An alien assassin. A tempting human female he can’t resist. But what can a killer offer to the woman he longs to claim?
Avery Watson moved to Denver to escape her controlling mother. Sure, it’s not easy, and she has to budget every penny, but it’s honest work. Plus, her new friends don’t care if she doesn’t wear makeup, don’t glare at her if she laughs too loud or snorts, don’t judge her if she geeks out about books and games. For the first time, she’s content.
And then she meets the tall, long-haired, sexy as sin Hunter Coleman.
This powerful, mysterious man isn’t the sort that small, freckled, awkward women like Avery usually attract. But apparently one slice of cherry pie is all it takes to draw his attention to her. Now his dark, intense eyes follow her every move. She should be worried, but he makes her feel safe. He makes her feel…wanted.
Yet Hunter is even more dangerous than he seems, and he’s not a man at all. He’s a red-eyed alien assassin with claws, fangs, and a tail, a ruthless warrior with a shadowy past who wants Avery to be his. He’s everything Avery should fear—he’s everything she desires. And he’ll stop at nothing to make her his lifemate.
There’s just one problem—he’s not the only alien targeting her, and his rivals don’t seem to have Avery’s best interests in mind.

”She was...his obsession. His thoughts were consumed by her, his every breath was taken for her, his entire body yearned for her.”
This story is an addictive mix of romance, action, and sci-fi that kept me hooked from start to finish. Fyran, a former assassin, was sent to Earth with strict orders to find a human female to mate with and have a child, but he hates the idea and has been resisting it ever since. Instead, he hunts other aliens, following his own code and trying to do what he feels is right. Everything changes when he tracks a few suspicious aliens to a small café and meets Avery. She’s independent, strong, and has been living on her own for two years after escaping a controlling family. From the very first moment they meet, there’s an undeniable spark between them. I loved how the story lets their connection simmer and grow, creating this incredible slow-burn tension that made every interaction feel electric.
Avery quickly senses that Fyran is hiding something, and when she’s almost kidnapped by dangerous aliens, he swoops in to save her. Later, he finally reveals his true alien form, and that’s when the story gets even hotter. Fyran is fiercely protective, endlessly supportive, and treats Avery like a queen, while Avery’s courage, independence, and heart make her equally compelling. Watching them grow closer and finally give in to their feelings was such a satisfying payoff, and the chemistry between them is off the charts.
The action is intense and had me on the edge of my seat, especially toward the end, but the romance is just as gripping. I loved how the story balances high-stakes suspense with emotional depth, tender moments, and plenty of heat. When Fyran and Avery finally come together, it’s steamy, passionate, and completely satisfying. My only small critique is that the story felt a little too long for my taste and could have been a bit shorter, but even so, I honestly couldn’t put it down and loved every single page of it.

"You're mine, vaerina. I was a fool to think I could live without you."
"You're mine, vaerina. And I am yours. All that I am, for better or worse…..I belong to you."
This book wss LONG! Much longer than I’m used to reading nowadays, as I’ve gotten used to devouring instalove novellas, but it was worth it. It built up a story, developing two awesome hurting, broken and wounded characters that I was rooting for and couldn’t wait to see them find their HEA together. I absolutely loved the hero. I fucking love a good stalker romance and this was stalker alien romance, so bonus! And he does ACTUAL stalking, not some of the light-weight pseudo stalking in other romances. Aghhhh the hero melted my heart!! He has been orphaned as a child and left to survive on his own, so he was emotionally shut down and he didn’t understand all these crazy intense feelings he was having for the heroine—I loved his adorably confused obtuseness!
And SWOON, he was a virgin. Hadn’t ever touched another woman, had barely masturbated and also, for some reason which wasn’t really explained, he hadn’t ever actually released his seed. The one teensy weensy complaint I have about the book is that NEITHER the hero or the heroine ever know that they’re each others one and only—were told thru their POVS that they’ve never had sex, but they never tell one another and I felt like that was a huge loss of intimacy—knowing that they only belong to one another would only deepen and intensify their bond and yet it’s never explored.
But even with that aggravating miss, the story was intriguing, the writing was smooth and the spice was FUUUEEGOO!!
Yeah there were a couple moments where I wanted to bitch slap the heroine (“no, cabrona! You’re NOT going back to your shitty rundown apartment when you have technologically advanced aliens on your ass and trying to kidnap you”) but overall, she wasn’t annoying and she saw reason quick enough. She gets really pissed at the hero when he gets scared of their emotional bond and he ghosts her for a week. She definitely should’ve made him grovel more. This was a missed opportunity. But just the fact this is a sci-fi with a virgin heroine, is enough for me to give props since it’s so rare in the genre (unfortunately).
