Stitch would never act on his feelings for Mia. But with her life in danger, he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe.

As a Navy Seal, Evan ‘Stitch’ Watson has faced danger in all forms. He’s not afraid of much. Except maybe his team leader’s reaction when he finds out he’s got it bad for his sister Mia Chambers.

Smart and savvy veterinarian, Mia, feels just as strongly about Stitch, but like Stitch thinks any romance between them is doomed to fail because of her brother.

When a case of mistaken identity sees Mia caught up in a bizarre crime ring, she’s badly beaten and given an anonymous warning to run. Following the instructions of her mysterious savior, Mia seeks shelter in the only place she knows is safe: Stitch’s cabin in the beautiful but isolated Shenandoah Mountains.

When Stitch is alerted to Mia’s arrival in the mountains, he along with Mia’s family are concerned. As Mia’s troubles become clear, Stitch swears to keep her protected in the safety of his cabin.

In close confines, neither can escape their feelings for the other. Inevitably, the two find themselves admitting to their attraction and realize there is much more to bring them together than there is to keep them apart.

But the danger Mia was running from has followed her. And this time she won’t be able to hide. Will they make it out of the mountains alive? And is there any real chance for their fledging romance when Mia’s mysterious savior reveals himself?

This is book five in The Trident Series and it is Stitch and Mia's story and wow it is explosive. Mia works at The New York Riverside Animal Hospital and even though it is tiring and hard work she loves her job as being a get was something that she always wanted to do. Stitch is a navy seal and Mia's brother Ace is his team leader but when Stitch met Mia for the first time they had a instant connection and as they spent time together they realised that they had so much in common and even though they have different career paths they still keep in touch with each other. Mia is attacked really badly and needs to hide out and the only place that she can think of is the cabin that Stitch owns because she knows that when she contacts him the whole group including her brother will come and protect her while they find out what is going on and who is behind everything that is happening. Mia and Stitch are in love with each other and there chemistry is really strong but will it be enough for them to have a future and will Stitch be able to keep Mia safe as danger is closing in fast. I absolutely love this book and series and I can't wait to read the next book as Jaime Lewis is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

This is the fifth book the Trident Series. Another excellent book to add to the series. It's well written, entertaining and packed with a good amount of action and suspense. Exactly what I'm looking for in a military romantic suspense. Stitch is an alpha male without being a complete Neanderthal. He loves Mia and wants to protect her but also recognizes she's independent and fully capable of taking care of herself. This series just keeps getting better. You can read this book as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the series in order. You will see characters from previous books. Mia is Ace's (book 1) younger sister.

Stitch and Mia have been dancing around their attraction to each other for the past year. They've been talking more but because Mia's brother Ace is Stitch's boss the attraction hasn't gone anywhere. Mia's supposed to be home for Thanksgiving and Stitch plans to talk to her and Ace about how he feels and hopefully convince her to move to Virginia Beach to be near him, Only Mia goes missing before that can happen. When they find her, she's been beaten and is on there run from some very bad men. Now Stitch needs to get to the bottom of who Kidnapped and beat her so Mia can be safe again.

Brothers n' Fur and Love

When Mia is involved in a case of Mistaken Identity she's in more trouble than she's ever been in in her Entire Life. Mia works at a Veterinary clinic where there's a lot she doesn't know of, however 1 night her world is turned upside down.
She flees to Stitches' secluded cabin to hide and recover.

Stitch gets a call from his sheriff friend who let's him know his "friend" is at his cabin
& is injured. Stitch, Ace and the entire crew race to the cabin to find out exactly what's happening. Her injuries are worse than they expected. During the visit Stitch has t o declare his Love for Mia, which comes as a bit of a surprise.
Bits and pieces of the story come from some unexpected sources.

This is a Must Read book by Jaime Lewis. I Absolutely Love the story lines that are put in each book, They're Awesome!!! Do yourself a favour and start reading the series.
I would Highly Recommend this Author to Anyone and Everyone at Anytime who love Military Romance with a lot of Love and High amounts of Fun Comments by the Characters.

ENJOY!!!. 😉💜

Mia and Stitch have been stepping around each other for a little while, both trying to save the feelings of his friend/her brother Ace.

