story. I am still going to read the rest of this series to see what happens for Treyton and Layla.

♠️♠️ ONE ENGAGING WILD RIDE♠️♠️
Scorching skiddles scooby! Ava whips out one ground shaking rollercoaster with this remarkable thrill, dishing up some fervent facts, callous actions and ruthless drive, launching this hot little number to a whole new level. Mishaps and serendipity descend in a flurry of callous decisions and clever strategy, broken perimeters, blurred lines and scattered barriers solidify as the limitations are explored and expanded, exposing the mischievous quirks and defying bents, fusing this bad boy together flawlessly. Sparks ignite as captivating drama, riveting intrigue, electrifying suspense and intense situations, ensue in epic proportions, kicking this gem into the eye of the storm blowing it into a tailspin with mind-blowing results, bursting this baby to life spectacularly. Illustrating incredible, well rounded scenario's that punch dead center, ramping up the exuberance and gusto with such intensity and precision, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. The characters are authentic and original with qualities and traits that transforms into amazing personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions, as to give you a full understanding and realism that flows smoothly. Remarkable job Ava, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book, it is the third book in The Privileged Series, I do suggest reading in order, does end on a cliffhanger.

Tristan is back at the shelter working for Layla, after all the drama and tension from the previous books, will Layla manage to work out her feelings for Tristan? Will they get a hea?

Fast-paced and quick to read, interesting dramatic novella. Both characters are flawed but definitely relatable.

We are still fully entrenched in the lives of Layla and Treyton. They are still at odds with each other but feel an attraction. Each has issues but those must be put aside if these two will ever be able to be happy.

Settling Their Differences -
Layla and Treyton resolve their differences and embark on a secret affair, whilst Treyton is working for her. Book three has the right balance of drama and heated romance, but Layla’s indecision left me on the edge of my seat, wondering whether she would choose a happily ever after with Treyton. I am really looking forward to reading book four.

Oh my God, I am loving these stories. This is the third book and it's a short novella. Layla and Trenton still rock. It starts right where Reckless ended, so you need to read the previous books. Amazing

Layla didn't want a scandal? Something tells me she's getting one... Oh boy... Darren's going to pull something. I just have a feeling he'd be that petty...
