Two mates and me living under one roof. What could go wrong?
A lot, actually. We’ve got a half-shifter, half-witch on our tails, scooping up girls from our pack. She’s like a ghost so track her and trapping her is like sifting air. Especially since her chief henchman is a hawk shifter with an axe to grind. Possibly literally.
The females in my pack are being hunted, and I’m not going to stand for it one second longer. I have to do something. I just don’t know what yet.
My mate and my almost-mate are now living under one roof, and the word awkward doesn’t even begin to describe what’s going on. But the pressure is on, and Samson will be mine sooner than later. Their legacy of rivalry is far too entrenched for twin brothers who should have one another’s back. And I know who caused it.
But Samson wants me, and I want him. And we all want safety and peace for the pack.
Mazzy J. March is a fan of all things paranormal--shifters, vampires, witches...dragons and all the many creatures that inhabit the world beyond the ordinary. She has been plotting her Academy stories for a long time and is thrilled to finally have them releasing and ever grateful to the readers who are offering such support and helping her dreams come true.
Very slow, especially for such a short book. The ending of the great mystery was underwhelming and left arguably more questions unanswered than at the start. The final battle wasn’t really much of a payoff and Christie’s powers always felt a tad too convenient.
I want more about the witch and her raven bird man. I know we aren’t gonna get more because this series is up and I won’t visit it again. This functions as the final book even though Tinsel is technically Book 8.
2.75 stars rounded up because I enjoyed this more than Tether.
Book 7 and we are at the end of this incredible why choose werewolf romance. It’s action packed and full of drama and romance, it’s gripping and so exciting and yes we finally get our hea! The storyline has continued to grow and develop from the very start and I feel as though I have been with them the whole journey. Mysteries are solved, questions answered and baddies defeated so all is right in the world!
Alright! This self declared member of the Inconsistency Police is finally finished this series, pretty much!
To review this book on its own: Admittedly, comparing the first part of these books with Wendi, I didn't find the ones with Christie QUITE as great. That's just in comparison. Not taking those into account, these have been pretty good. This final book? Meeeeh... the ending of the battle was a bit sudden, but it still worked. There are things still left unexplained from previous books (Wendi's parents died in an "accident" - so was it, or was it not an accident? The fire that took her aunt's life, it said it was arson, and it seemed she was doing to discover who did it. No? Not going there? And I won't get started on Moss' house being on fire, then suddenly that apparently just didn't happen, everything went on as normal in the next book with his house, that... didn't catch fire?)
I guess I felt like I was left wanting... something more, I guess. With the first books with Wendi, I was grinning so much while reading the books, and despite the (many) problems with consistency (this is your word of the day, folks!), it was a fabulous tale.
What happened to Dean? They just aren't going to be friends, now? I get he might think they're weird for having multiple men, but... they were such good friends, for a while. Samson finally got his act together, thank goodness, but somehow I feel the progress didn't really show as much as it could have in the book (just my opinion). At least with his brother, Tris. Also - if they knew they were mates, why didn't they get together SO much sooner, before Tris came back? What stopped them then?
BASICALLY!!! Great storyline at first. Disappointed with the last of the story a bit, I guess. You could have stopped reading after Wendi. You didn't miss much, otherwise, sadly. I recommend reading this author's books... just, if you want, you can stop when it gets to Christie's POV. I wanted to love it more. I did. It's still good. Just... kind of left me feeling a bit lacking at the end.
Tremble is book 7 of the Shifter of Consequence series and is the third book and the conclusion of Christie's story. Finally, we get to see a happily ever after for Christie, but not without drama, paranormal action, and lots of heat. This story has been engaging from the beginning.
I love the characters in this series, and in particular, Christie's story. Christie has come a long way since her character was introduced. She is growing in her power, and she and her grandmother are working well together for the Pack's good. Tris and Samson are twins, and both are Christie's, fated mate. Samson, the Pack Alpha, finally welcomes his twin brother Tris back into the Pack. Tris is where he belongs as the Omega. That part of the storyline in itself is compelling. There is also the mystery around the Pack members going missing and an evil witch trying to steal the Pack's land that keeps the story interesting. That is the only part of the story that did not quite gel for me. I expected something bigger to happen, not necessarily bad, just bigger or more intense.
I read this book rather quickly and look forward to the final book in the series, Tinsel.

This one picks up with Christie & Tris having moved in with Samson on pack lands. Opal is still a threat & she will stop at nothing to take down the pack. Christie and her grandmother are working together to help take down Opal along with the rest of the pack. Christie gets her HEA as Samson finally claims her as his mate. Tris' banishment from the pack is lifted & he becomes co-alpha of the pack, which is what should have happened a long time ago.
Edge of your seat storyline, great characters and world building make this a can't put down book in this series.
We have action, suspense. Opal is still causing havoc to the pack. Christie still wants Her Mate Samson to mate her, but will he ever do that? Tris is living in the Alpha house with her and Samson for now? Will the twins ever get along? What will happen if Opal ever goes for her? What is this secret that Gigi is keeping from her?

Tremble by Mazzy J. March is a fantastic story that I have had the privilege to read and give my honest review on. This is book number seven in this fantastic series that I am so hooked on and can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters and paranormal romance.

Her other mate was more stubborn then a mule.. by and1515
Fate most have taken a few sick days because life couldn't be even more complicated she had two mates. One mate who'd hopped right on board the mating steam train while her second mate isn't ready to move forward. And then there's all the shady problems surrounding their community and one way or another they were going to put a stop to it.

Just when she gets family, it is taken away from her. Then she has her mates that are trying to protect her even though she is the protector of the pack. I seen the news of her friend coming from a mile away. It was only time. Now it is her time to shine. She will show that females need to learn to take care of themselves and move into the 21st century instead of always allowing the males to be the only ones to have "fun"
It was a good book. The main conflict was a bit lackluster and there was this big myth and buildup to what Christie was and it felt kind of flat. The book felt a bit rushed. There were some grammatical and spelling errors at the beginning but nothing too horrendous. Overall decent story.
Glad the while making thing has been straightened out and the bad guy has been taken out. I'm just so disappointed in the final battle. I was in both sets. I love romance but I also love action. These books build it up so big and then it's over by the time you blink. So frustrating.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters. I am glad that they got rid of Ophelia and her hawk. I am glad that Samson came to his senses about Christie and mated with her before it was late and plus accepting his brother back into the pack.
This is the 3rd story of Christie and will end in her fulfilling the prophecy of being the "warrior" needed to defeat the witch and her raven birdman. Worth finally reading the ending of the story for the Midnight Alders pack.
Tremble: A Shifter of Consequence Tale (Shifters of Consequence Book 7)
Absolutely love ❤ Christie, Tris, and Samson's story. This was a crazy rollercoaster ride for the tri... But, loved every minute of it. Definitely recommend this book 📕
It was a bit slower then the rest in the series and felt like it was just a blase wrap up to the saga. I liked, but wished for more. And now on to the holiday treat.
