I will retire at 40 in Switzerland. This book will teach you how.
Have you ever wanted to be free to devote your time to your personal projects such as starting your own business or going on a world tour for a year? Have you ever been fed up with those useless meetings and managers who inspire you to do only one thing: quit your job for good (if only you could...)?
Except that you have to have time and money to do all these things... or be retired, but that means waiting until you’re 65... You could take a few months of unpaid leave, but it would only be temporary, then you would have to come back to the harsh reality...
That’s why I created my own solution to stop having to work at the age of 40 in Switzerland. This guide details my step-by-step recipe of how to achieve financial independence, so that you can do the same.
Pssst... if you’re already past 40, this book is also for you, because it will allow you to stop having to work ten or fifteen years before the legal retirement age!

I’m a follower of Marc’s blog and I bought the ebook in the hopes of getting some valuable new information. I have to say I was VERY disappointed by both the content and the writing. The content is not more than the blog essential concepts in one place, which would still be OK if it wasn’t so painful to read. I understand the author advocates for frugality, but do pay someone to revise and edit your book before you publish one. Especially if you’re writing in a language that is not your native one. Credibility as an author has value.
The other very annoying point for me was how the book made VERY evident how closed-minded and unawarely sexist the author is. So you saved money by having your wife stay at home? Great for you, but what does that add to me as a female reader looking to seek FIRE herself? What if the author’s marriage doesn’t work anymore in the future? How will this choice of staying at home affect the wife’s future career and FIRE prospects?
I knew I was taking a risk by purchasing a self-published ebook, but I’m leaving this review in the hopes that others won’t waste their money on this.

I thought about investing few times during the past few years but I never took the step out of fear. This book helped me to learn many new concepts and to be less scared about starting my investing adventure. Even if you do not want to invest, this book teach you some ways to save money in switzerland.
I liked a lot the style of writing. Being a tech nerd (as the author) I found the chapters very easy to read and I did not get bored at any point of the book
