L A COTTON is USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of over forty mature young adult and new adult novels, LA COTTON is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.
Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time writer with being a mother/referee to two little people. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find LA immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.
L A loves connecting with readers, and you can find her at:
this is mostly for PART I (jason and felicity) because their book is the only one i read in this series. jason and felicity's relationship was always volatile and their section of the epilogue definitely explores that. i love how felicity's feelings of inadequacy because of jason's superstar football career was addressed as well as the jealousy issues both have. jason being so single-minded about football and thinking about how to balance football and felicity was a realistic struggle and idk it just clicked for me.
i wish their section had been expanded into a novella tbh because while they're the only couple in the series that interested me, their relationship is way more likeable here than it was in their own book.
the epilogue shows the children of all the couples and we got confirmation that there will be a next generation series, with the first book following lily ford who is jason and felicity's daughter so i'm definitely looking forward to reading that!
The Endgame is You is a sweet additional story of the Rixon Raiders series. In this book we follow the life of our heroes and heroines. They all happy with their college experience. Each couple is still pretty much in love.
There are bit drama/ twist from Miss Cotton. Although the drama is light and a bit OTT dramatic/ cheesy.
This was a cute little addition and was a good time considering how attached I got to all these characters and wanted to see how their lives were going but like ... Cameron’s parents aka the only stable parents of the bunch deserved better.
What an fantastic read! The Endgame Is You is the fourth and final book in the Rixon Raiders series by L.A. Cotton. The book is told in three parts with each focusing on one of the beloved Rixon couples. Their stories were beautifully written and completely captivated me with the emotional depth and intensity. I felt so many things at so many different times. It was an endless array of emotions. One minute I was smiling, the next I was crying, and then I was swooning. It's just that kind of book. A book of endless feels. So grab a glass of wine and some tissues, kick up your feet and get busy reading. Five stars and so many more for the Rixon couples and The Endgame Is You!
The endgame is you is a snapshot into the future of the three couples in the series. It cannot be read as a standalone.
This was like 3 mini stories guiding us through the college years. Each couple has it’s difficulties and the endings are even sweeter. This was great closure on the guys we’ve come to love.
The couples went to college in different places so the bond is sometimes long distance but once a Raider always a Raider. The end game is you is well worth the read.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I listened to the first 3 books via audiobook and have loved this journey.
2,5 Perché alcune autrici continuano queste serie all'infinito?
“Love doesn’t make us weak, it makes us strong.” “We’re endgame.”
LA Cotton exceeded my expectations with this emotional final book for the Rixon Raiders series. Each couple has their own story during the four years of college while also weaving in their group friendship and of course some great football scenes.
“love had no limits. It was hard and messy and chaotic, but worth the fight and the tears and the heartache. Love was what made us human.”
As individuals they are growing and as couples trying to figure out their future relationship while having the loyalty of their friends to lean on. They all struggled, hurt, loved, fought and wanted their own HEA
An Epic football romance series that will have your heart “Property of a Raider” forever!
What. A. Ending! L.A. is the queen of ending a series on a high. The Rixon Boys will always hold a special place in my heart. The ending of this series was everything and more. Each individual story between our beloved couples was breath taking.
JASE AND FEE- I dont know what to say about them besides how much they grew. Youll get to experience more of Jason and his football journey in college. How will they overcome his popularity? They are without a doubt endgame!
ASHER AND MAYA- Asher has the biggest heart and that didnt change while in college. His and Maya's relationship really blossomed in this one.
And last but not least. Hailee and Cam stole my heart in this one. Their ending made me cry multiple times. There were moments that broke my heart and I didn't know if they would be able to come back from what they go through. There were also moments were I would scream for Hailee to be selfish just this once. She really is the one character who has this heart of gold. She knew what Cam needed and gave it to him no matter her feelings on it.
I absolutely loved this whole series. I'm sad to see it end but can't wait for the next generation 😉
This got me on so many levels and I cannot believe that we just reached the final of Rixon Raiders. I’m already so tempted to read all the books all over again because this series is one of the best and deserves all the love.
