A book about how your parents will always be there for you. Which is a lovely sentiment, of course, but we're really here for the illustrations. The pictures are super sweet.

As a toddler I enjoyed chewing on my favourite picture books. I'm sure I would have happily chewed on this one.

(Picked up an ARC through NetGalley)

A well loved baby is taken care of well. Holding baby's hand, tucking them at night, and taking a bath. So many ways to take care of baby. A precious picture book to read to your little ones and all the ways they are special.

A special thank you to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

I was granted complimentary access to an eARC of I'll Always Hold Your Hand by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'll Always Hold Your Hand is a cute picture book for very young children. The "story" (no plot, it's a toddler level picture book) is a parent speaking in the first person to their child, telling them everything they do and always will do for their child. The illustrations are absolutely adorable and feature a variety of animals as the "I" and "you" on each page before ending on a human child. It's an absolute joy to look at with such a sweet sentiment. My only critique is that it needs punctuation so we know when a cluster of lines is one sentence or multiple sentences. There's also an illustration where the child is saying "mommy, daddy" but it has been split into "mom my dad dy" to create that sense of stilted talk that's common in the early days of learning to speak, but "mom my" reads as two separate, completely intelligible words and I had to look twice.

I'll Always Hold Your Hand by Guido Van Genechten is a delightful and sweet book perfect for a little one. The simple message of all your needs being cared for is illustrated with animals representing the action that the child experiences daily. On the last page the illustration changes to a lovely image of a sleeping child with a comforting message of love and support with promises to always be there for your child. I think this will become a treasured book and a ideal book to read before bedtime. It would make an excellent baby shower gift. My young son loved the short promises on each page and the adorable illustrations. The simple language and message brings comfort and peace. This is the ideal message to build up your child and help them realize their parents are constants in their life no matter what..

I was provided a free review copy of this book by Net Galley in exchange for my honest review. The opinions shared are my own.

A pleasant lullaby of parental love, as the narrative voice of this tiny little read for tiny little audiences shows that whatever the task, and whatever the cute little animal, the baby will always be loved. And fed, and changed, and played with, and bathed, and mollycoddled, and the parent will always keep their laundry tab thingies in those bloody unopenable boxes just in case the feeding bit left bab a bit too hungry for its own good. Despite my realism, I mean cynicism, this is a nice way to inspire connection from parent to offspring through the pages of a book.

This is a beautiful little children's board book for babies and toddlers, which has cute pictures of baby animals being looked after by their parents, who are showing them how much they care for them and how they will always be there for them. I loved this book, which I read with my daughter. We both loved the baby animals.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This would make for a great baby shower gift. Its short and very simple but the pictures are interesting to look at and my one year old enjoyed looking at it. There are many books on the market that are along the same premise and I own many book with this same content but it is still sweet.

Thank you Netgalley, Guido Van Genechten, and clavis publishing for the free book in exchange for an honest review.

I was given early access to an e-book ARC of I'll Always Hold Your Hand by Guido Van Genechten provided by #ClavisPublishing via #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This cute Board Book was a quick and an enjoyable read aimed at young ones under 2. The pictures were bright and engaging and message meaningful. I gave it a 4 star due to me feeling a need to have a page to introduce the concept was needed to tie all the other pages together.

A oversized board book detailing all the things a loving caregiver does for their child and how they will always do those things (presumably until they can do some of them themselves). Illustrated with big-eyed baby animals, this will be a pleasure for adults to read to the children they love. My only criticism is that the lack of a true title page makes it difficult to find a spot for library stickers!

I thought that this was a lovely little book!

It was easy to read and the illustrations are lovely, I read this one with my daughter and she really enjoyed it. This would be a great first book to read with a young one and a great board book to keep.

Highly recommended – 4 stars from me for this one!

A super-sweet book with adorable pictures showing and telling little ones of parental love. Perfect for the littlest ones and reassuring for older toddlers. This would definitely be a good choice as a sentimental keepsake book to give as a gift at baby showers or to new parents.
