Wilde Ways #11

Roman Will Fall

Rate this book
She can’t work with him.

They’ve been partners for less than a week, and Roman Smith (if that even was his real last name!) is already driving Harper Crane absolutely insane. His list of faults is a mile long. Roman is secretive, controlling, and far too sexy. Okay, the sexiness doesn’t matter. It can’t matter. What matters is that Roman never listens to orders, he is far too quiet and intense, and Harper is pretty sure that he is up to some seriously shady side business.

He isn’t supposed to want his new training partner.

Roman has spent his life in the darkness. He is far too well acquainted with evil, and working at Wilde? Well, joining the security and protection firm is supposed to be the first step to turning things around in his world. The first step to becoming someone new. But some habits are hard to shake. And Roman knows that his way too beautiful trainer, Harper, is already suspicious of him. Yeah, so…she is right to be suspicious. Until recently, he has been the bad guy in the story. His list of past deeds could give anyone nightmares. Too bad he only wants to give Harper sweet dreams.

Trouble has followed Roman.

Roman has some unfinished business from his past—in the form of deadly enemies—who have tracked him. And now those enemies have gotten the wrong idea about Harper. (Probably because Roman couldn’t keep his hands off her on a case.) They think she is Roman’s lover. They think they can use her in order to get to him. They are about to make the worst mistake of their lives.

When Roman’s enemies kidnap Harper, he drops the good guy role.

Roman races to rescue her—and they are thrown together in close confines. Intimately close. In order to fight the enemies closing in, Harper and Roman have to trust each other. They have to work together. Stay together. Except the longer they are together, the more Roman realizes just how much he wants the fiery Harper. And soon…Roman can’t imagine his life without her.

Can a reformed bad guy get a chance at happily ever after? Maybe. If things get Wilde enough…

Author’s note: The badder they are, the harder they fall. And Roman is about to fall…HARD. His training partner blindsides him from the very beginning. Bad guys aren’t supposed to believe in love at first sight, and, hell, Roman doesn’t even believe in love at all.

But…then Harper barrels into his life.

When she’s threatened, he will do anything and everything necessary to assure her safety.

And as for Harper, if she gives him the chance, he will prove to her that even bad guys can be good…at least, with the right person.

The Wilde crew is back. Buckle up and get ready for hot times, danger, and a whole lot of surprises.

With Roman Will Fall we get Roman and Harper's story. A romantic suspense with intsa-love, jealous/possessive, and very protective hero, as well as a heroine who can kick some serious butt!

Roman is determined to keep Harper safe from whoever it is that has targeted her to get to him. He just has to find out who that exactly is. He also finds that a bit difficult when he has secrets from Harper and she is no fool. She is very capable of taking care of herself.

What I like about this series is that the woman are just as lethal as the men. You get to see both of them investigate and kick some evil butt. The men are over protective and very possessive while the women refuse to just sit back and are just as capable. It makes for a fun series to read.

I also adore that we got more of Dex. That guy is hilarious. I'm looking forward to Ella and Antony's book next.

Holy heck, this was one Wilde ride! Harper and Roman were explosive! In every way! Action and drama awaited around every corner while hidden secrets threatened them both.

Dimple Surgery for Beautiful Women Who Desire A Cute Face! | Blog

I enjoy a great heroine, but I can still be well satisfied without one. However, this author gives me heroines that make me more than satisfied. They make me ecstatic. Harper is the perfect example why. She’s feisty, tough, can kick tail, and knows what she wants. But instead of being over the top with it, resulting in an attitude that rubs me the wrong way, she simply accepts herself as she is even as she exhibits her talents when needed.

Oh my gosh, I loved watching Harper swing into action to save Roman even as he was determined he would save her. The imagery created by Ms. Eden’s words made the scenes come alive and had me grinning at Harper’s capabilities and Roman’s protectiveness.

”What are you doing?” she snapped. “You need to--”

“Don’t even think about it, sweetheart. You stay down. You stay covered.”

“You’re giving orders.” A hiss. “You know that’s one of our issues.”

“Yes, and it’s not changing.”

Roman was exactly what I look for in a hero. He was protective, possessive, and suffered enough jealousy to make me laugh. But even more than that, he was broken and as a result felt that he could never claim Harper. Was this the “I’m not good enough for her'' trope? Yes, but written in a way that elevated it to a level unlike any I’m used to. Watching him wade his way through his emotions was part of what made this such an exhilarating read.

