I used the barcode scan to quickly add this book to my reading list and noticed that while the book came up there isn't anything listed about it. Since I know mine is the same edition, I am going to put the missing info here.

This book was written by Ann Richards.

The back of book description is as follows:
Esther and Philip's parents send them to visit their cousin Martin. They're all set for a boring summer. Then Martin shows them a thing or two about eagles...and poachers.

The book is a short and easy read with six chapters. Soaring Summer is 64 pages and a good read for a young reader. It's not a highly informational book as it doesn't go to deeply into poaching, however there is a light educational value that might spark interest in learning more about poaching or eagles. This book could be a good way to potentially introduce the subjects to a child.
