Crescent Cove #10

Wrong Bed Baby

Rate this book
My new neighbor is sinfully delicious. He’s also an elementary school teacher who flirts with absolutely everyone.

I flirt back—all very casually—until the night he accidentally ends up in my bed. And since I’m very in tune with the universe, I can’t look a gift di...ah, horse in the mouth, right?

Caleb’s hot as heck, and he’s not all talk when it comes to his seductive charm. Let’s just say rulers have nothing on him.

Cough, cough, wink.

Then I start wanting pickle-flavored ice cream. With peanut butter sauce and a cherry on top.

Only problem is Caleb isn’t looking for a family or forever. Or so he thought...

Author’s note: This daddy-to-be is about to learn a few things from the one woman who will give back everything he dishes out times three. Wrong Bed Baby is a standalone accidental pregnancy romantic comedy with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

How is that every trip back to Crescent Cove is better than the last??? I always go in thinking that this one won't be as good as the last, it can't possibly be. Surprise, surprise......it always is! The writing duo of Taryn Quinn is just that good!

Wrong Bed Baby is Luna and Caleb’s story. At first glance they don't quite seem to fit. Sure Caleb is definitely attracted to her but he isn't bringing his A game and Luna just seems to tolerate him. But there is magic at work. Luna has a hard time letting people in but once she let's Caleb in, all bets are off and oh goddess is their chemistry off the charts!!!

I can't say enough how much I loved watching their story play out, feeling all the feels and their HEA? Yea, it's perfect!!

*Highlight.....seeing some of my favorite Crescent Cove characters and getting a glimpse at who's story may be next.

I absolutely loved Luna and Caleb. They have such different personalities, backgrounds and to a certain extent different outlooks on life that they really shouldn’t be a match but somehow they just gel together. Maybe it’s due to their insane chemistry or maybe it’s some magic at work but either way, they can’t get enough of each other.

It’s hinted that Caleb was a bit of a playboy in the past, although we don’t get to see that side of him here. He’s a gorgeous man, open in heart and mind and enjoying life. Despite not wanting anything permanent, relationship wise, there’s something about Luna that he finds irresistible, a connection which draws him to her. Of course living across the landing from her helps in that respect but it’s like she has an invisible thread attached to her, pulling him in at every opportunity. Luna is, quite frankly, magnificent. I have a big crush on her. She’s such an interesting character, strong with a vulnerable side, fun yet down to earth, quite literally. She grounds herself with the trees and the earth and believes in giving back to the universe and I wish she was real so I could make her my friend.

I loved everything about this book, my favorite now in the Crescent Cove series. As with the previous books, friendships play a hugely important role in this story and I love the camaraderie and banter between all the characters. Wrong Bed Baby is a gorgeous story, witty and sensual, fun and light hearted, with just the right amount of angst. It gets five big stars from me.

When a confirmed bachelor loses his game around a woman in Crescent Cove, you know things are about to get interesting. Opposites attract in this funny and sweet, yet oh so sexy romance between a Catholic school 2nd grade teacher and a Tarot reading, crystal loving professed witch.

Caleb has watched his younger sister and older brother and several friends fall to the Crescent Cove baby curse and it’s not that he’s opposed to babies, he loves kids or he wouldn’t be a teacher, but he enjoys his single life. He just hasn’t been intimate with anyone in the Cove for a long time because no since chancing it. Moving in to his new apartment he is drawn to Luna, his neighbor, in ways he can’t even describe and suddenly he’s tongue tied and bumbling and wonders what the hell happened to him.

I loved the contrast between these characters but also that neither one expected the other to change. Luna loved Caleb’s teacher side and Caleb supported everything that made Luna the person she was. That’s not to say their relationship didn’t raise a few eyebrows at St Agnes Catholic School, but Caleb was adamant that he didn’t care what other people thought.

We get a good dose of other Crescent Cove residents especially those related to Caleb and Luna’s best friend Ryan and her guy Preston (His Temporary Assistant) are around for advice and comfort as well.

