Earth's point of view of the events in Impact Titan.

It is interesting to get Earth's view of the events that occurred in Impact Earth and to get the explanation for the rogue asteroids. Blane turns out to be an operative trying to uncover the secret of Cross, the conglomerate leader who may be behind the asteroids (directly or indirectly). The spectre of AI and self replicating and self aware combat drones makes an appearance and we learn why Sara was found in the pod. The book works as a stand alone, but means so much more when read with Impact Titan. A great binary read.

I had a very hard time with the style of the writer and so I abandoned reading the book about mid-way. I just could not follow the story that seemed to jump around. I could not keep the characters straight.

Started well, but plot deteriorates.

The writing style feels as though its aimed at a young audience. Plot starts well, but gets a bit wishy washy as you progress, and the ending feels a bit weak.

The other half of the "Impact" story line. And a totally ending.

Surprisingly free of technical errors, too. I enjoyed the story right up until the ending.
