Men are disposable to Taija “Choc” Bellamy. In her eyes it’s best for women to use them for what they’re good for and then throw them back to the streets. This mindset came into place after the person she loved and trusted unconditionally broke her heart over and over again. Her solution to curing her broken heart was not to have one at all. That doesn’t stop men from trying their hardest to break down those barriers she’s put up though. When she meets record label CEO Supreme she sees him as no different than the rest of her men. Luckily he’s one of the few men that’s on the same no commitment page as her. The more they find out they’re the same, the more they clash when feelings get involved. Will they run scared or embrace “Supreme Love” for the first time?
I enjoyed parts of this story, but as a whole it didn't really move me. I felt like the chapters were too brief and I wasn't able to delve into the emotions of the characters before I have to move on to the other perspective of a completely different scenario. Supreme was almost perfect, but the way he talked to and treated Choc when she had her moment of insecurity was a nonnegotiable for me. I couldn't come back from that and so at that point I wanted the story to end. This was the first book by this author that I've read that I haven't become emotionally attached to the characters or storyline. It wasn't a bad story, at all, I just didn't connect to it.
Supreme Love is such a beautiful story and I absolutely fell in love with Taija & Supreme. They are flawed yet perfect for one another. Their journey to forever is layered with childhood trauma, emotional abuse, fear of trusting themselves and others, and self discovery and healing. I love them!
This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more of her catalog.
That was an interesting read . I like how the author insists on the mental health and how past trauma can dictate the way that you are behaving. Healing is a long process and to see it being detailed in a book is just a lot . Well done
Good mature story and a much needed break from the ghetto, immature back/forth childish stories!!!!! While the writer grew with her story telling I had to knock off stars due to editing. It is imperative as a writer that you invest in a good profit reading and manuscript editor! The story was full of misspelled words and grammatical errors. The author has quite a few books under her so there are no excuses for her and her publisher not to have great editors on the team that can spot these edits and correct them. Editing is what separates the Amazon authors from the national publishers and Time Best Selling List....
O.M.G! This was Supreme reading and deserved more than 5 stars ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨💯💯💯💯💯
MS. Cion Lee, what have you done? What was that?🙈🙌😱🤭 I know you went ahead and put your whole foot in this because it was perfect and deserved more than the 5 stars allocated. This is what romance should be and how love should be. This was, man SUPREME!!!! Taija, Choc, girlfriend you are GOAT baby. Strong, independent, determined, loyal, yet with so much flaws you are the epitome of what a strong black woman is everyday, minutes, and seconds 365 days a year. Sarij, Supreme, you are definitely the Alpha, Beta and Omega and you reign supreme above all. Strong, dependable, loyal, romantic, boss man, you are by far bae and what every man should want and achieve to be in our lives. I know for sure I need a Supreme kind of whatever in my life because BABY.....phew!!!! You are it! This story was soooo good, I read it in a day (only because I had to work, then eat, then cook and clean etc...) I could have finished it earlier because it was that good, that captivating and that entrailed. This is about 2 people not believing that live was yet in their cards even though it yielded from some traumatic events; but fate had its own agenda and put these two together, issues and all and we got ourselves this incredible story. Now don’t get me wrong, except for Julian and Felisha’s story, i haven’t found one book by MS. Lee that I haven’t read and I am still not reading the mess called Julian and Felisha, and yet MS. Lee remains in my top 5 favorite, drop everything author.... thank you, thank you, thank youuuu for this uplifting story and for showing us that love/romance exist as well as soul mate and to just be patient for ours because it’s out there and it’s coming.
Damn I didn’t know that man poked holes in condoms. Dudes trying to trap women i these streets “And you willingly inserted yourself in his circus?” Nisa is me. LOL
Taija’s reaction to Siraj’s family coming over right after she needed the call with his mom was hilarious
“Okay for one I don’t think there should be two dark skin girls in the group” Blackout can suck a diseased dick with is colorist ass
Wonder why the spelling of Carter’s name changed
One of my pet peeves is the phrase “I could care less” it should be couldn’t. If you COULD care less than why don’t you
I love how much Sarij love Taija and changed for the better bc she inspired him too. It took time and fear but Taija is finally working through her issues with Tarell. Speaking of Tarell, I’ve hated him since book one. He’s the worse type of man their is. Thank goodness Sarij is the complete opposite.
Initially with the that’s all me series, the names all starting with the same letter was cute but im so sick of it now. Do people really do that, like for generations. Damn that’s aggy
Saraj aka Supreme and Tajia aka Choc were like 2 ships passing through the night when they met at Supremes birthday party. Two people who were not looking for a relationship have a great attraction to each other so the rest will be history right? While Choc has a couple of guys she see every now and then, Supreme is honest to say he has 4 ladies in rotation. The more time these 2 spend with each other the rotation is between them and this does not make the side kicks happy. Choc will have to buss a few heads, Supreme will have to check a few bro’s because as the public see this new relationship is solid and moved up to the next level and the elevator moves to the top after Supreme asks Choc to marry him. Choc will need to face some childhood painful memories and her family will be right there to help!!!! Fantastic story!
I have been reading your books for years. I usual get them on kindle unlimited but you decided not to do that anymore. I paid the price because you deserve it. I love this installment in the series. Your characters come to life in your books. I have never bean to New Orleans but the way you rep your city I feel I know it. So I am saying 'another one' in my DJ Khalid voice. Can't wait for your next project.