Fun and entertaining with loads of emotion, love, and passion; Wrong Bed Baby was a wonderful addition to the Crescent Cove series.

Hot for the Teacher!!

We have another trip back to Crescent Cove where babies abound. We’ve met tarot card reader Luna before and now we get her story from this famous town. Caleb is a neighbor and second grade teacher who has fun and is not really looking for anything long term at this point.

Can we say “chemistry” people!! These two have it and then some. This was also a great look back at some of the other people who we’ve read about before and had fallen under the spell of Crescent Cove. As with the other books in this series they are fun to read and always leave me with a smile on my face.

A Cosmic Pair!

This was such a sweet story. A straight-laced albeit playboy of a school teacher with a Free-spirited “gifted” gal makes for a really good and honeyed interaction. Super fun seeing the tale play out.

WRONG BED BABY is the tenth instalment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVE erotic, romance series focusing on the small town of Crescent Cove, and the ongoing baby boom that shows no signs of stopping. This is elementary school teacher Caleb Beck , and twenty-seven year old, tarot reader/podcaster / self proclaimed witch Luna Hastings’ story line. WRONG BED BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Some of the event of WRONG BED BABY wrong parallel to, and cross over with the events of HIS TEMPORARY ASSISTANT, the first instalment in the author’s spin off series Kensington Square.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Caleb and Luna)WRONG BED BABY follows the building romance and relationship between elementary school teacher Caleb Beck , and twenty-seven year old, tarot reader/podcaster / self proclaimed witch Luna Hastings. Caleb Beck just moved in across the hall from out story line heroine but after a night or two of drinking found himself not once, but twice in Luna’s apartment, including a night spent in her bed, and a morning spent in our heroine’s arms. As their relationship continues to build throughout the months of summer vacation, Caleb has to defend his relationship upon his return to school, a relationship that is about to become more permanent with the unexpected announcement of Luna’s pregnancy. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Caleb and Luna, and the potential fall-out as Luna struggles with the reality of her pregnancy, leaving a heart broken Caleb when she decides to run.

Luna Hastings considers herself a witch. She is able to ‘see’ people’s auras in color, and in this her relationship with her parents is strained and virtually non-existent except for the occasional contact with her brother Xavier. Friends with a number of women in Crescent Cove, Luna ‘reads’ the tarot, and their colors, to get a feel for their emotions and well being. Caleb Beck teaches at the local Catholic elementary school, and in this, his relationship with Luna is often at odds with the ‘sister’ in charge. Never expecting to settle down, having watched all of the men succumb to the ‘baby phenomenon’ in Crescent Cove, Caleb and his best friend Lucky are the two remaining bachelors until falling in love with our story line heroine.

The relationship between Caleb and Luna is one of immediate attraction. Luna likes to pole dance for exercise, and Caleb and his best friend Lucky discover our heroine of the day Caleb moved in. Vying equally for Luna’s attention, Lucky is the loser as Luna’s attraction and interest settles on our story line hero. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and seductive without the use of over the stop, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and lively, secondary and supporting characters, many of whom we have met in previous storylines. We are reintroduced to Luna’s best friend Ryan (His Temporary Assistant), and Caleb’s brother August (My Ex’s Baby). Lucky’s story line is next in Lucky Baby.

WRONG BED BABY is a story of family and friendships, relationships and love. There is a very slight paranormal feel to the story line premise with the inclusion of Luna’s claim to be a witch, and her ability to ‘see’ people’s auras in color. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance steamy and consuming; the characters are energetic and fascinating.

Sadly, DNF. The MFC’s obsession with tarot cards and gems was overwhelming. I couldn’t get into the story.

Yay! Another visit to Crescent Cove. I loved how meta this book was - that the leads acknowledged how the town was a baby magnet and how weird it was. I still think the CDC needs to check things out to see what's going on there.

