You always remember your first love. You also never forget the day she left.
Moving on from losing Haven was hard, but I was young, with my whole life ahead of me. A life that saw a marriage, the birth of my daughter, and then a divorce. Co-parenting isn’t easy, but not much in life is, right? I have a job I love as a high school math teacher and football coach, and raising Chloe keeps me plenty busy. Life is good. I’m content. Settled. Predictable.
Until one day, I look up and come face to face with the one that got away. Haven Decker.
Haven
You always remember the day you break your own heart. You also never forget the man you left behind.
I was young and thought I needed more than life in the small town I grew up in. I walked away from the love of my life for a chance at a career most only ever dream of. I focused on putting one foot in front of the other, creating a life I thought I wanted. It turns out the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. When an injury and a cheating boyfriend bring my world to a halt, one phone call has me packing up and heading back to the one place I never thought I would return to.
I knew I would run into him, but I don’t know if I’m ready to face him. Sebastian Hall.

SIMPLY ADORABLE! From page one until the sweet epilogue, I was grinning ear to ear. While this is on the shorter side (really more of a novella), I was swept away by the charm of this second chance romance. All the happy feels, all the butterflies, with the perfect balance of tender sweetness and swoony steam.
Haven, the long absent Broadway dancer whose rather abrupt fall from grace has her returning home to small town Idaho to teach dance for her recovering former teacher. Of course, this means she’ll cross paths with her high school sweetheart, resident heartthrob and foxy math teacher, Sebastian, who also happens to be a divorced father to the scene stealing Chloe, now one of Haven’s ballet students. 14 years later, they find themselves in the same place again- only their lives have changed drastically. The only thing that hasn’t? Their love for each other. That they are at home only when they are together.
Even though this story is short, I still felt such a connection to both characters. Haven is endearing and sweet-she’s a mild natured and low maintenance heroine, despite all of the drama her life had prior to this story. I loved that she was so clear on what she wants, and how easily she adapts to her new ambitions. And Sebastian- a sexy dad who effusively professes love for and pursues the one that got away because he wanted her to pursue her dreams? OH.MY.SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOON. He’s just so sweet and caring- an amazing dad and a transparent, low drama, and compassionate leading man. My heart melted for him. But little Chloe just stole the whole show- if you love precious but sweet kiddos who give all the cute little romance nudges, you’ll just adore her.
Lacey and Kayley always tell stories that lift my spirits- stories that make me smile and my heart soar. Romances that aren’t overly angsty, but rather blissfully uncomplicated, that are sweet and natural, with chemistry and connections that are effortless and endearing. With characters that find their equilibrium, find HOME in their easy love of one another. Even if it took until their second chance to make it happen. This novella is a happy, warm, and sincere charmer!
the authors packed a lot of romance into a tiny book of 124 pages. while the romance developed really quickly, the second chance trope worked well with it. haven and sebastian had a past together but she left for julliard when she was accepted and became a brilliant ballerina. the connection between haven and sebastian only strengthened with time after realising how much they still miss and love one another. chloe, sebastian's young daughter, is adorable and charming which sped up the whole plot as well since she easily accepted haven into her life. without hesitation, sebastian knew he will try everything to tempt haven to stay at their hometown instead of returning to the big city. also, haven readily prevent any misunderstandings. overall, really enjoyed it even though it's short.
Home to You by Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black is a quick read that was a sweet and charming second chance romance. I loved the characters and their story so much. Sebastian and Haven were high school sweethearts who loved deeply. But life led them in different directions and Haven walked away to follow her dreams. Now she is back and everything has changed, except their chemistry and connection. Is this finally their chance? A definite must-read!
I always love reading books by these authors as I love there style of writing and the I love when they both write together as they are magical ladies. This book is a very quick read a novella and is a real second chance romance read.
Sebastian is a good guy and is a single dad to his daughter. When Haven left it nearly broke him and he has never really got over her but he desperately wanted her to follow her dream and do what she loved. He is a school teacher and he does a lot for the school and everything he can to give his child the best start in life. Haven left town to follow her dreams only everything didn't quite work out how she wanted and now that she is back and finally doing something that she loves teaching dance things are different. When she sees the love of her life from years ago they both get the shock as neither were expecting to see each other.
I did enjoy reading about these characters and I enjoyed following there journey I actually wished this was a full length book because I though that this story flowed through and wanted more of them. The way that these authors write together so in- sync with each other is amazing and I always one click there books together because once they both start writing a story they will hook the reader right into it. I cant wait to see what these authors bring out in the future.
