Sunny and Aiden REALLY got married! They REALLY had another baby. Those should have been the headlines. Instead, when Ramey alluded to Aiden being the father of her 18-month old son, the headlines changed. Now, instead of enjoying their first year as newlyweds, the couple is facing an insurmountable challenge…Ramey and Aiden’s son, Hendrix. This may be the one storm they can’t make it through.

It's not my quote but I live by it. *rebel*. Music and writing are my everything. Music influences everything that I do and write about. Without books and music, I could not breathe.
The book felt like a filler in a lot of ways. I was really uncomfortable about Aiden and his family’s attitude. To me they were disrespectful. Aiden’s mother was the worst. How dare she say that Sunny is not fulfilling her “wife’s duties”? First of all it’s none of her business and she should butt out of their marriage, secondly I thought that they were really inconsiderate of Sunny’s feelings. Basically they just wanted her to get over the situation and welcome the kid and his mother with open arms? Really? With their history?Nobody would be that cool so quickly. Aiden was being so selfish about the whole situation and worse he thought he was being considerate. Even if he didn’t know about the kid, he still put Sunny in the position of being a stepmother. Not everyone wants to be one. Also they all seem to forget that Sunny just had a baby, major surgery and huge hormonal changes. She hasn’t had the time to grieve her new inability to have children naturally and they want her to be all cool. No one wondered if she had postpartum depression, nor did Aiden suggest something useful like a marriage counselor. No he just threw his toys out of the pram and talked about separating and worse put a ridiculous amount of pressure for a move while himself was out of commission away on tour. Was Sunny behaving rationally? no but for once I thought she was entitled to it and if I was her, my relationship with my in-laws would have changed drastically. They’ve shown their true colors. I’m glad they are not going to live together anymore. To think that Aiden’s mother still liked Ramey and had contacts with her after she abandoned him in a hospital and then dragged him through the mud in the tabloids. Crazy. I definitely would not have them so much in my business anymore. Call me paranoid but Dina wouldn’t be looking after my children for any length of time while i am away. God knows what off color remarks she might make. As an aside, I personally think that Aiden should have had a lawyer put in place a fixed co parenting schedule. A lot cleaner rather than this at will nonsense with a credit card. How invasive and again lacking in boundaries of him to think it’s ok to just pop up at Ramey’s house. Also whether he likes it or not, he should spend time with his son away from his home, 1/ so he could know him and 2/ because although the child is innocent, having him in Sunny’s face is inconsiderate and too soon. As an aside, it’s ridiculous to me that Sunny and Erica would still be friends. Whether Aiden understand it or not, her sleeping and almost marrying the love of her “best friend” life is an unforgivable betrayal. They can be cordial but that’s it. I hope the final installment will be soon and both of them would have matured.
So, here’s my take on Aiden. He has not changed one bit. His mind is still muddled in feelings for all the sex partners in his manwhorish live. One time they are good, the next they are not. Oh, he loved his ex wife, scrap that he still loves her. All the Erica’s and Shays he’s had affairs with, still have a place in his heart. His son from the ex? Well, Sunny should take it or or not. If she wants to stay his wife she better! What utter crassness!! Never mind Sunny just have a difficult child birth two months prior.
You know who carries this book? Sunny... Strong, confident, put together heroine from the first book. Our Miss Summer is also the best of her. These two are the cake. The rest and Aiden’s mom? *shaking my head*. It’s good to read what’s happening to this couple though. Aiden? Not so much..
I can not begin to say how much I've enjoyed this story or how wonderful this series actually is. We get to visit old friends and get a peak at the lives and the decisions they are making. We the ladies get together it's always a pleasure when you sista's can get together and dish and no one comes away with hurt feelings. I chemistry between Sunny and Aiden is still magical. This was a stellar addition to a really really good series. Now ding is that there were a few.typos and the next time we revisit we will not have this problem.
Sunny and Aiden are so toxic. They spent the whole book in self inflicted drama. For two people who claim to love each other so much, they definitely didn’t act like. Aiden is too wishy washy, I never believed that he had all this love for Ramey. Like I said in my last review, he definitely entertains his exes way too much. Im glad they got it together in the end.
I definitely enjoyed this book and the storyline was absolutely fantastic and I have been waiting for this book for a long time. Sunny and Aiden is so beautiful I loved them.. I loved that I got a glimpse of Savannah!! I want more of her and Cash please