They decide to move forward regardless but before anything can happen between the long distance lovers, Mia finds herself innocently dragged into trouble. Kidnapped and beaten she’s rescued by a mystery man and warned to run so heads to Stitch’s mountain retreat.

When stitch is told he and Ace head there and find Mia in a bad way, with no idea why it’s happened. The story follows not only her recovery and the developing love story but also the underlying threat to Mia.

A really great read and really well set up. The first part of the book went a long way to setting the scene but really helped explain the characters.

The birth scene was hilarious though, I really giggled at that.

We have met Stitch and Mia all through this series and now we finally get their story Mia is a vet who is working in a prestigious veterinary clinic in new York but all isn't as it seems and she ends up been grabbed and worked over by mistake Afraid for her life the only place she can think to run is to Stitch cabin failing to show up for the teams Thanksgiving dinner Stitch had been looking forward to reconnecting with Mia there is definitely a spark between them in fact he gave her a key to his cabin so when he gets a phone call from the local sheriff for the town where is cabin is saying his friend Mia is staying there and she is injured he doesn't hesitate to rush to her aid Soon he is in protection mode caring for her but danger is closing in and it will take him and his team to find out what is going on and keep Mia safe With a man from a past and a man who wants to be her future involved she will have decisions to make about what she wants

I have always loved Stitch so was excited when it was finally his turn for a book and who better than he to love Mia Ace's little sister. Mia thought she had a great job even though she worked ridiculously long hours as well as had a boss who even though he is good looking, he is no Stitch. I am not sure how long Stitch and Mia would have danced around their feelings if not for the awful attack on her, but now she needs help and Stitch will do everything in his power to help her. I love how Stitch, Ace, Mia, Alex and all the others are all one big family and will do anything to help each other as well as find out what's going on, so be ready for tears, tension, laughter, sizzling attraction, twists, bad guys, bad guys and a nail biting story that has you turning the page to see how the good guys and love will win in the end.

"Stitch" is the fifth book in the Trident series and it is a fantastic book. The main characters are Navy SEAL Evan "Stitch" Watson and Mia Chambers, who happens to be the sister of Ace, his team leader. There seems to be an unspoken rule about dating one of the teams family and although they have a crush on one another, Mia and Stitch both feel like nothing can come of it.
Mia has recently graduated and is now a veterinarian, the owner of the clinic she works for has put a lot more responsibility on her and all she does is work. When a case of mistaken identity gets Mia mixed up in a crime ring, an unlikely savior tells her to run and she does, straight to a cabin in the Shenandoah mountains that happens to belong to Stitch. When Stitch is notified of her arrival at his cabin, nothing, not even her brother will stop him from going to her to find out what is going on and to keep her safe from any further danger.
This one is loaded with suspense, action, danger, passion and love!!

I love these books and this author and would recommend you start with book 1 to get to know all the characters and storylines.

This is my first read from the author and I loved it! There was lots of drama and suspense, it really had me gripped from the start. Mia finds herself in a lot of trouble through no fault of her own, she needs to leave New York and the only place she can think of without putting her family and friends in danger is Stitch’s cabin. Stitch is in love with Mia, however due to his loyalty to his friend Ace, he hasn’t acted on it, until he finds out she is in danger. I loved this book. Loved this characters and really enjoyed how the story was told from different points of view. I can’t wait to read other books from this author.

This is the fifth book in the series and continues to be intriguing and enjoyable. Navy Seal, Evan ‘Stitch’ Watson and Mia have been attracted to each other for some time now. But both of them have been hesitant to pursue any kind of relationship because of Mia’s brother, Stitch’s team leader, Ace. Before Stitch can reconsider and “test the waters” with Mia, a case of mistaken identity puts her in dangerous trouble with a crime ring. Someone tells her to run, and she heads for Stitch’s mountain cabin to hide. Will Stitch and the guys figure it out and get there before the bad guys track her down? Will Stitch and Mia be brought closer together by the incident and be ready now to let Ace know they are a couple?