Home to You is a second-chance at first love romance that reunites high-school sweethearts, Sebastian Hall and Haven Decker. Haven walked away from the love of her life ten years before when she graduated high school and left for New York to pursue a career as a dancer. She’s back in her hometown of Hope, Idaho nursing an injury and a bruised ego, and she’s helping out her childhood dance instructor. Sebastian never left their small town. He’s the coach of the high school football team and a teacher there. He’s also a divorced, single father to his adorable four year old daughter, Chloe.
This is a very fast-paced story, but it was full of all those sweet nostalgic feelings. Haven and Sebastian never stopped loving each other, and their reunion was just so easy and so natural leaving no real choice but for them to pick up where they left off. Neither of them forgot what they had, and even though they were so young, they knew, both back then and now, that theirs was that special, once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. It’s all still there, simmering between them. All the love they shared, all the attraction and the longing for each other. It was so obvious that they belonged together, and thankfully, it didn’t take long for them to find their way back.
I devoured Home to You in a couple of hours. Bash and Have’s second chance love story made my heart happy and kept a smile on my face the whole way through. A super quick read, I enjoyed everything about this charming, engaging and steamy romance. Home to You by Lacey Black and Kaylee Ryan gets 4.5 smooches from me! ~ Danielle Palumbo
This book is adorable and sweet from the very start! Even though this is a novella it is packed full of sweet moments, emotions and romance.
Sebastian is a single father to the most adorable little five year girl. Haven is back in her home town after 15 years of being away living her dream as a ballerina in New York. When Sebastian and Haven see each other for the first time after all those years apart you can still feel the chemistry between them and all the love that they have for each other. I loved how easily they fell back into their relationship with each other.
This story will leave you feeling good from the start. There is no drama. Chloe, Sebastian’s daughter, is absolutely adorable will capture your heart. Sebastian and Haven’s relationship is one that was always meant to be and you can feel it.
If you’re looking for a single father, second chance, small town romance this is one to read!
Home To You by Kaylee Ryan & Lacey Black is a second chance at love romance read that is sweetly beautiful. It's just a fun and light hearted romance yet too short. This is Haven and Sebastian's story. They were high school sweethearts and something happened that caused them to break up and fast forward 12 years later, Haven is back in town from NYC. Sebastian had married someone else, had a kid abd divorced- is now single. Haven is single as well. These two never got over each other. Can they give love another chance ? The steam is good between them, the chemistry is sizzling and the plot is entertaining. Just wish story was longer. Overall good read.
This was such a fun quick read that left my heart feeling so full. I loved everything about this sweet, sexy and emotional, second chance love story. I really love it when Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black write together and this book is no exception.
This was a fast-paced but this little novella is packed with all of the things I've come to expect from this writing duo; heart, emotional connection, the right amount of sizzle and angst. Home To You delivers it all. Haven and Sebastian love story ticks all my boxes for an entertaining must read from one of my favourite writing duos.
This story is just what my heart needed. I fell hard and I fell fast for Bash, Haven, and Chloe. I fell into this story and couldn’t put it down! Second chance romances are my favorite. And I just one this story!!! It’s everything Ms. Ryan and Ms. Black are known for. And exactly what I’m always looking to read!
What a sweet story about two people, Sebastion, single dad to Chloe, and his ex Haven, as they meet once again and reconnect! I fell in love with all the characters, especially Chloe!
You don't want to miss out on this story, that this amazing duo of Kaylee and Lacey! 5 stars grab it asap!
Sweet Novella about second chances. Fifteen years apart. Hope, Idaho, is a small town, everyone knows everything, if you sneeze loudly enough, you’ll be blessed.
Bash is the head football coach of the Hope Tigers and also teaches high school Maths. “Hot teacher.” I smile. “I’m sure your female students love you.” “Some of them are so over the top, and they don’t care who knows it. I swear, I worry about their home lives.” “Meh. Most of them are just horny teenage girls with a hot teacher fantasy”.
Sebastian Hall is the poster child for tall, dark and handsome. When she left, he was a boy, now, Sebastian is all man.
