I did enjoy reading this story but the only thing that annoyed me a bit is that we didnt get to find out why in fact the brothers were reaping their revenge against Vidal until a bit later in the story. I found the plot really good and the storyline itself was great I loved that it was dark and i thought the whole thing was really interesting to the very end with the twists and turn the book takes. I loved Vidals character because really given what she went though i thought she was quite strong in herself and even though she was betrayed by her father she still had the courage to lift her head high. As for Alrick as you read though the story I suppose you can forgive him for been like he was. He fell hard for Vidal even though he really didnt want to show it.... because after all she really was his.....

For a good story all round i have given this 4 stars

Adric and his brothers Lazar and Rohan have started the path to their revenge and taking Vidal is the beginning.
They will take what they want from her until there is nothing left of what she once was and they might sell her off or kill her what ever the wish to do.
Adric finds he is drawn to her the tiny fragile woman, but he still will use her hard and share her with his brothers but not as freely as he is used to.
Vidal awakes to find she is not where she should be and she is scared these big scary men have her and she wants to go home.
When Adric starts to use her the last thing Vidal thought would happen is the response her body has towards him.
Will the men use her up and be done with her or will Adric keep her for himself.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Adric is looking for someone to atone for the sins committed. Vidal is kidnapped and the brothers plan to make her pay for something she does not even know about. When she learns the truth about her father and the things he has done, things change. She is definitely not her fathers daughter. She is everything he is not and Adric and his brothers see this. The characters and storyline are well written. It was a little hard to get into at the beginning, but things started making sense not far into the book

Vidal has been kidnapped and held by 3 very different brothers. Aderic is looking for revenge against her father and using her to get it. Vidal thought she knew her father and he had always treated her as a princess. Through all of this she finds out her father was nothing like she thought. Very good read and the plot takes many twists and turns.

He was to be king, She was sold by her father to be his queen all when they were but children, but a war and assassination led by her corrupt father tried to end his kingdom and him with it.
This was a great read filled with dark gritty themes, tons of power exchange and a sassy but strong submissive who saves her Master.

This book was hard to get into. I was at about 50% before I figured out what was going on. Vidal has been taken by Adric. He wants to punish her for something that happened in the past. But, Vidal is a sweet, naïve young woman and he and his brothers have a hard time being callous towards her. There is an eventual HEA, but you need to persevere to get to it.

You will not put this book down till the very end. The story pulls you in and holds you there. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts. The story is well written, full of twists and turns and keep you glued. A fantastic read. This is the first book in this series and I can't wait for the next one.

Quick Summary
Set in the an alternate universe, the brothers are exiled princes, heirs to a kingdom that was destroyed by Vidal’s father. To exact their revenge, they kidnap Vidal and hold her until all their other pieces are in place.

The oldest brother and the natural leader, Aldric wants to see Vidal only as a pawn and is enraged that her softness and innocence, things he should hate her for, call to him on a deeper level. But too much is riding on Aldric and Vidal and loyalty to his family will always come first.

Vidal never imagined she’d be kidnapped and held in the catacombs of the palace, made to suffer humiliation and degradation at the hands of three brothers with burning anger and even darker passions.

They all take their pound of flesh for sins they claim her father is responsible for. But with each encounter, Vidal finds her body awakening to needs beyond her control. And Aldric is the only one that can calm her.

The whole world is upside down and Vidal and Aldric will have to carve out their own path to come out on top or be dragged under by the sins of others.

🖤 ~ My Thoughts ~ 🖤
This was border line crazy! I went in with a little trepidation but the intrigue outweighed it so I jumped right in and . . . not gonna lie! I had to come to a screeching halt almost right from the start.

The author doesn’t pull any punches when she says this is an enemies to lovers trope and our Heroes are hell bent and mighty determined to extract their revenge no matter what innocent gets dragged under. Vidal was just the unlucky pawn in the grand scheme of things.

There was a lot I wasn’t okay with and a lot had to do with the kinks explored here, not being for me. Mainly sharing (even though they stop before actually having full on sex with OP – I prefer my MCs to only getting sexy with each other. Then there’s the fact that the insta love was literally instant without any really reason behind Vidal’s sudden need to cling to Aldric other than Stockholm syndrome. I needed a bit more emotional depth before the ILYs and complete about faces these two did.

I liked that she preferred him over the other guys and Aldric had that whole sexy broody, possessive alpha thing going on when his jealousy started to spill over so there were things I definitely enjoyed about the story.

I’m curious as hell to find out what is going on with Rohan and his captor! I was too skeeved out about Laz’ love interest offering herself to Aldric for BJ to want to continue their story arc but I’ll never say never!

Heroine is 27 and a virgin.

Heat Level: 3/5 This kink isn’t my jam but others might enjoy it more.

This is a simply amazing read that will hold your attention completely
Adric has been waiting a lifetime to seek retribution on the people that hurt him and his brothers in the worst way possible and they have focused their attention on individual and when they have her in their hands, they intend to make her pay.
Vidal has no idea why the heavily scarred man has removed her from her home and is now treating her as though she is the lowest thing in life, when she begins to learn the facts, she is horrified by the terror and inhuman behaviour of her father and her proposed fiancé.
Read this amazing story and discover the truth and you will be absolutely stunned by this story; the characters and the plot were so well written you will be simply amazed and I know that you will be as blown away as me.

Adric takes Vidal and is set on revenge against her father. While with Adric, Vidal begins to learn the truth about her own family and her fiancé. Soon sparks are flying between Adric and Vidal. Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Loads of twists and turns and characters with great depth and intense chemistry. I liked it.