Stitch

Stitch is the fifth book in Lewis's Trident Series. This story starts of at a fast pace, but than slows to a steady flow. Stitch is the leading male lead and Mia is his leading lady. Mia has landed in the middle of a huge criminal operation but she has no clue what is happening until it's too late. Mia will fight for freedom and go to the one place she knows she will be safe. Stitch will finally admit his feelings about Mia to both Mia and Ace. Mia will go the extra mile to tell Stitch how she feels. Their love for each other is beautiful and it feels like they have been together forever.
Stitch will pull out all the stops to protect Mia but in the end the ladies will save the day. Stitch is a filled with suspense, angst, humor and love. Happy Reading!!

This is the first book I've read in the series and it was easy to catch up with the cast of characters. Book 5 revolves around the romance of Mia and Stitch with plenty of bad guys, hot SEALs and suspense. Mia is caught up in puppy trafficking and barely escapes with her life to a cabin owned by Stitch. Mia is strong and capable, but the author did skirt the very edge of a couple of TSTL moments. I liked that the book did not contain the usual angst of Stitch falling in love with his best friend's baby sister. It was an engaging read and although it had a minor skeptical moment in the action towards the end, it was enjoyable.

This was a great fast-paced suspense filled (and super sweet) romance story. Mia and Stitch couldn’t be be better placed than with one another and his devotion (and the whole team) is really touching. With Mia on the run from traffickers and up to her neck in trouble, the gang is more than willing to drop everything and help her out. Stitch is also wanting to let her know how he feels. I really don’t think that I could have devoured the book any faster and so far I think that it’s the best one in the series. I do think that it is helpful if you’ve read the other books first

Sigh..... I absolutely adored Stitch and Mia’s story. Combine a hot alpha navy seal with a soft squishy heart of gold and you can’t stop yourself from falling a little in love with Stitch. Mia was such a wonderful character to get to know. Such a beautiful person inside and out plus smart as a whip and a side of stubborn that sees her through some tough times. This series just keeps getting better and better with all the suspense, heat, action, and love. If I could rate this higher than a five star I definitely would I’m a heartbeat!

* * * 5 Stars * * *

I am a huge fan of the romantic suspense genre and this author is new to the scene but one I will definitely follow. I've only read two of her Trident series and loved them both - easily read as standalones. The writing, the characters, the storylines but especially the romance and the suspense make this such an enjoyable read as this author perfectly balances out the latter two to perfection. Have already pre-ordered the next in series and hoping this author adds more titles to her repertoire. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

New York to Virginia

Mia is Ace's baby sister. The general rule is don't date family, meaning family members of your teammates. Well, Stitch is in love with Mia and when she gets kidnapped and severely beaten, he's there for her.
It gets ugly, there are criminal enterprises with millions involved, and she wasn't the one that was supposed to be the target. But now, they need go finds her and keep her quiet. Not what you expect for a new veterinarian just building a reputation. Good thing the team is all over keeping her safe.

addicting series

I haven’t read the whole Trident series, or even read them in order. But it doesn’t matter. Lewis creates addicting characters and storylines that are easy to jump into and enjoy. There’s a good amount of suspense and romance. I love the banter between characters. There is a fun chemistry between them all. Just enough suspense to make you guess when the bad guy is going to hit, but it is easy to tell who and what is coming.

Stitch & Mia

This is the fifth book in the series and it was so good. Stitch and Mia have been dancing around with their attraction to each other for over a year. Stitch is just about to start doing something about pursuing Mia, when she lands in trouble, huge trouble. Stitch and the guys run to the rescue and lots of twists and turns ensues.

This is book five of nine in the The Trident Series series by Jaime Lewis. This book was not one of my favorites. I had a problem with the characters and their interactions. I have enjoyed books by this author in the past and especially anything SEALS, but I just could not get into this one.

Not great and no sex

I thought the plot was silly but I went with it. Lots of typos and I felt confused at times about certain scenes. It didnt impact the rest of the story so I didn't give up. However, waited the entire book for something saucy and was so disappointed. Not a touch or hint of sexy.

What a ride

What a ride that was!! From beginning to end this book is filled with suspense and intrigue. Storyline flows perfectly and the best part of this series is that all your favorites are in it too!! My heart did feel for Potter during his children's birth. Loved the comaderie and the fact that the women are just as strong as the men. Looking forward to Dino's story.
