Eloise is a paramedic. After she is bitten, she somehow gets involved in the supernatural world and pairs up with Jason, a vampire to fight evil.

Everything about the description of the series was right up my street however, I have found myself getting slightly confused in some occasions, having to reread a page to figure out what I'd missed.
The writing is more grown up than I'm used to, and actually, it was a breath of fresh air.
I found the character development a bit strange at times. I would have wanted a little more in depth description of how Jason and Eloise felt about each other or more insight into the vampire's past.
I finished the last book last night and it was my favourite out of the 3 by a mile. There was a clear villain and the introduction of Ambrogio really spiced things up and really kept me on my toes throughout.

If you enjoy dark fantasy then this series may well be for you. Persevere through the first 2 books because the last one will be worth your while 😊

I got this book from Voracious Readers Only for a honest review. I only read the first book but I don't think I'll be able to read the second and the third book as it just wasn't for me. I like the research JN Moon put in towards the book talking about the different paranormal creatures. I like the relationship between the two characters it's friendly yet romantic to. The two main characters Eloise is a hunter , and Jason is a vampire. If you like the TV show called Blood Ties, you will like this.
