31 Kisses (Beneventi"s Family #.05) is just the beginning. We get the little crumbs with the wtf prologue, and the beginning of what seems is going to be a fabulous series. Very exciting start, and I can't wait to read book one. A Mafia story bleeding with suspense and ending that leaves you craving more than crumbs.

This is the first book I've read by Sonya Jesus and I truly enjoyed the intricate storyline and characters. Kelsie grew up as a mob princess, until her father, a hitman for the mafia, was murdered then she was adopted by the Boss. Grooming her to become the family's assassin, and continue in her father's footsteps, Costa Beneventi swears they are avenging her father's murder. She must kill everyone on the list, all thirty-one people, but #31 is elusive and cannot be found. Kelsie's relationships with her adoptive brothers are polar opposites. Breaker is set to take his father's place and Kelsie detests the man. On the other hand, Stone wants to be as far from his family and their business as possible and she adores him.
Luckily for him, he's about to graduate from college and leave the state. Through Stone Kelsie met Hayden and while he is a complication that keeps her 'normal,' but she knows assassins don't fall in love. Hayden hides secrets of his own, those even Stone isn't privy too. This story is laced with secrets and a sensual undercurrent between Kelsie and Hayden. There are a lot of layers to this story, layers the reader will enjoy peeling away to get to the heart of the story. Ms. Jesus's characters are well-developed and the plots and subplots well thought out and intriguing. The book checks all the boxes: angsty, intrigue, suspense, betrayal, humor, passion and loyalty. This is the beginning of what is sure to be a kick-ass mafia series to come from this author.

What a kickass heroine!! I loved Kelsie even if she’s a few shy of having a good conscience. A young woman with a hit list as a mafia assassin she’s unapologetic about her life choices including her love for a hunky college frat boy, Hayden. The romance is not the usual young love but it’s sweet and sexy. The twist was obvious but the outcome was the real story. Would the two survive the fallout when the truth comes out? That truth had a lot of surprises that affected Kelsie, Hayden and her Beneventi brothers, Breaker and Stone. Terrific writing, fabulous characters and a dark, twisted mafia story. Lots of heinous brutality in this mafia world. Not for the faint of heart. I hope we get more of Kelsie and Hayden. I need Hayden’s full story. The morally corrupt and twisted Breaker is up next and I can’t wait for his cringe-worthy acts of depravity as the new boss of the Beneventi family. This author is new to me and I can’t wait for more. I’m probably going to be squinting with horror at some of the despicable acts in this brutal mafia world.

Wow, this is a great story .
Kelsie thinks she's killing to avenge her fathers death .
Hayden/Jason is in hiding, he knows he will lose his life if he doesn't stay hidden .
The only thing that makes Kelsie & Hayden feel at peace is each other .
Stone wants nothing to do with the life he was born into . Kelsie is family, but not by blood , & Hayden is his best friend , more like a brother .
They need each other to right a wrong , but once that's done what's the price they will have to pay .

The book is a good dark romantic suspense read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is a good read for anyone that likes action packed romance with many twists and turns in the story line. The story is a good mix of action, suspense, and romance read.

This was a good read. The charters were will developed and the story was easy to follow. I'm not a real mafia book kind of gal but I love this author. Story is about Kelsie and Hayden who have both had tragedies that changed their lives for ever. These tragedies have made them who they are today but both want something better the love that is missing. Will they get the love or will more tragedies keep them apart.

Two people lost their families too soon and this placed them both on a path they never expected to be on. There is a lot of action, as one would expect from a mafia romance. There is also a lot of romance as two broken souls meet and click with each other as they search for the one thing they have been denied – love. The characters are well written and the plot is solid, a wonderful book to read.

31 kisses is a great mafia romance story about two people revenging a loss from their pasts. Kelsie uses her toughness to work through those responsible for her father’s death while Hayden hides from those that are hunting him down. They use each other to help recover from the loss and fall in love during the process, with a great twist in the end. Sonya is a talented author and i look forward to reading more of her work.

An incredible story that keeps you captivated from the first page. I loved reading this book. Hayden is hiding his true self from this close friends but for very valid reasons. He needs to protect himself, however Kelsie has hot under his skin, but Kelsie is not all that she seems. This book is intriguing, crime, passion, love & moving forward. An amazing read, that you will love. Xx

This is a good action packed mafia romance that will pull you in and have you hooked right from the start. I just loved Kelsie and Hayden they have both had some tough times that made them who they are but they want to be different. A super read I enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading more

What happens when you fall in love while just trying to stay alive. When kelsie loses her father she is tasked with a list of names to avenge his death. She ends up finding that it is easier to get by doing her job if she has Hayden. Will they make it or come to a tragic end. This is a must read.

A mafia story that has plenty of twists and turns. From start to finish this story will pull you in keeping you on the edge of your seat and wanting to know more. The characters were well written. The action, romance, and suspense of this story never faltered. I would recommend this read and cannot wait to see where this story will go.
