A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over twenty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.

Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!

When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

First and foremost, I HATE the cover of this book. This is Nikki’s story, yet the cover is of a snowboarder. Why? I had to get that off my chest….

This book starts with Nikki Drake having recently moved to Wyoming with her three best friends from California to start her life over. Nikki has giant walls built up around her heart, after being abandoned when she was nine by a family member. She was deeply affected by this, and then to top it off, she was treated poorly by her mother and two sisters, which is what finally sent her over the edge.

Once in Wyoming, she begins a sexual relationship with Luke Townsend. Luke is a professional snowboarder who is training for the Olympics. Despite knowing that Nikki doesn’t want anything more than sex, Luke falls in love with her, and when he tells her, she freaks out and breaks off their relationship.

Luke decided he wasn’t done with Nikki, so he agrees to just be her friend. Luke is such a great character. I really loved him. He was an alpha, but he was sweet, loving and supportive at the same time. Nikki was a harder character to get to like, but after about the first 20% of the book (which was overly angsty, in my opinion), I began to like her.

Nikki’s story is heartbreaking. I had predicted one part of it correctly, but the rest was a pleasant surprise. This backstory also made Luke into a much more lovable character.

This is the 4th book in a series, and I didn’t read the first three books, but was able to figure out the stories of the folks from the other three (who are all Nikki’s best friends). The epilogue to this book was one of the best I’ve read in a long time. I love a good epilogue.

I would highly recommend this book. You won’t be able to stop thinking about it for a while once you’re done.

Boy, did this series end on a high note for me! I loved how patient Luke was with Nikki's situation, and the lengths he went to in search of answers for her! I also liked seeing more of the Cunningham Security team highlighted in this story! I'm rather surprised by the fact that Nikki never looked for her father, as I felt that it was a little unrealistic, due to innate curiosity. The story was a quick and engaging read!

Now i must admit i didn’t realise this was part of a series before i dived in. However having that said it can be read as a standalone without feeling like your missing anything, but because for me, this book was sooo good i am going to read the rest in the series.

Nikki, oh man my heart broke for this girl, she had so much heartbreak in her life im not suprised she closed herself off from love, that is until Luke. Boy, Luke, hot as hell Luke. Seriously where can i get a Luke? Not only was he hot but the way he dedicated himself to seeing Nikki happy even when she told him she wouldn’t let him in made my heart melt. Im so glad these two got their HEA even if the author does take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride to get you there, and that twist! Never saw that coming.

Overall this book was full of the things i love most in stories of this genre, angst, a little break of heartbreak, a lot of love, friendships that every girl needs and overall a HEA!

I am annoyed. Why I hear you ask

I am annoyed because I didn't read the first 3 Blackwood books 😡 I've missed out on so much. But the good news is that I still got them to look forward too.

Nikki has built walls around her heart now Luke is determined to pull them down.

A great book, I definitely be back for more.

Can someone tell me where I can get a Luke? He was perfect. Even though he knew he wanted Nikki, he didn't have to be overbearing to get her heart. I've read so many books with OTT alphas and I certainly love my fair share of them, but Luke was all alpha without the need to disrespect Nikki's wishes.

And my heart broke for Nikki. I don't want to give it away, but that scene where Luke gives her back something that she'd been missing for a long time...I was a mess.

This series as a whole was filled with so many emotions. Throughout the entire series, I have felt happy, hopeful, sad, scared, worried, dreamy, swoony, fulfilled, and everything else you could imagine.

The epilogue brought it home for me.

I have no doubts this series will be one I reread for years to come.

A perfect end to the series!

I was fortunate to receive an ARC of Everything I Love and thought it was the perfect end to the series.

Nikki’s story broke my heart and Luke was so sweet.  I adored the way Luke gave Nikki the time she needed to work through things in her head.  He knows what he wants, but respects her feelings.  He was the perfect guy!

It was so great to get Nikki’s story, too.  I’ve been wondering about her since the first book in the series.  She’s a fiercely devoted friend who loves hard, even though giving her heart to a man is something she struggles to admit she wants.  I was so happy to see her finally get her HEA.

It was a rollercoaster of emotions, but I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this beautiful story.

And the epilogue!  I don’t even know what to do with myself after reading that.  What a perfect way to wrap up the series!  I’m so sad it’s over.

Great series ending!

The whole Everything series was fantastic. This book was a perfect finisher. I loved Nikki’s story and her ability to see change. Her character was strong and funny. Luke was obviously sexy, but he was also a sweet alpha. I loved how the characters from the other books in this series were still a big part of this story. And that the end as the a cliffhanger. It was a very well written wrap up for everyone. I definitely will read the series again!

4.5* Luke is the kind of man we all dream about. Sexy, confident, patient, knows what he wants and will do what it takes to get it. What he wants is Nikki. He knows there are things she doesn't tell him and she wants only a physical relationship. Since his friends and her friends were couples they were always hanging out together. He was good with that she wanted at first but the more they got to know each other the more he wanted her love.