Safe. Dual virgins. No others. No cheating. There’s lots of action, with a few possible triggers (human trafficking and on page kidnapping and violence.) heroine is kidnapped and physically assaulted but no sexual assault. HEA with epilogue. HEA isn’t that far out and I would’ve liked a longer epilogue or extended one showing where they end up and what happens with them.
Fyran was a dramatic MMC who took possessiveness to new levels and I love it. This definitely had grumpy/sunshine vibes and Avery helped balance out some of Fyran’s intensity.
Spice:4/5
Triggers: attempted abduction, SA (groping ass), violence, verbal/emotional abuse and neglect from parent
I enjoyed the series as a whole but I don't know if I liked this one that much. Fyran is hot and cold with Avery, stalks her (which was hot, but also creepy?), and then ghosts her for a week, and then saves her....mmmmmkay. Avery has a lot of character development the last 20 pages, which was great to read. I love a girl who can stand up for herself. But she's also young and naive..
It took me a while to finish this. It's a really long book for no real action, there's too much monologue and not much interaction between the main characters for like 2/3 of the book.

My first foray into Tiffany Roberts territory was with that terrible book about shadow sex, His Darkest Craving. Then I read book 2 in this series, Claimed by the Alien Bodyguard, which was sweet and actually enjoyable. I was hoping that meant they had improved. NOPE.
Don't get me wrong, so much stuff was great! Angsty alien mars-needs-women hero who doesn't believe in his own self worth, cute heroine with no body issues, cat...
So what was wrong? 1. Hero was the freaking best assassin of assassins. We were told this a freaking 50 billion times. I did not see a shred of evidence of this. His few reconnaissance missions were like watching a train wreck in slo-mo, not a good way to introduce a hero like this. 2. Hero struggles with strange anger issues and other strange bodily functions that are just never explained - WHY couldn't he ejaculate before? Is that actually of any significance? I get why he was so angry, but it was disproportionate. Or was that his inner beast? ANSWERS. 3. Inner dialogue. OMG the inner dialogue. SO repetitive. So BORING. 4. Strange inconsistencies, or perhaps TSTL moments of heroine. "omg I know I just got kidnapped by aliens, and you're literally the only thing that can keep me safe, but I'm just gonna be crazy and try to stay in my completely unsecured apartment all by myself because embarrassment" - I know others have stated the guy is a perv, and he is (and that is delicious in fiction, lol), but at this point her reasons were purely based on embarrassment. Also, she was angry with him for abandoning her for a week even after he said his reason was to keep her safe, and she even accepted that at first, and then turned around and became angry? It seemed like the authors were gonna go the other route first and changed their minds but kept the fight. 5. UGH, the amount of times we've had to listen to the hero agonising about revealing his nature, only for the whole thing to be done with in 5 minutes? How anticlimactic. 6. The sex. No. Just no.
Anyway sorry but I DNFed at the first sex scene because I just couldn't read any more internal dialogue and repetition, or watch the hero continue bumbling around daydreaming about his mate while in mortal peril...
I was a bit disappointed in this one to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I dig alien romances but maybe I've just read too many because this just didn't hit with me.
For one thing the believability within this world was so off. We're told he was the best of the best assassins but saw little to no evidence of it up until the very end. He did some reconnaissance missions and some stalking but made so many bumbling mistakes that I could not take it as we were meant to.
The length. I think a third of this book was inner monologue and drama that just were either extremely repetitive or inconsistent with previous resolutions in the plot. For example, there were several things the MC did that the FMC acknowledged was messed up but forgave him for just to turn around and act like an immature brat over a chapter or two later.
There were a few other things that I think could have been done better like the reveal to her, and a more believable reaction from her friends/coworkers when she disappeared, but I digress.
Looking now it seems like I had similar problems with another of their books (His Darkest Craving), so maybe this duo's work is just not to my taste.

Characters and Plot Dynamics
Avery Watson is an ordinary human woman trying to live her life, unaware that she has caught the attention of forces far beyond Earth. She is relatable and grounded, someone who feels very real in a story filled with extraterrestrial danger. Her strength builds gradually as the story unfolds, especially when she is forced into situations she never could have imagined.
Hunter Coleman, also known as Fyran, is anything but ordinary. He is an alien assassin sent to Earth with a very specific mission: find a compatible mate and ensure the survival of his species. Coming from a world where most females have been wiped out, his assignment is more about biology than romance, and at first, he sees it as beneath his skills. Fyran is used to high-stakes, deadly missions, not quietly observing humans and searching for a partner. That internal conflict adds depth to his character right away.
