Looking for something a different from the talented Jordan Leger, this one is not for the faint hearted.
Zander is a man on a mission after he meets little bird, who happened to have trespassed on his property. Now he wants her and will do anything to have her in his life.
Braelyn is a girl who keeps being grounded at the age of eighteen. With her daddy one of the local cops she knows right from wrong, it’s just she does not make the right choices.
When she wakes up in a cage, she knows she needs to escape. When she looks at the handsome monster who has taken her – if only he had asked her out in the first place, she might have gone with him willingly.
I cannot wait for the next book. Enjoyable to the last page.

You have to be patient and remember well
The reason I give 1 star even though the story deserves more is that the author makes readers to wait years for the sequel…..Why?
It is not fair to the readers and you are obliged to read book 1 again to refresh your memory.
Book 2 will be released in 2023 but when exactly?

Wowzers! This story is... I'm in awe of the story--the writing--the characters. It is very dark, and I am adding a kidnapping and abuse warning, but it's well played out. I'm definitely looking for more Leger books!
