Pride goeth before the fall... John Constantine has done a lot of unforgivable things in his wicked life, and he's managed to not let the guilt get to him, but dabbling in magic and the dark arts as much as he has is bound to have consequences. As he's fond of saying, magic always has a price.

In issue #12, Simon Spurrier's series appears to come to a conclusion. Whether it's a satisfying one or not is dependent on whether you think Constantine is a bloody wanker deserving punishment or a right bastard of an anti-hero who has saved the world enough times that his sins are immune from judgement.

The jury's still out.