Co-parenting with his ex-wife, Trina who is recently engaged, he picks up his daughter Chloe for her ballet class. Mrs. Simone, the ballet teacher fell and injured her hip and she must now have surgery. One of her students is substituting, at which time he comes face to face for the first time since high school, since post-graduation when she left their hometown for Juilliard to pursue her dream of dancing, breaking his heart in the process. Haven Decker was his first girlfriend—his first everything—until it was time for her to go to Juilliard. Leaving him behind. “Sebastian,” she says, gaping at me from across the small room. I close my eyes for the briefest second, yet my mind fills with images of a time gone past. Haven wrapped in my arms, telling me she loved me more than anything, wanting to start our adult life together as soon as we graduated. Then the acceptance letter came. The one that took her three-quarters of the country away, never to return to the small Idahoan town. Until today. Haven Decker is back, and more gorgeous than ever before.
Keeping her laser focus on the class, on the little girls who are here to learn to be ballerinas—every little girl’s dream. It was her dream, one that was a reality. She’s made sacrifices for her career, reflectively, there are some things she wishes she would have fought harder for. Sebastian. She regrets not fighting for them. They were young and in love, and despite the odds of the distance between us, she should have fought harder. Her greatest regret - walking away from him. They had their future planned, and then she got the letter that changed the fabric of their lives.
For thirty minutes, I feel eyes burning the back of my head, but I refuse to turn around. I’m not ready to face him, to face our past. “Ladies, you did an amazing job. Thank you for being such great students,” I praise them.”
“Thank you, Miss Haven,” they singsong, as she lets them know that their hard work makes her happy.
Trina and Sebastian met nearly seven years ago in the ER. They dated, and she ended up pregnant. They got married and tried to make their marriage work for the sake of Chloe, but they divorced two years ago, realising they were better as friends and co-parents, both wanting the best for their daughter. She’s actually engaged to a nice guy.
It was admirable reading that despite being divorced, Trina and Sebastian maintained a high level of respect and friendship for each other...setting an exemplary standard for Chloe.

Such a sweet sexy small-town romance that will leave you giddy and swoony for this second chance romance full of heart.
Sebastian and Haven were inseparable in High School. They had big plans and a future that was in the palm of their hands until Haven got a letter sending her across the country to pursue her dream and leaving Bash back in the small town in Idaho with all their future plans squashed, leaving him with a broken heart.
Haven is back in town now - and even though she knew she would probably run into Sebastian - she never excepted to find him at her dance class with his precious little girl. The chemistry and pull are still there between the two of them. She was so naive in thinking she could ever put him out of her mind. But can she start something up again with the boy now man she never forgot? Can she open her heart to the pain it would cause if she didn't stay?
I loved Haven and Bash together. They were through the roof hot together and the love that never stopped between the two of them is palpable. And Bash's little girl steals the show. My heart was full anytime she interacted with Haven and her matchmaking skills had me in stitches.
I absolutely adore Lacey Black and Kaylee Ryan. Together or apart they are absolute fire and a must read for me. They write sweet, sexy, swoony, unforgettable love stories and y'all this new release is all kinds of special. Packed with all of the feels and one beautiful second chance, single dad journey, they hit all of my marks with this beauty.
Home to You is Sebastian and Haven's story and what a story they had. They once had it all until they let it slip away. Now she's back in town after living out her dreams and he is still her game changer after all this time. He wants her to stay and this single dad will do everything he can to get her to stay for good this time.
If you like a feel good romance then this is an absolute must read. Fast and sweet and all kinds of steam.
This is a sweet second chance romance that gave me everything I needed. Kaylee and Lacey are a dynamic duo when they come together to write. I love their books separately and it's wonderful to see two of my favorite authors combine their skillsets.
Sebastian and Haven were high school sweethearts who went their separate ways after college and recently reunite years later. Each had taken a different path with life, while Sebastian got married, had a child and divorced; Haven pursued her love of dance. When destiny brings them back together there is no denying the love that was always there. I truly adored these characters and this book of true love and second chances.
Words cannot express how much I adored this second chance romance! It had such an amazing flow and the feels! Once I started it, I could not put it down and devoured it in one sitting. Black and Ryan just have this magic when they write together and their stories are always so full of emotion, passion and amazing storyline. With Home to You, Sebastian always thinks of the one that got away. Haven regrets leaving that one all encompassing love behind to follow her dreams. When these two collide once again, you can feel that love never left either of them. With Chloe, Sebastian’s daughter, as the catalyst, that passion flys again and neither of them can fight it. It was raw, beautiful and so emotional but it was sheer perfection. Overall, this is such a stunning second chance romance story. It has all the feels, not much of the drama and so much love. I highly recommend this one!