The sequel tells stories of each couple and their struggles at college. Each story is different and beautifully written. I love that Cotton wrote about some oh their issues and showed us that every relationship has its up and downs, and not everything goes smoothly.
Felicity and Jason.. I wasn’t surprised by their struggles. I kind of expected an issue like this, because they are both so different, but that’s what makes their relationship unique and beautiful. They were my favourite couple in the series and here it just proved why. And again Jason Ford proved what a hero he is. Football and Felicity are the most important things in his life and here he shows us how he tries to balance it to be happy. It’s obviously hard, but he still manages to prove Felicity how important she is.
Asher and Mya.. Their story was kind of different than the others, yet it was great to see how they managed their college and relationship life. Asher again showed how caring boyfriend he is and that he would do anything for Mya.
Cameron and Hailee.. my babies. Their story was the most emotional and I had to put it down several times because it was too hard to read about Cams pain. I’m glad their story was left as the last one because it was the perfect ending of this all.
I will repeat myself, but this was a perfect ending for such a good series. I loved the characters, the main couples, and mainly the friendship these six people had. It made me cry, it made me laugh, it made me feel all the emotions. I’m glad all of them find their perfect endgame.

With this last book in this series, L.A. Cotton delivered quite fantastic final. As this book is built in three parts, we follow all three couples chasing their HEA. We see them struggling in the most touching and sensitive ways. We find them even more vulnerable than we already know they are and it almost broke my heart in the end. My heart was crying out loud because it was so deeply touched. If you've loved the series before, this book will definitely push you over the edge.
"We were young. Three guys chasing their dreams of football, fame and fortune. But we'd already found our forever girls. And that was worth everything. Every fucking thing."
Have you ever wonder after finishing a book, what these people would be after??? Are they still living their HEA??? Or the happiness just lasted that much??? Well, with this book, Lianne is going a step ahead of us and she's presenting us the after... After Cameron & Hailee, Jason & Felicity, Asher & Mya's happily ever afters... and I couldn't be more happy than I am!!!! I loved returning back to this series and to see these guys for once again!!!
"It was the end of an era. No more Raiders, no more high school, but a new adventure."
In here, a new chapter is starting on everyone's life... The guys are leaving behind Rixon Raiders and they are spreading their wings to fly with their girls by their side... These lovely girls that are chasing their own dreams. College is a new beginning and the temptations are too many... Will these three couples survive it and have the ultimate HEA??? Of course, the road ahead of them is too long and full of bumps. Will their love survive this new challenge that awaits them???
"College was a big step. Things would change. We would change. But was Asher right? Were the bonds between us strong enough to survive?"
Jason is my most favorite in this series and I loved seeing his crazy and possessive ass for once again... Jason was the best football player out there and a bright future awaits him around the corner. He and Felicity are holding still strong, but on their sophomore year, everything are changing... The doubts are barelling toward both of them and the things are pretty rocky between them... I really loved Jason and Felicity!!! Yes, i could understand Felicity and her insecurities, but Jason never stopped being crazy in love with her and i loved him for that!!!
"No matter where the future took us, my heart would always belong to Jason Ford."
"Losing Felicity was not an option. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever."
Asher and Mya were in a very good place... until they weren't.... And not because of them, but because of others... For once again, Asher was his usual needy self, but hell, the way that he was loving Mya was beyond imagination. He was living for her and he could do anything for her.... Mya was a very lucky girl, who could persuade her dreams with the support of the man of her dreams...
"Asher was everything I never wanted... and everything I never knew I needed."
"I was a Bennet. I had a game pla. one that included me and Mya and a happily-ever-after."
As for Cameron and Hailee??? Unfortunately, they were in the worst position of everyone... My heart was breaking for these two and the things that they had to sacrifice for the others... They almost lost everything, but love is powerful enough to bring them back to each other... Cameron was in a very difficult dilemma and Hailee broke her own heart in order to set him free and put out the weight from Cameron's shoulders!!!
