The stories are set in Chicago neighborhoods, including Little Village, Pilsen, Lawndale, North Halsted, River North, and Chicago’s Loop. The lifelike characters include men who are desired and the men who want them. In the most recent edition of “Panhandler Tales,” the short stories are "Wheelchaired Panhandler," “ The Handsome Panhandler,” “The Panhandler and the Cruiser,” and “The Liquor Store Panhandler.” "Wheelchaired Panhandler," the most recent addition to the collection in 2022, tells of an unexpected meeting and romance of two men from very different worlds. “ The Handsome Panhandler” involves a growing friendship complicated by physical attraction. All four of the stories involve street life adventures enhanced with sexual attraction and desires. Every story in “Panhandler Short Stories” is categorized as gay fiction.

Three short stories about men who are interested in the panhandlers on the city streets. Each panhandler and each one of his admirers has an interesting story of his own. All three stories are well-developed adventures. You will never look at a panhandler the same. Highly recommended.
