A goodwill visit to Sudan, what could possibly go wrong?
Former US marine sniper turned musician, Nicholas Sharp is performing as part of a cultural group representing the US. Suddenly caught up in the middle of a political coup, the leader of the American contingent goes missing, his security detail murdered. Communication with the outside world is cut off. It falls to Sharp and Greatrex to track their missing leader down. But then, things get really complicated…
Somewhere between Clancy’s Jack Ryan and Ludlum’s Jason Bourne , Nicholas Sharp may be a flawed and reluctant hero, but you sure as hell want him on your side.

Without a doubt this is a cracking novel. Yet again Nicholas is in the thick of it even though he should just be a musician. Part of a group doing a cultural tour of Sudan, everything goes wrong when a terrorist army kidnap the Vice President of America. Nicholas and Jack find a way with a little help to locate the camp where the VP is being held. The story then keeps at you in leaps and bounds! Full of action all the way. Just brilliant!