This was a shorter book but it never lacked character or plot development. From the beginning it takes off. I adored seeing some of the characters from past books as well as getting to know a few of them better. There was a delicious ending as well as the set up for the next book offering so much more goodness in the future.

5 "Danger & Desire" Stars⭐
A Thrilling & Passionate Action-packed romantic suspense Standalone story in my favorite "Wilde Ways" Series, with Twists, Dangers, Hot & Sexy, Feels, Love, Darkness, Truths & HEA!
I loved Roman & Harper. They make a superb pair! It was awesome to see the others too😍. I was so excited to read this, finally got the time❤️. DEVOURED this in around 4hrs.

Harper; Warm, Fun, Kickass; is a Senior agent at Eric Wilde's security firm. She's a new character we find about slowly, but Omg, her personality is lovable!😉
Roman; Mysterious, Intense, Dangerous; had a psychotic father. Been a CIA ex-Spy, A Rogue..Rom has Lot of Skills. Being an agent is his New Start after the events of previous book. Roman's sis is Lacey (Eric's his fam) & Dex, oh ya😂, R's brother-in-law. We already know Roman's past, but it's told again here, in detail.

Eric partners Harper & Roman together. Total opposites. They don't mesh well at all, but slowly Harp thaws Roman's cold walls with her warmth! Their Banters are fun, & they can't deny that White-hot attraction that is there b/w them from the start.

They solve their latest case easily but then a ghost from Roman's past surfaces, wanting revenge...Targeting Harper, as he spends a lot of time with her. Danger, Adrenaline, Rush...Roman & Harper give in to eachother.
~Museum, Unvited guest, Kidnapped, Safe & Close, White hot Attraction, Plan & Scouring, Life Saver, Sexy times...

Lost. That’s what I am. That’s what I think we both are, now.”
“Then be lost with me.”

With every day, desire & feelings grow. Love happens. With danger surrounding him, he should let Harper go, but he couldn't...Nor would Harper give him without a fight. But would the dangers & Truths from past tear them apart?
~Back boom, Truths, Investigation, The past connection, Gone & Rescue, Wtf wait, New Lives...

This book was Captivatingly edgy! Those last scenes had my Heart-racing, the emotions were big. Fun & Action, only Cynthia can pair them so well!
One threat eliminated. But ghosts from Roman's past may keep appearing, so Dex (😉) gave him a full new start. New name, New look, A Reclusive Billionaire. & Harper chooses to be with him!! That HEA was beautiful❤.

P.s. That side story was good...I KNEW Kendrick & Layla will get together! I wish they'd/get a book, but nevertheless I'm glad he proposed to her!

P.p.s. I loved Antony's scenes, knowing his book is Next...This book paved its way, Ella found Antony's lies from Harper's clues...omg!

Reviewed for Romancing the Readers Blog: http://www.romancingthereaders.com/20...

I always look forward to a new book in Eden's Wilde Ways series. Anyone who has been reading it knows how wonderful each of these stories is. She has a wonderful way of taking a mysterious hero and showing us his heart.

Up this time is Roman's story. You met him in the prior book. He comes off as a very unhappy, angry person who has no issues killing those he deems to have wronged him. Thankfully he has a conscience, or I should say a willingness to listen when pushed.

I really liked Roman and felt for him. He had it really hard as a kid and life never got any better. Even when he tries to do the right thing he learns that his family doesn't make it that easy.

You'll really like him though. He's strong, willing, and just really a behind the scenes type of great guy. I cheered him on for most of the story. I wanted him to be happy. Right away you can see how much he cares for Harper. He's very protective of her even when she doesn't want it or needs it.

Love Harper, she cracked me up so much in this book. The way she is a straight arrow yet can't stop talking. Those things just seem funny to me. She has control yet doesn't. The perfect match for Roman who has way too much control and needs to live a little.

It takes these two a bit of time to work it all out but they do. You want them to be happy and together and it seems like at times that wasn't' going to happen but in the end, it all worked out. I loved visiting with Dex. He just cracks me up. One of her best characters.

In this Wilde Ways installment, Roman is now working for Erik Wilde. But since his past is a big secret, his new partner doesn’t know anything about his skills. In fact, she’s been told he’s a distant relative that Erik had to hire. However, she’s pretty quick and realizes he’s got some training and isn’t being forthcoming. But he also isn’t inept, so she’s doing her best to train him. But for Roman? Every situation he’s in with Harper involves him taking charge to keep her safe. In her view, that means he doesn’t follow orders.