"Why, every time he left, did it feel like the space between us grew?"
"Xander was family, my blood, and everything in me was screaming at me that he needed me... but Hailee, she was my heart, my home. How the fuck was I supposed to choose between them?
I love these three couples very much and I'm kinda sad that i have for once again to let go of them, but the next generation is coming and honestly, I can not wait to see more of them... If you haven't read this series, please do it!!!! I can't recommend them enough!!!
"PLAY HARDER, WORK HARDER... LOVE HARDER, AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW."

⭐️ 5 "Love Hard" Stars ⭐️ Oh, how I missed the Raiders and their girls! I was so excited to dive into The Endgame Is You and watch their relationships grow through their college experiences. These three couples made me fall in love with them all over again with this novel being the perfect extended epilogue to the Rixon Raiders Series.
Jason has grown so much since his arrogant ways in high school. His love for Felicity is so palpable and truly magnificent. Football is his passion and it shows in college with his dedication to the sport. But his true love is Felicity! Being so invested with his team creates a certain distance between Jase and Felicity. She’s hurting with doubts about the future of their relationship. I loved how they navigate these difficult moments and how Jason steps up and proves that she’s the most important thing in his life. He had me swooning hard for him.
Then we have Asher and Mya! This couple lives their love life so beautifully. They’re the perfect couple, always there for each other. Asher is still the same jokester, but at the same time he’s so far gone for Mya. There’s no doubt in his mind that she’s the one and that makes him even more endearing! He’s the ever supportive boyfriend to her and her dreams. Mya is the same confident girl, driven and selfless in her desire to help others.
Finally, there’s Hailey and Cameron. I must admit that those two broke my little heart! I was in agony for them! As much as they love each other so deeply, their relationship is tested when Cam’s family suffers some hard time. Between his college life miles away from Rixon with Hailey and being supportive of his family’s hardship is nearly impossible. He needs to decide what are his priorities and make difficult choices that had me teary-eyed.
Seriously, all three couples had me entranced by their journeys! I enjoyed that in spite of the distance between these friends, they’re always available to help each other against the hurdles life puts in their ways. Their bond is unbreakable and utterly mesmerizing. They’re more than friends: they’re family! The Endgame Is You is without a doubt my favorite book in this series! The level of feels these pages delivers had me captivated all read long. I’m now so eager for the next generation of Raiders coming next year!!!

Oh my god, my heart! This is the series that introduced me to L A Cotton so it will always be special to me but she managed to make it even more special with this series epilogue. This book was so emotional.
You get to see them all say godbye to each other in the prologue before they head off to college and then the book is divided into three parts, each one for each couple and wow. They were all so good. They packed a punch, specially Cam and Hailee. That one had me bawling. My babies go through so much.
You get to see all three couples take on college and you seem them struggle with this new chapter in their lives and how these changes affect their relationship. It's heartwrenching, it's sexy, it's emotional, it is everything! I loved getting to see all these characters again and see them love each other so much they were willing to do anything for each other and to keep their relationship.
The Endgame is You is one of the best endings to a series I've read. Everything came full circle and you were able to see again how much they all loved each other. It was beautiful and it was just so good to hang out with these characters again. I'm so excited to see them as parents and to meet their kids!

I’ve been putting off reading this because I genuinely didn’t want to admit that the Rixon Raiders series was over. LA Cotton is an incredible author and I’ve loved every moment of this journey. Essentially an extended epilogue, each couple get their own section in this final book, and if you think it’s all sunshine and roses while they navigate their new lives together, you’d be dead wrong! I was an emotional wreck the whole way through, but it wasn’t until I got to Cam and Hailees story that the tears started flowing and wouldn’t stop. Asher was always my favourite; the joker of the pack, crying out for someone to love him, so I was so happy to see how much he’d grown and how strong his relationship was with Mya. It was also great to see that Jason had mellowed a little; although he’s still pretty possessive when it comes to Felicity. Overall I would highly recommend this to fans of sports romance. Starts from the beginning and thank me when you fall in love with all these awesome characters.