She's been burned so many times before she doesn't want to take the risk of ever giving her heart away. She doesn't realize he already has it. Luke is so patient with her, gives her what she wants but gives her so much more without her realizing it.

She has so many things to work through and Luke is right there with her every step of the way even when he's training for the biggest event of his life.

Loved this heart warming story.

This was the perfect end to the Everything series. Nikki is slightly battered and damaged from a life full of betrayal from family and boyfriends and refuses to let anyone see her true self, aside from her three best friends from childhood. Luke loves Nikki and knows that he’s the man to help her find her way. Between finding herself and finding her way back to her heart and Luke’s persistence in making sure she sees herself and their relationship clearly, Nikki manages to open her heart to love and be loved.

I won’t spoil the book, but between Luke finding Nikki’s father (with Cruz from Overcome’s Help) and the epilogue to rival all epilogues, I’m so glad I wore waterproof mascara today! This whole series is fantastic, but Luke and Nikki have managed to unseat Monroe and Stone as my favorite Everything couple.

Nikki and Luke were really beautiful together. Nikki is so caring and loving, while Luke is so sweet and understanding. All he wants to do is take care of Nikki and love her and for her to open up to him.
Nikki had a difficult life and very sad. She's trying to deal with what happened even after many years after it happened.
Luke is everything you'd hope him to be. He's strong and sweet but also fierce and very loyal. He is unmoving in his feelings for Nikki. He is always there when she needs him and even when she doesn't know it. He is the epitome of loving and caring. He helps her, loves her and helps put her back together again.
They are each other's rocks. Solid and ground.
Unquestionable tenderness, passion and devotedness.

Excellent while at the same time disappointing

I say that because the book was excellent, the story was great. I have enjoyed this series, some books more than others, obviously.

This one disappointed me because the Author gave the Olympic gold medal to Zane and I felt it should’ve been given to Stone.

Stone had a much sadder childhood, Zane had a good family. Stone was going to retire so that would’ve been his first, last, and only Olympics. I also think it would’ve earned him more respect from Monroe’s family. Especially from her father and her brother Deacon.

The gold medal should have gone to Stone. I’m so disappointed in that for him.

Still, all in all the book was very enjoyable to read.

Quick and dirty this review will be.

Loved Luke, I mean swoon book boyfriend love. He was kind, sweet, knew what he wanted and went for it. He was patient as well. He worked hard to for his goals.

Nikki her past was heartbreaking. And hated to see her push Luke away but it’s understandable. Her and Luke are great together. He treats her so amazingly wonderful you swoon.

The story is sexy at times, intimate and really good. Luke has you swoon from the beginning and has you a mess with what he gives to Nikki that she needed. He is the perfect guy for her. The story sucks you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go.

I liked this last book in the series. I really felt bad for both Luke and Nikki, for different reasons of course. I really felt bad for Nikki and what she went through with her family. Family is supposed to love you unconditionally but she got dealt a crap hand.
I really felt for Luke to because he was very much in love with Nikki and she just couldn’t get herself there. He was a genuinely a good guy and I’m glad her was persistent with her. In the end everything was resolved and I just loved these to together. I really liked the epilogue where we got a little bit from each couple to see what was in their future. All in all this was a good series.

Nikki and Luke, I just can’t say enough good things about this couple. Luke is one of my favorite male characters. This series has kept me entertained for several days, I could just not wait to finish it. Every one of them was as good as the first one or the last one or the one in the middle. If you want a read that will take you through all your emotions this author gives them. I laughed and I cried. I rooted for them the entire book. This is a new author for me but now I will be reading all her books. Can’t go wrong with A.K. Evans

Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of determination, compassion, kindness, getting your power back, and falling in love. I enjoyed Luke and Nikki story. I think the author did a great job putting these characters together. These two characters were very good for each other. I specially think Luke was great for Nikki because he brought her out of her shell because that girl had been through something. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Another amazing read

Oh my ... Luke's heart is the best!
This read was one I took my time it, knowing I wanted to hang onto Luke for a bit. Nikki is so damaged by what happened, and it was wonderful to see her HEA.
I recommend reading this series in order to get the most from this story.
I miss them already! ❤

Nikki and Luke, oh, he was a strong man to give her time to come around. And so glad she did, and she was able to open up to Luke and tell him everything and what he did for her about her dad he's a keeper. And holy cow, I never saw that one. I'm so glad she got to have the best life. And oh, so many babies for everyone!!!!!

Awesome

Everything I Love was different but it was great. Luke was so patient and caring. Love was so obvious in all his action. But she gave it back when she was able too. Love their ending, but I also liked the glance into the future.

Everything I Love

This book had an interesting storyline and a little twist. Even though the writing was still distracting at times like the other books, I thought it was a bit better.

Method: ebook

Rating: 4/5 stars

H rating: 4.5/5 - Luke. LOVED HIM!!

h rating: 4/5 - Nikki. Happily shocked with her in this book

Drama: 4/5

Thoughts: Okay, I got it. Her being cold and closing herself off. Her loss of her dad was a debilating blow to her, that ontop of the evil mom and sisters. I got it. Very happy with this ending to the series. Might consider reading the spinoff.