Home to You is a very sweet, quick read. I love a book that has a single parent, and second chance storylines are my jam. I liked the characters a lot~ Sebastian and Haven were very cute together, and I really liked Sebastian's daughter, Chloe. There really wasn't any drama in this short novella, which was what I was looking for, but I would have liked a little bit of conflict. But Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black are go-to authors when I just want a sweet read, and Home to You certainly fit that bill.
Home To You is a standalone 2nd chance story that has all the feels. Ryan & Black are a one click duo for me that this story cements it.
Sebastian is a single Dad to his little girl Chloe and has possibly the best co parenting relationship out there. When his high school sweetheart returns to town the connection is still there and kicks off the moment they utter each other’s names. Haven has walked away from it all and returned home, the one place that she can be herself.
I personally enjoyed this story, it was the perfect 2nd chance story that had me smiling throughout.
I adore this duo. It's like with every book they put out it get sweeter and sweeter. This was a very fast read filled with so much swoon and all the feels that I did not want to out it down.
Haven and Sebastián deserved a second chance. I loved Chloe and how easy his relationship is with his ex is. It was so easy to read this since there was no drama, just a lot of funny banter and love so big it made my heart sing.

This book is everything I have come to expect from Kaylee Ryan when I open one of her stories. This is a terrific second chance romance. This story was sweet, sexy second chance romance. Haven returns to her hometown and her past meets her head on in the form of an ex-love. Sebastian is a single dad of Chloe who happens to be in the class of his former high school sweetheart. This was a really great quick read that gives all the feels. ~Helen
This was an excellent story. Sebastian is a hot single dad and Haven, the one who got away, is back in town. The love they had for each other is still there and there's no denying it. This story is fast paced with the right amount of romance and steam. Add in the cutest little girl and a refreshing healthy co-parenting situation and you have yourself a great, quick read. I definitely recommend! ~Andrea
What a wonderful short second chance story. This book has left my heart so full with all the wonderful characters, their rekindling of their relationship and all the feels. I loved how Haven was following what she thought was her dream only to realize what was truly her dream. The authors did a great job writing this one and booking the reader in and not letting me go until the end with a smile on my face.
Such a wonderful read. My only complaint is this story was too short. Haven & Sebastian are such likable characters. These authors sure can write a sweet & $exy story that will pull you in, keeping you fully entertained. There was the right amount of snippets from their past relationships to give us a look at them before & not over done. I loved reading about Sebastian’s life as a teacher, coach & dad. The whole story was just wonderful. I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
I loved this book so much! It was a short read but utterly adorable and sweet! I love second chance romance and this was one of my favorites! Haven and Sebastian were perfect together! I love how Haven got along with Chloe and became her friend. I love how Sebastian was unrelenting in his dedication to Haven and ensuring they finally got their HEA after years apart. I'm thrilled Haven finally got her full happiness with her Bash!
You always remember your first love. What happens when she comes back after all these years?
Wow! Such a beautiful love story! Haven is sweet, loving, and kind. Sebastian is sexy, determined, and dependable. These two characters together are absolutely exquisite! Such a beautiful story of love, devotion, and second chances that you absolutely must read! 5 easy stars!
PI love it when these authors come together. This was a super sweet second chance. High-school sweethearts, whose dreams took them in opposite directions. When fate steps in and brings them together again. It was a drama free , not even baby mama drama.. infact it was a perfect example of what parents who divorce with kids should be.
this was the cutest thing in the entire world. I already love Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black is new to me but goodness i loved this book, haven and Sabastian have a second chance at love and making there way back to one another, I know I've said it before but goodness it was cute, and hot as well because it wouldn't be a romance without a little steam.
Second chance romance, with a cute pixie thrown in for good measure? You can't go wrong with that! Haven and Sebastian's story is a beautiful, swoon-worthy HEA that will make your day! Definitely goes to the top of my list of must reads for this year!
Haven and Sebastian were high school sweethearts, who were separated by life, and dreams that pulled them in opposite directions. Now life has thrown them back on the same path, at least temporarily, and they've each got to decide what to do with that. Do they continue on with their individual lives, chasing their dreams, or do they grab hold of each other, finding out what might have been, and if it might still be?
I adore the stories by each of these authors, as well as the ones they have written together. Home to You is on of my favorites, and absolutely everything I've come to love about their books. A beautiful, fun story, loveable characters, and a HEA that makes you swoon. What more can you ask for?!?