But Erik won’t give her a new partner. He wants her with Roman.

Roman Smith is the son of a truly bad person. He grew up in a bad situation, the son of a Russian mafia boss. He’s not his father. But he isn’t exactly a good guy either. Ms. Eden excels in writing those types of heroes, and I love each and every one of them. Roman is tough, sexy, broody, and can handle any situation. It’s seriously sexy.

Harper is competent and smart. I love heroines who also know how to handle themselves and the situations that pop up. That’s why I love seeing two agents fall in love. At first, they aren’t working out as partners since Roman keeps trying to protect Harper and jump in front of bullets for her. She isn’t having that. She is the senior agent, and he’s still in his probationary period. He should be listening to her. And yet…he still keeps taking over. This drives Harper crazy.

But then someone from Roman’s past pops back up in his life and his and Harper’s case turns south. Roman will do anything to protect Harper…except let her in. He doesn’t want her to see the darkness inside of him. But Harper sees far more than darkness. She sees light. Goodness. A man she could love.

The sexiness is off the charts in this book, and I love these two together. They are a strong and capable couple that works well together, and I loved seeing them in action. The ending was a surprise to me, I don’t think I’ve ever read an ending like that before and it works! I can’t wait for the next Wilde Ways book, and I really loved the bit of a teaser at the end. This author writes fantastic Romantic Suspense, and I would drop everything to read one of her books. This series is fantastic, and if you haven’t read it yet, the first book is free right now. 4.25 stars--ROMAN WILL FALL is the eleventh instalment in Cynthia Eden’s contemporary, adult WILDE WAYS erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for Wilde Ways Security. This is new hiree Roman Smith, and security agent Harper Crane’s story line. ROMAN WILL FALL can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from third person perspective (Roman and Harper) ROMAN WILL FALL follows the acrimonious relationship between Wilde Ways new hiree Roman Smith, and security agent Harper Crane. Harper wants nothing to do with her new partner Roman Smith. Harper is effervescent, bubbly, take charge agent but Roman pushes all of our heroine’s buttons with his brooding, silence and one-word answers until an assignment finds our couple in the direct line of fire, a target Roman blames on his dark and dangerous past. In an effort to protect the woman with whom he is falling in love, Roman becomes guardian and protector but someone is desperate to destroy our hero, starting with the thing he loves the most. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Harper and Roman, and the potential fall-out as Roman struggles with secrets from the past, secrets that will are about to be exposed.

Roman Smith knows a thing or two about the dangerous players in the game of international espionage having been one of the most dangerous players of them all but it is his past that is trying to destroy his future, and in this he refuse to place Harper in the direct line of fire. Harper Crane knows Roman is keeping secrets including his real identity, back story and people from his past. Without knowing who is after them, Harper struggles between head and heart, and every threat pulls Roman further away.

The relationship between Harper and Roman is tempestuous at best but one of immediate attraction between our story line couple. Roman knows that to get involved with Harper Crane means placing our heroine in the direct line of fire. Together, and in hiding, Harper and Roman will take their relationship from professional to love but in doing so, once again, make Harper a liability Roman can no longer afford. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Wilde Ways owner Eric Wilde; IT hacker and CIA operative Antony Kyle; Roman’s former handler Dexter ‘Dex’ Ryan; museum curator Tomas Archwright, and his assistant Charity Hall. Antony’s story line is next in THE ONE WHO GOT AWAY.

ROMAN WILL FALL is a story of secrets and lies; betrayal and vengeance; power and control; relationships and love. The character driven premise is intriguing and imaginative; the romance is spicy and seductive; the characters are charismatic, stubborn and dynamic.

Just finished Roman Will Fall less than an hour ago and I couldn't wait to sit down to write my review! Roman Will Fall is an excellent, toe-curling, edgy romantic suspense that was loaded with feels and white hot chemistry that made my toes curl in my carpet and had my heart melting with pure joy.

Roman is the kind of bad boy that makes your inner good girl sit up and take notice while Harper is a heroine who is friendly and fierce. And the chemistry between these two is off the charts HOT while the danger surrounding Roman leads to Harper being in danger because of the feelings growing strong and bold and beautiful between them. I was constantly biting my lip, flipping the pages eagerly to see what will happen next. The sex was definitely steamy and the feels had my heart clenching and tears springing to my eyes. This was AWESOME and got me out of the funk I have been living in for a long while now and I am so excited to read the next book by Cynthia Eden. An unputdownable book RIGHT HERE with Roman Will Fall!