I love the whole grown and sexy vibe of this book. Although, Choc and Supreme were understandably older, wiser, and more mature they were also set in their ways. Supreme and his harem and Choc with her daddy issues. It was a beautiful sight to see them mesh and address their issues in a grown and sexy way! I also enjoyed the glimpses into the lives of the other Bellamy’s. This may just be my favorite sibling group in literature😊
Good book but no climax. Editing non existent. I’m assuming the plot was a girl over coming her daddy issues? Maybe? That wasn’t the focal point until the last two chapters. A lot of unnecessary info with that girl group (skipped over it) wasn’t the wedding December 19th? I hate the incorporation of old characters from other books. We have moved on from them. Love that your folks aren’t drug dealers !
When I first met Supreme and Choc the meeting was superficially wth. And it did not seem as though they were compatible. They both had a full roster of people they dealt with, and were to much alike in situationships. The fact that they eventually meshed was unbelievable. I would have passed on both Supreme and Choc if I pursued them as mates. If I was a man and vise versus. All the T names though-too dang much. The story was pretty interesting. 3.5 stars!
This was an ok story about couple Supreme & Choc and their path to love. Reading this I kept waiting for some big drama, twist, or even a break up to make up but got nothing. Only simple attacks from exes who didn't want to loose their spot in Supreme's life. Supreme is bae for acknowledging that Choc had daddy issues which prevented her from fully trusting him and he stuck with her and didn't leave her when she believed lies from his exes.
This story was so good to read. I really cannot believe that Sabrina kept doing so many things. I seriously thought Supreme was going to make her life hell like he did the other girl. The dad in the story was very pathetic, however there are so many fathers that are absentee in her in our lives that we do grow up with fears, doubts commas and it affects the way we move. I am so glad that she was able to overcome all of that.
This book so amazing it touched my heart and why I say that it's because people that have mommy and daddy issues getting relationship or get married they have a hard time in the marriage because they still haven't faced their daddy and mommy issues this book shows you therapy is okay therapy is okay because that can wait you down your problems in your marriage let it go sometime you have to love people from a distance she did an excellent job on this book.
This story has made it to my favorite list. From the very first page, I was hooked. The chemistry Choc and Supreme’s shared was crazy! I loved them together. I love that Choc wasn't the typical lover girl. She played her part and kept it pushing…until she met Supreme. Supreme was an honest man and he told everyone what was up from the jump. Everything about this story was good. I highly recommend reading it.
I enjoyed this story. Supreme and Choc weren't the relationship type until they met each other. What started out as a fling quickly had these two on a rollercoaster of feelings and fear of being disappointed. I loved how Supreme was all in for Choc, and although it took some time and therapy, I was glad she shared her feelings with her father and gave her all to Supreme.
I read this a few years ago when it was first released. But I decided to go back thru the catalog of this author and I’m glad I did. I don’t remember enjoying Choc and Supremes story this much so it was a win for Mr because it was like reading it for the first time. I knew from her other books that they end up married but the journey wasn’t easy. That childhood trauma can be tricky. Anyway if you was to read a great love story definitely pick this up.
To read about mature couples, with a pinch of drama and fire sexy scenes is a masterpiece. I loved every moment of this book. The good, the bad and the ugly. Well written and I fell in love with Choc and Supreme as a unit. The details are on point and the growth was amazing. The ending my gosh; adorable!
I really enjoyed this book. I loved that they were established had fun and was mature. This book didn't have a lot of conflict which I personally enjoyed. It is nice to read about black love without all the extra drama that is in every book now days. A breath of fresh air. 😁
This story was great. Choc and Supreme were swoon worthy. Everything about this story was beautiful. What intended to be just a hook up turned into a love of a lifetime. Supreme broke down all of Choc’s walls and helped repair all the damage her dad did. I’m so glad Choc let love in and got her HEA! I love the Bellamy siblings.
I enjoyed how the main characters were independent, especially Choc. A lot of books have female leads that are dependent on men to make ends meet, but that wasn’t the case for Choc. I’m happy Choc was able to get closure with her dad, and I appreciate how this book really focused on healing. Wonderful read!
I remember this family from the other books and they were wonderful and so is this book. I love that Taija "Choc" has gotten her own story and met the love of her life. Supreme he's a real boss in every way. Hoping that Talia gets her happy ending 🙏🏾😊. As always it was my pleasure reading this book 🥰.
This author I literally pulls you into the pages of her books the characters seem so lifelike..Her descriptive writing brings her stories to life making you at times happy, sad , mad and definitely parts that make you laugh..my favorite character was Choc she was a emotional roller-coaster Throughout the book but at the end she got her fairy book story ending
Supreme & Choc personality views on Commitment and relationship was so much the same that then could sense each other thoughts feelings which was funny crazy and scary. Both enjoy having a rotating roster, clubbing and living the single life. So glad they finally got together. Love HEA
The title of the book is definitely fitting for the love that these characters share. Upon introduction, there’s so much room for toxicity, but the shocking element of maturity that both characters pushed out was a refreshing vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Finally an AA romance that is healthy, and filled with love and respect. Supreme showed his love to Choc in a way that have her the security to reciprocate. They kept it real with one another throughout the relationship. A breath of fresh air. Great job!!
This was a good read. It's really true that some ppl let their life issues keep them from finding love or even wanting a relationship. I love that Siraj stuck by Choc side regardless and she made want to change his ways.
This book was awesome and bought attention to a necessary issues, like dad’s breaking their daughter’s hearts ♥️ and not introducing their children they chose to have by multiple women. I’m glad love prevails and the necessary help was found.
This book gave me chills!!! It was so relatable. It was so real and I truly enjoyed it. Supreme and Chocs love story will make anybody rethink anything is possible!!!
