I feel that the author made things more complicated in his wording than it needed to be. When he wasn’t doing so, there was a lot of copy and paste from other books and authors and sermons. Aside from that, I do think much of what he was saying was a bit exaggerated. He has a good point and good reason for sharing his thoughts and concerns for the way of the church. We do need to do a better job to remain reverent and mindful of our faith journeys. The way he goes about getting the message across fell flat upon me.

This book is a mixed bag of great insight and astounding blindness. Well worth reading nonetheless.

Dickie addresses and calls for a return to "true" throne room worship. It's an easy book to read, but the thoughts it generates on the subject of worship are well worth the time to read this little book.