This romantic suspense gets a THRILL SEEKING FIVE WHITE HOT STARS!

Even though “Say I Do” wasn’t a cliffhanger, this book is a continuation of that book. Dex is still playing the “Puppet Master” and Antony is diving deep into the dark web. Roman Smith is trying to recreate a new life for himself, as Roman Valentino no longer exists. He wants to bury his past and all the evil he caused. Eric Wilde gives him a second chance at his agency. Eric assigns Harper as Roman’s trainee and new partner. It doesn’t take long for sparkles to fly between the quiet and scary Roman and the talkative and outgoing Harper. Unfortunately, Roman’s past is intervening in a deadly way for this new couple.
In true Eden style, this is a suspenseful romantic story with a dramatic plot.
Of course, with her books you come to expect the unexpected. I do wish some of my favorite Wilde agents had at least cameos, but it’s only Eric that has a role in this action-packed book.

Roman and Harper

First, I just love their names! Roman seems dark to me, with good reason. Harper was so bright and sunny, I kept waiting for that to change, it didn’t. It’s a roller coaster of drama and suspense. Twisted ties in their lives.

Another explosive, edge of your seat romantic suspense by none other than Cynthia Eden who excels in this genre! I don't know how she comes up with new and creative story lines for these characters but somehow she does and I hope she continues to do so. I love when an author can make me cheer for the bad guy and Roman is a bad boy with a heart of gold. Harper couldn't have been a better partner and counterpart to Roman. Ms. Eden certainly knows how to keep the plot moving swiftly! These are always fast reads for me because I simply can't put them down once I get into them. And it's always fun and enjoyable to revisit some of the characters from the previous books in this series. Exciting, fun and flirty, suspenseful and steamy -- what else could you want?! I can't wait for Ella & Antony's story!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

I have really mixed feelings about this book. While it sucked me in and was a fun ride with an interesting plot, the characters fell completely flat. Roman is supposed to be this supreme bad ass and we never got to see that. And then there's Harper... I hated her. She wasn't a relatable or realistic character at all. She's a woman who can apparently do anything due to her "training" but when we find out what that training is... it's ridiculous. Her character was overkill, . Throw in the fact that pretty much every guy she meets asks her out and half falls in love with her after she simply smiles at them... She was awful.

I enjoyed the ride this story provided, but it lacked character development and the heroine was one of the biggest Mary-Sue's I've ever seen. Sadly, this book is probably the worst in the series because of it.

This was a guilty pleasure read with not a lot of guilt. It was adventurous, fast-paced, interesting, and captured my attention. I've read three books by Cynthia Eden, all in the Wilde Ways series, and this is the best by far. This series has been enjoyable when I'm in a reading slump and want something fast-paced with characters that are badass, unproblematic, and love each other deeply. I appreciate that Roman (and the heroes from the author's other books that I've read) have not been overcontrolling, obsessive, possessive, over-the-top. They're protective in an endearing and silly way.

The writing is so easy to read. The action takes off immediately. There's an element of insta-love/insta-attraction, but because the story contains quite a lot of plot (the mystery/suspense element) that requires the heroine and hero to work together, it was easy to become invested in their relationship.

These books have a fanfiction-y type of feel to them. The book doesn't try to be more than it is - the details of their jobs, their assignments, and other logistics are not well-fleshed out (compared to other books that feature the heroine and hero working together like Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series), so the story isn't particularly logical. But because the story doesn't pretend to be realistic or more meaningful and deep than it actually is, this level of depth works well for the story.

WOW!!!! Buckle up for one rollercoaster ride is suspense, intrigue, danger, kidnapping, deceipt, secrets, lies, intense drama, hot steamy scenes, twists that you turning page after page.
Harper Crane works for Wilde Security her boss Eric Wilde he introduces her to a new partner Roman Smith who us driving her crazy already his lists of faults, secrets, controlling alpha hot sexy ways he never listens to anything does what he wants, he's to quiet, intense, shady she doesn't trust him yet.
Romans life before coming to Wilde Security to work he was former CIA his life was all darkness, danger, far to familiar with evil in the world but all Harper had to do is smile her dimples he's a goner for her at first meet.