Things take a turn when Fyran discovers Avery. Despite his initial resistance, he feels an undeniable pull toward her. At the same time, his instincts as an assassin kick in when he realizes Avery is being targeted by dangerous alien criminals involved in drugs, weapons, and human trafficking. What begins as reluctant surveillance quickly turns into fierce protection, and Fyran finds himself unable to stay away from her. The story blends romance, suspense, and sci-fi as their lives become increasingly intertwined.
Highlights and Limitations
One of the biggest strengths of this audiobook is its originality. The premise alone stands out, combining alien survival instincts with a protective, almost obsessive romance. The world-building is immersive without being overwhelming. There are multiple alien races, underground operations, and a sense that Earth is far more crowded and dangerous than humans realize.
The character development is another highlight. Fyran’s transformation from detached assassin to deeply protective mate is compelling and believable within the context of the story. Avery’s growth is just as satisfying, as she evolves from unaware civilian to someone who can face extraordinary danger with courage.
The pacing is strong, especially in the second half when the stakes rise and the danger surrounding Avery becomes more immediate. The mix of action and romance keeps things engaging throughout.
As for limitations, some readers might find Fyran’s possessiveness a bit intense at times, especially early on. While it fits the trope and his alien nature, it may not appeal to everyone. There are also moments where the plot leans into familiar patterns within the alien romance genre, even though it still manages to feel fresh overall.
Narration
The narration adds a lot to the experience. Zachary Zaba does a great job distinguishing between Avery and Fyran, giving each a clear and consistent voice. Fyran’s tone captures that blend of deadly precision and growing emotional depth, while Avery’s voice reflects her humanity and vulnerability without making her sound weak.
The pacing of the narration matches the story well, especially during the more suspenseful scenes. Emotional moments are given room to breathe, which helps the romance feel more authentic. Overall, the performance enhances both the tension and the connection between the characters.
Final Opinion
Stalked by the Alien Assassin is a 4.4 star audiobook that delivers on multiple levels. It offers a unique premise, strong world-building, and well-developed characters that make the story easy to get lost in. The balance between romance and danger is handled well, and the narration brings everything together in a way that keeps you hooked.
If you enjoy alien romance with a protective hero, high stakes, and a touch of suspense, this one is definitely worth a listen.
This story was so enthralling I didn't want to put it down. The characters are so awesome. Avery is such a beautiful ray of positivity and sunshine even when the world tried to drag her down. Fyran aka Hunter can't help but be drawn to her like a moth to a flame. A tasty read that will twist the heart strings with Wonderful action sequences, and car chases to get the heart pumping and a human mother that is ... Yeah, a real peace of work.
I have loved every book this writing duo has written, and this one was no different. Full of humor, steam, sweetness, and action, Stalked by the Alien Assassin was a fantastic read. A little edgier than others they’ve written (and much longer...yay!!!), but sooo good!
It's just so boring. The minutia. The lack of 'alienness', I mean just cause he has a tail...
Meh
I enjoyed another book by this author so I would try another. But seriously, if you're going to write about the nitty gritty crap in a person's life, try to write about it from their perspective and not that of some lame boring loser with an uninteresting life. Try to write it from the pov of a lame boring loser ALIEN.
Oh my god. While this story had its cute and exciting moments, it could have definitely been a couple hundred pages shorter. By the time we got to the epilogue, I could not care anymore.
This story is about a male alien whose planet went through a disease which killed off majority of the females and as a result they had sent some of their higher ranking operatives to Earth in order to find compatible humans who they would be able to have children with and bond with, although there is no guarantee this would be a possibility.
In this story the male is an assassin who has taken upon himself to stalk the girl that was his mate, in the beginning trying his hardest to ensure that his mission was unsuccessful. I enjoyed the fact that the book married action and romance together in equal measure, with both of them being used to fuel the other rather then overpower both. With that being said the one thing that I did not like about this book was the fact the female character forgave the male so quickly and easily despite appearing in sections to be so angry she was unwilling to talk to him again, I do know that this story is suppose to revolve around fated mates and them being together being inevitable but to me there wasn't sufficient grovelling for forgiveness however other than that the book was well written in both the action and romance parts.
-strangers to lovers -found family -slowburn -Dark hair, tall, and handsome -mates -Normal F, paranormal creature -love at first sight -stalking -insta love -Pregnancy
SPICE 🌶 3/5 (some 🍋)
I think this book was good in general. I really liked the dynamic that the first couple had in the first book. I guess I wasn't used to the stalking obsessive MC character in this book. I really enjoyed how the relationship progressed between both characters starting from their first meeting. It all build up to a normal relationship until the FMC finally discovers the real identity of the MC. Reading previous books by the author, I couldn't predict what the conflict in the book would be. A bit predictable, but not bad. I would say that I enjoyed this book more than the previous one~! If you're into possessive alien MCs with a tendency to stalk, this is the book for you!
