Adam and Eve were driven from the Garden of Eden because they disregarded it. Cain was punished for defying it. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah were decimated for violating it. The generation of Noah met with destruction for desecrating it. Before the Law was given on Mount Sinai, there was a simple moral code that all mankind was to live by, a code of conduct that long antedated the Ten Commandments. Yet for nearly two thousand years, Christians have forbade its teaching, fearing that if adopted it would make Christianity obsolete and relegate the Triune deity to the dustbin of theological history along with the ancient gods of Zeus, Isis, and Mithra.