I have been a huge fan of this series, and the characters and the general premise of the stories. This story focuses on two Wilde partners, Harper, who has worked at Wilde for a while and is well-liked, and Roman, who is a new addition and who is not earning any points with Harper.

Roman Will Fall showacases a definite strong female lead because Harper is one tough woman. This book is full of drama and suspense and mystery as Harper is involved in multiple attempts on her life as Roman works overtime to keep her safe and figure out if he is somehow the ultimate target. In the meantime, the chemistry between the two of them reaches scorching levels, altering the course of their relationship and blurring all the lines.

I read this book in one sitting because I had to know what was going to happen and because I was so invested in the story. Although there was a brief stint of work-related discord, I did find the relationship between Roman and Harper to be a little too close to insta-love, which I am not a huge fan of, but aside from this, I did really enjoy the story overall. I just wish there was maybe a little more build up to their relationship/involvement. I do love this series and the Wilde team!

Cynthia Eden has written another fantastic book in her “Wilde Ways” series. This book is about Harper Crane, an agent in Wilde’s Security and Protection firm. She does not like her new partner, Roman Smith. She calls him “arrogant” and “controlling,” and says he refuses to follow “the simplest of directions.” Eric, the owner of the firm refuses to move him to another partner, so Harper is stuck with him.

Harper is an outgoing, talkative woman who smiles and laughs a lot. Roman is secretive, quiet, serious and bossy. Because of that, they drive each other crazy. Yet, Harper and Roman are very much aware that their major problem is their off-the-chart chemistry.

Ms. Eden creates characters that are VERY 3-dimensional. Both Harper and Roman are fantastic agents who can take care of themselves in most death-defying situations. Yet, even though they are the heroes of the story, the author has no problem showing their imperfections as well as offensive characteristics.

This is not only a hot, sexy, over-the-top, love story with lots of steamy sex. It is also an action-packed, page-turner that will keep the reader on the edge of her seat. This book will grab your attention from the first page, and it will not let it go until the very last page!

Cynthia Eden’s Roman Will Fall is the eleventh in her Wilde Ways series. Harper Crane is an experienced operative with Wilde, a high-end security and protection agency. Her new partner, Roman Smith, is driving her insane. They’re just one week into his six-week probationary period, and she’s ready to stab him herself. His one-word answers and insistence on protecting her when she is clearly the senior agent in the partnership, as well as his gruffly unsmiling mien are sending her round the bend.

Roman is completely enchanted with his new partner, but he’s learned his lesson early and well. He is a terrible person with a terrible past and good things? They are not for him.

Cynthia Eden’s story is hot and hilarious. Harper is an incredibly appealing heroine, smart and capable as well as warm and funny. She speaks her own mind and is cool under pressure. When she determines that what she wants is Roman? She doesn’t hold back there either.

Roman has barrels full of agony to work through, and it is sweetly charming to see him slowly come to realize that he doesn’t have to be an island unto himself forever.

Roman Will Fall will have you falling too ;)

Another wonderful Wilde book. We get a more in depth look into Roman in this installment though he is still quiet secretive.

Roman is now working at Wilde and is partnered up with Harper, the nicest most easy going agent. Needless to say, Roman has not been her idea of a good partner and she wants Eric to call the six week trial off. Of course Eric refuses. One of Harpers' biggest gripes with Roman is he only answers her with one word, never more and she is a talker.

Eric has a talk with Roman and he vows to do better. He really wants to have this new life but is almost certain it can never be.

After Harper and Roman stop a museum theft someone recognizes him and is going to take him down. Unfortunately, the person picks up on the fact that Roman cares for Harper. This puts a target on her and thus she is kidnapped.

Roman enlists Dex's help and he finds Harper. But the person out to kill him notes how Roman moved heaven and earth to find/safe Harper. This is not good for Harper.

In the meantime they are forming feelings for one another and explore them.

That's all I'll give. Enjoy the read, I sure did.

Looking forward to the next one :).

So many secrets....Harper and Roman are two people who have that instant connection. Roman is so afraid of his past, and the person he thinks that he is, he doesn't want to taint Harper with it. She is such a light and gentle soul who has been hurt over and over again by life. Roman was raised by a monster, and is afraid that he can't be more than that monster's son. Cynthia Eden continues giving us strong novels in her Wilde Ways series with these 2 characters. We met Roman in the previous book and Harper has made tiny appearances here and there. In typical Eden fashion, we get the suspense but this one gives us a little more angst the normal. Harper truly wants Roman, and understands that he has a past that he isn't proud of, and she only wants him to trust her and give her his secrets. Roman is so afraid to open up to her, he holds everything close to the vest, but that blows up in his face. There aren't any dull moments in this book, and it was a great read as usual. Eden gives us a great lead in to her next book in the series, and I am excited to see where she takes those characters.

