Well, book three goes a little further into the weird with Jean's story. The pack has been living on the French Riviera for the last two years and they have decided it is time to move on and find a more wolf friendly place to live. Jean has a contact that may be able to help them find a pack that will let them move into their area. He has also been suddenly contacted by the paranormal dating agency that first brought him to his new pack when he thought Melanie may be his mate. They have another match for him and she is willing to journey from the US to meet him. Jean is suspicious and becomes more so when he realizes that the woman is human and he specifically asked for a wolf shifter. He also thinks he recognizes her from the fiasco with Melanie's former husband and the vampire hive.

Lara is a vampire thrall and she has been waiting for her chance to even the score with the vampire hunter and the wolves. She finds the vampires to be superior to wolves and humans even though she is expected to service any member of her hive. Her handler has ensured that he can track her and sends her off to seduce Jean and lead him to his death. She can tell him she escaped her vampire captors and is trying to find a werewolf to protect her. She has changed her name to Nora in case Jean knows who Lara is.

I won't spoil the story. Lara will have her hands full with Jean and his psychotic friend and former lover, Benji. She may find herself doubting her handler and her thrall existence. Maybe.

She was sent to lure him into a trap!

Jean has been in the Riviera for the last two years with his small pack hiding from a hive of Vampires that is determined to kill them. They have decided that they have been there long enough and need to move before they are tracked down. Jean leaves to meet up with his old “friend” Benji in Eastern Europe to try and find a place to move that won’t be infringing on another packs territory. Jean had signed up with the Paranormal True Mate Dating Agency 2 years before and had never been sent a match so he had pretty much given. Somehow the vampires learned that he was signed up with them and they sent their Thrall, Lara, to lure him into a trap so they could kill him.
Lara arrives in Eastern Europe to meet Jean for their date. Jean is suspicious because they would have never matched him with someone from a different continent. He plays along until he figures out who she is. It doesn’t take him long to figure out what is going on, especially since everywhere they go a group of vampires suddenly shows up to kill them. So far they have lost. As Lara starts to realize that the things she has been told about Jean and werewolves in general are not true, she also starts to care for Jean. Jean also falls for Lara, even though he knows what she is up to. Will they survive the vampires so they can spend the rest of their lives together?

Another fun read in this series where paranormal creatures meet their true loves through a dating app or do they in this case it may have not been the original plan but that is how it ended A fun read that flows well with plenty of twists and turns you will not want to put it down once you start reading it.

We have met Jean in a previous book he is the leader of a small wolf pack trying to exist while a hive of vampires try to wipe them out he knows that they have been in the Riviera for to long and it is time to move but while he is trying to find somewhere new for them that won't have them infringing on another packs territory he is supposedly matched by the Paranormal True Mate Dating Agency but he is suspicious. He should be Lara has been sent by the vampires she is a thrall of theirs and she is supposed to lead Jean to his death As she spends more time with Jean she realises what she has been told about the wolf shifters from the vampires is wrong Will jean trust her when he learns the truth and what about the fact that they are really falling for one another Can they have a future You will have to read to see

History sorta repeats itself for the wolves in this story but the twist is surprising.

Jean and Lara are the leading characters in here, and they are definitely something else.
If you've read the last book then you would of read about Jean and the type of character he was but, in here you get a more detailed insight of him. I sure wasn't expecting the surprises his character turned out to be. I had his life pictured differently but enjoyed reading his story.

Jean, a werewolf who is also a vampire hunter was married to a human wife. But they were attacked by vampires and Anna was killed. After a while, he joined a werewolf pack led by Melanie. But the pack had to move from where they were to a new safe place, especially to protect young Michael. He meets Lara, a vampire thrall who is sent to bring him to the vampire hive. But things change. And then there is Benji to deal with too. Lots of vampires. A caring werewolf. Tracking. Danger. Enjoyed this one.

Whoa, Amelia Wilson knocked me on my little buttinski with this book. All the twists and turns. The planned betrayal by Lara that may or may not have happened (thought I'd slip, huh? Nope). I learned more about Jean in this book, which was great. But I think everyone will like the ending. Even if it's not what they expected. I can see everyone now...WHAT? 😨
So, remember if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.

redemption

Assassin Wolf's Betrayal is book three in the series Paranormal True Mate Dating Agency by author Amelia Wilson. So far this one is my favorite- Jean finally gets his ..... and Lara gets hers. Oh and Benji well he’s a character all to himself - difficult and a bit scary (heck who am I kidding, he’s a nightmare but a alluring one).

Jean is getting more and more involved in the pack even if does not want to be a part of it. His history is revealed in this book and explains a lot about his eccentric ways.

Lara is a thrall but she surprises you in the end.
Then there is Benji, I do not even know where to start with him.

These books are easy to read and are entertaining.

Being fake

Jean and Lara/Nora story takes you through twist and turns throughout their story with like Bengi that helps them out when they're running from the Vampires and trying to find a new home for Iran's pack. It will keep you on the edge of your seat while reading this book to the end.

It was ok but not what I expected at all. What happened 2 anna, I guess that was her name in the beginning? He did a good thing buying trying 2 keep his pack safe from harm. But what is the deal with his ex lover? He doesn't look rt at all. And it's strange about what she does and how she tried 2 feel, like it's a twisted up feelings that has 2 b tested.

Revenge and love intertwine to bring werewolf Jean and vampire thrall Lara together. He is convinced she is trying to run from the vamps. Good thing he has a good "friend" watching his back. Her big eyes don't fool everyone.

Another enjoyable story in this intriguing series. So many secrets and lies in this story, ensure that the main characters are kept on their toes throughout. Jean and Lara’s story is quite different from the first two books, but still keeps your interest from start to finish.

This story is about Revenge, hate, love and acceptance. Se have it all. It all starts with a quest for Revenge against the werewolfs but the vampires migth have made a mistake with the One they sent. Will they get past all the hate and get a chance at real love ir Will they burn each other. It os a very Nice book. The main charecters aren't your tipical Heroes.

The main characters are not your typical hero/heroine. It’s makes you wonder where the author is going with these characters. There’s no trust between the two of them, in fact she’s out to betray him. Slowly, very slowly the feelings between them start to change. There’s a lot of emotions in this book: regret, anger, devotion, revenge, but the best of all all is redemption and love.