„It was the end of an era. No more Raiders, no more high school, but a new adventure.”
Knowing that this is the end for my beloved Rixon Raiders makes me want to sit in a corner and start sobbing. These stories are THAT epic. L.A. Cotton outdid herself with creating this Young Adult series and these characters. And even though saying goodbye to them is bittersweet, I smile through tears because the epilogue in The Endgame Is You was incredibly heartwarming and touching.
This book gave me an insight into the lives of all 3 couples. Each of them ended up at a different university and had to struggle not only with missing friends, new responsibilities and new surroundings. Each couple faced their own set of problems. At times my heart was breaking in two and I wanted to get inside this book and put all the characters in a bubble wrap and protect them from pain, disappointment and heartbreak. But I didn't have to do it because Cameron, Jason, and Asher once again proved that they would do WHATEVER IT TAKES! And watching them fight and love as hard as they showed us in the past was an amazing experience.
The Endgame Is You is a perfect addition to the series I fell deeply in love with. It was so good to get back with my favorite boys and their ladies and to see how college life is treating them. And although there were moments of angst and sadness in this book, I finished reading it with the biggest grin on my face and my heart full. I cannot wait for the 2nd generation series! I’m sure the kiddos will give their folks a run for their money and I’m here for it all!
I was all up in my feels with this book. The OG Raiders hold a special place in my heart and L.A Cotton knocked me on my cute little behind with Cam, Jase and Asher’s stories after high school. I didn’t think I could fall in love with the characters more than I already am but the author never ceases to amaze me and made me fall—harder than ever. I’m sad that it’s over but their legacy will live on. This is definitely an unputdownable, epic must read series!
A complete and well-balanced wrap-up for the three main couples in this sports-related college romance with an Epilogue that gives fans a view of their adulthood friendships, marriages and families.
The Endgame Is You follows each couple throughout their college years, essentially these are mini stories for each couple. Although each couple is at different colleges, they hold such a tight bond to each other. They are always there for each other. Once a Raider, always a Raider.
*Disclaimer* It is a part of a series and cannot be read as a standalone.
Each couple has it’s difficulties but you see their vulnerabilities as well as the strength they have to overcome some of the biggest hurdles in their lives. I felt this book was so worth reading as it gave great closure on the group we’ve come to love.
The book is broken up into different years - Prologue (summer before college), Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year. Each year focuses specifically on one couple.
Felicity and Jason:
These two have always been my favorite! I feel it is needed to be said on the HUGE character development of Jason. He grew up and changed a lot as he is not the same arrogant boy with the sole focus on football. Jason was so volatile in the beginning books and treated Felicity horribly when they were hooking up. But when Jason fell... he fell completely and loved hard.
". . . play harder, work harder… love harder, and the rest will follow."
Out of all the couples, I truly enjoyed seeing how they navigated their insecurities and became stronger together.
"Our love was like wildfire. It burned constantly. Throw water on it and it simmered to a gentle flicker, but add a strong wind and it became an inferno. Ferocious and unpredictable."
Lastly, the only thing I wasn't a fan of with this book was Hailee and Cameron's HEA. I felt it was rushed at the end. There was really no time to see how they handled things with Xander after the big bombshell was dropped. I wanted a better glimpse into how they balanced family, finishing school, and other things going on.
Who knew that a whole ass book-lenght epilogue would be better than the books?😅🤣
All the main couples are in college, living the life, loving each other, planning for the future and navigating different kind of relationship problems that can arise every day. This was so realistic and wholesome, I somehow got emotional 🤷🏼♀️😇😅
And for some weird reason, despite finding this series kind of average, I really got attached to the heroes. Their friend group withstanding everything through the years is a dream everyone has at some point in their life 💕💘
I laughed so hard, when Jason Ford - the guy who was hardest to get - was the first one to propose and with that much style👑🥵❤ Plus, I loved the fact that he remained the captain of their friend group through the year, always supportive and there for his friends! 💕
I read the trilogy at the beginning of the year right when the third book, The Harder You Fall, released and Cameron was my favorite all three books...until Endgame. Don't get me wrong, I *adore* Jason and Asher but Cameron had a special piece of my heart, until JASON STOLE IT IN ENDGAME. I am officially a Jason stan, thank you for letting me join the club lol.
