It's amazing how expressive Mittens is in the illustrations, esp when she realizes she's lost. That one page wins the whole book for me. It a nice easy read that the 6 year old can read on her own.

Great beginner reader for kids. Follow me, Mittens is comprehensive and does a good job of repetition for beginners.

Mittens looks like my Giorgio, so I love him, but the story itself, which I was hoping to use for a story time at the library, was underwhelming.

In this story a little boy's pet kitten, Mittens, is following him, but gets distracted and lost. Happy ending, sweet story and illustrations.
I used this book for the summer part of the 52BookClub 2023 reading challenge, prompt "Pick Your Road Trip Buddies: a pet."

What could be cuter than a boy and his cat? Very little, as it turns out. This book has some very cute illustrations in a very classic style, and the sentences are easy for a small child to read as they begin to learn the skill. It's very short and boring when read out loud to a child, which is a bit of a drawback. But all in all it's a decent book for small children.

Mittens is a curious little kitten, who follows a yellow butterfly as the butterfly flitters and flutters away from Mitten's kid. cute little kitten, great illustrations. It would make a good companion to the little puppy Biscuit.

I really like this series because I like cats and kittens.

My favorite part was when Mittens got caught up with a butterfly and couldn't find his way back.

This book is a very cute story about a kitten who gets a little distracted and ends up getting lost! I thought it was a nice story, and very simple for young children to understand.

This is part of the collection of book in my first grade class.
Students enjoy books they can relate to, and what young child
doesn't want a cat or a dog?

Should have read this one earlier; it gives directions so would be a good book to read to a young toddler learning words/what up, down, around and over are.
