I wish I could do a half star, because I’d rate it more 3.5. He was very repetitive throughout the book. But the information was fine. It just felt like he couldn’t said it once and made the book 2/3 of the length.
I wish l had this book years ago. I have muddled along for the past 20 years with AS and All the answers are here. Everything word is true l’ve lived it. Thank you Dr, cummins
If you are newly diagnosed with AS, you probably had been unwell for a fair amount of time. You probably have spent a lot of time researching your symptoms trying to find answers to what was ailing you. There is a lot of information about general inflammation and inflammatory disease processes in this book that you are likely already familiar with. I found the information in this book to be redundant, but some of the scientific explanations were helpful. I also found some of the exercises shared to be helpful as well. This book has potential to be really helpful to those who are completely unfamiliar with inflammatory illnesses & AS, but I think a good editor could help to streamline and condense the information included. I would rate this book 3 stars for the absolute “beginner,” and 2.5 stars for those with a basic understanding of inflammatory illnesses, anatomy, & physiology.
