I've been noticing some of Ms. Carter's teachings trickling into Donna Eden's-- they should be studied together, side by side. I have also her "Foot Reflexology. " Awesome sources of information.
I've read this book for at least 30 years. It's keeps me from going to doctors. I work on keeping healthy rather then curing illnesses. Of course, we all get injured or sick at times and by find the body buttons and rub them out we can help feel better. This book also talks about food, vitamins and the tools of the trade. I've given this book to many people.
I use this book all the time, for pain relief and energizing any part of my body that seems to be flagging -- especially the brain. Although there is a change in one critical diagram in the new edition (showing the hand reflexes) that I actively dislike, the rest of it has been super helpful. I've just hung onto my copy of the old, unexpanded edition so I can still refer to it as needed.
I first read this wonderful book in the 1980's while combing through my grandparents bookshelves. About ten years later they gifted me my own copy. This has been a good reference book all these years.