I loved being able to go back to 3 of my favorite boys! I cried the entire time reading this because I knew that it would really be the last we saw of them from their POV's. I'm super excited for the next generation but if I could keep getting more books from all three couples' POV, I would gladly accept that lol.
Each story was different and I love that none of the couples had the same issues because that would have gotten repetitive. If I could rate this book more than 5 stars I would! This is now one of my 2020 favorites and I'm about to start pushing the Raiders onto all of my friends lol.
I seriously did not think I could love these couples anymore than I already did. I was so wrong. Jason and Felicity had me smiling wide. Jason has definitely changed for the better. He won Felicity's heart but he also won mine. Asher and Mya melted my heart. Asher is SUCH a lover. These two compliment each others so perfectly. Then we have Cameron and Hailee. I may be in the minority when I say this, but these two have been my favorite from the very beginning. AND THEY HAD ME BALLING!! I loved Cam to death but I wanted to smack that man! I got where he was coming from but come on!! I loved to see the relationship Jason and Hailee had also. It was a complete 180 from the 1st book. I loved this!! I will definitely miss these 6 people. But I look forward to their next journey. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

I have no words for how much I love The Endgame is You! LA Cotton brought back all three couples in one epic conclusion to the series. I laughed, and I cried. I left every word of this book in my heart. I guess I didn't realize how much I love these characters until they were gone.
Jason and Felicity were couple one and man did they have me in tears. But I have to say Jason Ford stepped up when it was needed and fixed both Felicity's and my broken hearts. Being the starting quarterback that everyone wanted a piece of really caused Jason to lose sight of what he found most important. He absolutely took Felicity for granted. While Jason was living his best life Felicity was struggling and in turn had to get a tutor. A very male tutor who was definitely into her and didn't like Jason. I cried a lot of tears at the end of their part.
Asher and Mia are absolutely unbreakable. Or so you think. It's amazing how one mean girl can bully you into thinking you think something else than you do. I didn't find them as emotional and worry about them ending because it's not who they are. They had been through too much to end it because of one heartbroken girl. I think their issues were definitely growing pains in a relationship as they grow.
Cameron and Hailee broke me for the second time in this book. I can't imagine being in Cameron's shoes and not knowing what is right. All I know is that when Hailee went back to Michigan I cried real ugly tears. It was painful to read.
LA Cotton delivered an angsty, emotional, rollercoaster of an ending for these Raiders. She had me on the edge of my seat needing more. I read the entire book in one sitting and then another time after that. Yes, I read it twice before release day. And no I'm not sorry. This may be one of my favorite LA Cotton books.
“It was the end of an era. No more Raiders, no more high school, but a new adventure.”
Bittersweet. Addicting. Breath of fresh air.
Cotton has masterfully created a world of characters that complete captured my soul. These Raiders and their fiery women have taken me by storm. The characters are unforgettable and their stories are completely captivating.
The Endgame is You follows the stories of Hailee and Cameron, Jason and Felicity, and Asher and Mya. These three power couples all had their own stories back in The Trouble With You, The Game You Play and The Harder You Fall. Make sure you head back and read those three stories FIRST tog eat the full feel of all of these amazing characters.
Endgame was bittersweet but everything us Rixon fans needed. I love nothing more than getting extra bonus scenes from stories that I love, but this took the cake. I laughed, I cried, I smiled.. I loved being back in Rixon.
I can’t wait to see what Cotton creates next. I’ll be looking forward to it!
“There had once been a time I’d thought football was everything… but football was the dream. This right here, this was the life. It was everything.”
