Absolutely horrible piece of historical fiction masking as a biography.
I use this with my fifth graders as an example of what 'history' books were like when I was their age as well as how opposite from expert the authors are.
Just looking at the cover they immediately note that he has a Spaniel! And European clothes (look at that collar!) that had fringe added on. Not authentic or accurate in any possible way.
