Read Tanner, prequel to the runaway best-selling ALPHAS series by Pandora Snow.
DNF sorry, got to 27% and was bored with writing style. Just not my cup of tea. Tanner was coming across as a total wanker. I get that being in the armed forces would make you a control freak, but geez man loosen up.
There's a good story idea here, but the delivery didn't quite stack up. I never felt any real emotion or passion flowing from the characters. Also, I had a problem with the nurse giving access to a patient's medical file to the police without even asking for a warrant. Plus she shared that confidential information with someone that definitely had no rights to knowing it. Everyone knows that isn't normal practice. And I really don't like the control freak 'hero' of the story and his leanings toward obsessive mentality. Overall, I felt there was potential here, but it never materialized for me.
I really enjoyed Tanner by Pandora Snow. It was well written and the perfect afternoon escape. Tanner is home from the Navy to spend time with his father and younger sister. He believes his sister needs a stricter routine and more structure. Savannah is their new neighbor and Tanner is immediately attracted to the beautiful nurse. But she has an ex that will let her go. Will Tanner be able to convince her he is the man for her? Definitely recommend.
Liked this military man falls for the girl nextdoor romance. Tanner comes home after 2 yrs at sea with the navy. He falls for his neighbor, Savannah who is a nurse finishing up her training and degree. Her ex, Logan shows up trying to force his way back into her life. Tanner has a 14 yr old sister to try and help raise. Can their new romance survive? Liked the end, but wish it had an epilogue showing them settled and happy in their own home with maybe a pregnancy announcement.
Savannah is almost too sweet and emotional. Tanner comes across as a controlling jerk, but by the end.... desperate. In one week these two meet, end up in bed and then engaged. Totally unbelievable. The storyline has potential if Ms. Snow wants to revamp it. Hats off to the navy vets mentioned in the story. To all who serve, thank you for your service. No cheating or cliffhanger and the story ends on a happy note. 🧐
This was not my cup of tea, Tanner annoyed me to no end, how manly he thought himself, and handsome and amazing physique and so forth and so forth, and then his "love" for Savannah with no more then 20 words spoken to each other they loved each other and were forever and after a week they wanted to share their live together.
I'm all for instalove but is has to have more body than this.
It's a fun short read if you want to have something in between reads. And kudos for writing it.
I absolutely loved this story.Tanner was a real protective alpha. I loved reading his point of view and the fact that it was written in the first person is only another plus. I read this short story in one sitting.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A fun and entertaining read. The story will hold your attention, the characters are fun and fit well together. A great read to get away for a bit. Their journey to their happily ever after was great to read.
Very cute story. It has plenty of romance and lots of steam. I really enjoyed it. I did feel a few spots were rushed, but overall it was a good read. Especially for those looking for something to read when they don't have a lot of time.
A nice sweet insta love story about Tanner a by the rules just got off the ship guy who falls for his neighbour Savannah an ER Nurse. Tanner cannot believe his eyes when his sister introduces him to the goddess next door! Savannah cannot take her eyes off of the sexy man that enfolds out of her neigbours car! The chemistry is off the charts between them and a bond starts to forms but is quickly interrupted by her ex. Does Savannah still have feelings for her domineering ex or will she give strictly by the rules Tanner a chance to show her he can compromise when it comes to rules and regulations? I received an ARC for an honest review.
