Isabel, with brothers and best friends Mark, Oliver and Byron, grew up close and deeply caring. Their parents threw a wrench in it when they there was an affair of their dad and her mom. They missed each other but Isabel is back in town and they are all lawyers now, against each other in court. Still feeling the pull, they get together and sparks fly. Emotions are intense as they discuss their past. Romance skyrockets from the time of their reunion and a calm falls upon them like this is perfection.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book written by Adele that I have read. I enjoyed the characters, wish it was longer. It is a short steamy story about a woman who knows her heart is still theirs. When her heart and body overrule her mind, the heat rises fast.

I really enjoyed this novella. I generally like longer books so you understand the characters motivations. This book was able to get to the same point much quicker. I really enjoy the Australian authors in this genre. They are exceptional at building the right combinations to make it work so well.

This is a great quick read about Isabel reconnecting with three childhood best friends. They have always loved her but will the past be too much to overcome to be together? This book is super steamy. The plot is interesting and enjoyable.