What a delightful addition to this amazing series! I loved the character of Harper Crane, her witty dialog and her “full steam ahead” attitude to get things done. Roman Smith is flawed and feels that his past deeds do not make him worthy of Harper’s love. When Harper first complains about Roman it is because she is the senior agent and is supposed to be training him as a Wilde agent. He insists in trying to protect her instead of being her partner. After there are threats on her life, he believes the threats are really aimed at him and someone from his past wants him dead. Evidently, his “fake” death from before has not fooled anyone. He had hoped to put his dangerous past behind him, but it looks like he is going to have to find the person responsible for threatening Harper and do what he does best…kill them. Everything you want is in this book; action, suspense, hot romance, wonderful characters and a plot that will keep you turning the pages. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

I love a good at odds partnership/odd-couple romance!

Roman (ex-assassin and tangled up in the Wilde extended family tree) has been foisted onto Harper as her new partner. Harper is steaming mad. She's had him as a partner for a week and that's about 6 days too long in her opinion! Roman is weirdly protective/possessive of her and she is a kickbutt operative, even if her training was a tad..off-centre.

Roman is about to go hulk on someone. They have it in for Harper and he thinks it's because of his past. A past that he can't exactly tell Harper about. Cos if this particular cat gets out of the bag...well Harper is deadly at the best of times - that news would just send her to Defcon1!

Love that this series has extremely capable female characters, they may not all be agents or what have you but they are now damsels in a dress. They have their own talents and are not above saving the say themselves (sometimes you just have to save yourself!)

Dex is still as mysterious as ever and enjoying torturing Roman just a little too much LOL.

Maybe it's because I haven't read any of the previous books and that is why I am underwhelmed.

The book starts off with Harper complaining to her dear boss Eric that Roman isn't exactly a great rule follower especially since she was the senior one of the two and his replies are one-worded answers. "No. Yes."
Roman is the love interest and my goodness, he is boring, to say the least. Does he have an interesting background? Yes. It would have helped a little if he was a little more open about the things going on in his past. Instead, he keeps his mouth shut excepts when he opens it, it is at the wrong time and says all the wrong thing. I hate the whole self-damning thing he did. (I wish I counted how many times I rolled my eyes). Harper should have told him to seek therapy for his parental issues.

Harper is a great person and I support Roman when he says that she deserves better and he is a selfish bastard. I loved her lively personality and charming smiles and she was great when her at job which she loves.

Harper is a Wilde agent and has only been with her partner for a week and she wants him gone. Harper is beautiful, strong, and is talkative. She doesn’t know what’s up with her partner but she plans to find out. He doesn’t follow orders and is always jumping in front of her. Roman is the strong, silent type and in the past, was the bad guy. He was raised by a sadistic father and is afraid he will turn out just like him. When Harper is kidnapped, Roman rushes to her rescue and he plans on sticking as close as possible to her. But his past is catching up to him and they want to use Harper to get to Roman. Roman and Harper have to find the ones after Roman and then they might be able to live happily ever after.

These books just keep getting better. Roman is not the touchy feely type of person and Harper has a way with people, that they just fall at her feet. Plenty of action, secrets, and smoking hot sex.

Roman and Harper are complete opposites of each other, but both connected by the past. Harper is an outgoing, talkative, item protecting badass. Roman was raised completely the opposite and taught to be a killer by his father and then worked for the CIA.

They were partnered by Eric Wilde and were assigned a simple jewel heist case, which turned into so much more. Roman's past was biting him in the butt and the bad guy uses Harper to get to him.

These were such fun characters to get to know and watching them interact was entertaining at times. I loved when Harper told him to use more than one syllable answers when she asked him a question. Things are never what they seem when Dex gets involved but his added resources makes things easier.

Roman Will Fall is another great addition to the Wilde series. I'm glad we got to see more of Antony as well. He's fun!

Harper and Roman soon find themselves targets and the danger increases as they grow closer Harper wanting Roman to confide to her his dark secrets . Roman knows if he does reveil his secrets she will run from him and their relationship will come to an end .
