I grew up thinking that it was "easier" to be friends with the boys, but I always wanted to fit in with the girls, and I was sure I couldn't be the only one! This book highlights the importance of female relationships and the purposes behind different relationships, helping with strategies to build and repair relationships, as well as how to let go when it's time. I could definitely see this book printed as a workbook, or marketed as part of a book club with a journal aspect

I love the way this book is formatted with a great mix of action items, research studies and personal stories. It really appeals to my logical Virgo brain. In all honesty, I only read this book because it was written by a fellow Bermudian woman and I believe we are a sort of tribe of our own and we have to support each other. However, I'm so glad I read it and will carry the lessons in this book with me as tools for building and strengthening my relationships.
