Elisa ha sedici anni e non ha mai mangiato il pollo con le posate. Ha due fratelli e due sorelle che adora, una migliore amica e tanti progetti per le vacanze. Per capire qualcosa di se stessa, tiene un diario, in cui racconta la sua estate di avventure vissute con entusiasmo, imprevisti affrontati con delicatezza e infinite sorprese: una nuova amica a Londra, un piatto di spaghetti piccanti al mare, un viaggio in elicottero nel corso di un fine settimana in montagna e un finto appuntamento, che forse diventerà qualcosa di piú.

Che fare quando un libro ti fa rivivere le sensazione ormai dimenticate di piú di 30 anni fa? Lo leggi e ringrazi l'autrice, che in questo caso sai anche dove trovare, e lasci che una serie di ricordi dolci/amari tornino tutti a galla e ti travolgano per un po' giusto per un po', ma che bello.....anzi, come direbbe il Leopardi: il naufragar m'è dolce in questo mar....