**4.5-Star Review for *Stalked by the Alien Assassin* by Tiffany Roberts** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
Look, at this point, Tiffany Roberts could write an alien grocery list and I’d still read it with rapt attention. Their books? Certified catnip. And *Stalked by the Alien Assassin*? Ohhh baby, this one's got claws, heart, and sizzling alien tension that'll have you texting NASA like, “Where’s my space assassin?”
This is book two in the *Aliens Among Us* series, and honestly, if aliens like Fyran are blending into society, please let me be abducted... respectfully.
Fyran is a Faloran assassin with the personality of a grumpy cactus and the emotional baggage of a warehouse clearance sale. He’s good at his job (which is killing people—minor detail), but believes he’s basically trash wrapped in murder skills. He’s not looking for a soulmate. He's looking to track down some sketchy aliens and go back to brooding in peace.
Enter Avery, a waitress with retro vibes, a heartbreaking past full of rich-people neglect, and a dream of being loved *and* writing stories that don’t involve literal assassination attempts. When Fyran meets her? Fireworks. Not the cute sparkler kind. I’m talking full Fourth-of-July-in-your-pants intensity.
Their chemistry? SMOKIN'. Like “I need to fan myself and drink water” levels of spicy. But it’s not just about the smutty goodness—though yes, there’s some top-tier alien nookie. This book weaves in real emotional depth, danger, humor, and a plot that never drags.
It’s got action, passion, trauma healing, and the kind of "found my person against all odds" energy that makes my romance-loving heart do a happy little somersault.
The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is because I *needed* just a teeny bit more at the end—like an epilogue with a space wedding or something (please, Roberts, I beg).
Highly recommend. Five stars in my heart, 4.5 stars on paper. Also, when is the next book coming out? And where do I apply to get stalked by my very own emotionally-wounded alien assassin? Asking for a friend. (It’s me. I’m the friend.)
I dunno'. This one felt extremely long, but in an overly-explaining-emotions-that-we're-already-privy-to way. I feel like that balance between 'well, people who have cognitive thoughts often double back and reconsider' and 'this is a book and a human is reading this, and they already grasp this information' was not married well. But I mean, the couple was pretty much on the same page from go, just fighting the pull, so I'm not sure why we needed the same conflict rehashed for the readership three thousand times. This bugged me enough that I almost dnf, but decided to plug along in the interest of finishing.
I really love Avery and Fyran's dynamic, especially when Avery messes with Fyran in subtle ways. I feel like the two characters worked off each other really well and made this story absolutely captivating.
Dnf at 80%. I should have way before this point, but I was really trying since I usually really enjoy their work. I just couldn't care about either of the main characters. This just didn't work for me at all.
I Loved this book! It was everything that a great book should be. It's action packed, broody, beautiful setting and romantic. The cover is amazing and the story does not disappoint. This will definitely be a re-read in my future because I'm no t done with Avery and Fyran yet. I'm going to miss them. Great book!
Given the title of this book, I did not expect the most unhinged part to be that two virgins were able to just absolutely rail each other without complications the very first time.
After reading the previous two books in the series I expected an entertaining if... a bit conservative (not quite the right word, but close enough) read. This book however was close to 300 pages longer than the previous two, which should have been my first clue. My second clue should have been the fact that the main hero acted like a total teenager full of anger management issues and was completely incompetent even though he was supposed to be some world (ahem sorry *universe*) class assassin. At the same time though whenever he talked to the heroine he was all suave and *sexy*, it was like reading about two separate people.
There was very little action or plot in this book. I would say those extra 300 pages were all and I mean ALL introspection and internal monologuing and they really REALLY should have been cut. It was tedious and repetitive and I ended up skimming most of it since it was just so dang boring. Well... boring when I wasn't annoyed stupid by the main hero perving on the heroine. What a creep.
Also, unrelated (although relevant to why I hated this book) the two main characters were both virgins, which I didn't have a problem with. Sex or lack thereof does not define a person. My problem, was that they didn't talk about it! They were just constantly horny until they suddenly and wildly had "amazing" unprotected sex. That is so unrealistic. In real life sex is messy and awkward most of the time and especially the first time, but ok let's pretend this is Hollywood and sex is always sexy. Even then, if I found out my boyfriend was an alien I would ask for a comprehensive lesson on alien dick before letting that thing anywhere near me. Like come on, he could have had some weird tentacle thing down there! It's the whole "if you can't talk about it, then you shouldn't be doing it" thing. I mean seriously, talk about alien dick before riding alien dick. It shouldn't be that hard... well unless alien dick is like human dick... then it should be *that hard*. Ha! I'll stop now. I'm sorry.