After Ryan's book (His Temporary Assistant) I was eager to hear the stories about the characters introduced there. This time it was Ryan's podcast co-host, Luna. I have to admit that I didn't fully connect with her, but she's endearing enough to overcome that.

“You meet this beautiful, smart, funny as hell woman one day, and then the next thing you know, she goes and changes your whole world. Makes you see things you never could’ve imagined. Or could ever think might be yours.” I tried to swallow despite the fist around my throat. “First, I fell in love with you. And that wasn’t enough. Now you’re saying…” I took a breath. “Now you’re saying you’re giving me—us—someone else to love too.”

Caleb was more relatable for some reason, and I felt like he grounded this book. His evolution was gradual and loving, even if he had the weirdest bestie ever. I adored how he let himself fall in love and was unashamed of it.

It was also cool that there wasn't a big fuss around the why of the pregnancy. No big convoluted plot point. And the angst was easy to understand, even if Luna acted a bit weird about it. I think her inner conflicts were what made me shake my head a little.

No worries though, Taryn and Cari never disappoint. I can depend on them to entertain and delight even if there are nits I can pick.

I give Wrong Bed Baby four and a half stripper pole stars.

SEXY, SWOONY, & SO DARN CUTE!!!
Title: Wrong Bed Baby
Series: Crescent Cove
Author: Taryn Quinn
Designation: Book 10 of Series, Contemporary Romantic Comedy, Stand-alone, NO Cliffhanger #smalltownromance #oopsiebaby #oppositesattract
My Rating: Five Swoony Stars*****

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! And yes, it’s all caps because I’m screaming it from the rooftops! This dynamic writing duo never fail to surprise and impress me, and this release is no exception! Wrong Bed Baby vibrates with happy feels, positive energy, sweet romance, and undeniable sexual chemistry. Luna Hastings, the heroine in this latest Crescent Cove installment of baby mania, was a breath of fresh air. Her love of tarot, empathic energy, and healing nature grabbed my attention right out of the gate. And the hero, handsome second grade teacher and self-professed eternal playboy Caleb Beck, was beyond irresistible. From their hilarious meet-cute, I could actually feel the sparks flying between this unlikely couple. (Loud music and a stripper pole may have been involved and no, it was not in a strip joint so get your mind out of the gutter.😂) And what started as a heavy shower of fiery sparks built to a raging inferno as the story progressed, one that neither Caleb nor Luna could deny. There are an abundance of very talented writers, but it’s rare to find one who can actually transport you into their fictional world and completely immerse you into the lives of its inhabitants, which brings me to one of my favorite elements of every Taryn Quinn story - the characters, and not just the protagonists. Each book is filled to the brim with a menagerie of intriguing, endearing, and relatable secondary characters, many of whom appear in Quinn’s other books. But never fear - each book can be read as a complete standalone with no cliffhanger and always a satisfying happy ending. I snickered, snorted, sighed, sniffled, fumed, raged, giggled, and outright belly-laughed thru the entire book. It was fabulous! Did I like this book? I think I’ve already answered this but just in case, I loved it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am! But only for adult readers since it contains explicit sex scenes, which were sweet, erotic, and beautifully written. Not too much, not too little, but just right, at least for me. Oh, and there were a few words of profanity but very few. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! Just as soon as they release their next book. I can hardly wait to see which bachelor and bachelorette will become the next victim (or lucky recipient, depending on the way you look at it) of the Crescent Cove oopsie baby curse. And FYI, apparently someone has put something in the water at Crescent Cove causing an outbreak of unplanned and very unexpected pregnancies among the unsuspecting single residents. So if you visit, DON’T drink the water. Maybe it would be safer to just read about it. lol...

Any visit to Crescent Cove is a good visit, because the lovelies that write as Taryn Quinn have created such a great place. Sure, it's Baby Central, but that's one of the things that makes it so inviting, even for those stalwart folks that vow to be extra, extra careful. People like Luna Hastings, resident witchy woman and reader of auras dark and light, and like Caleb Beck, second-grade teacher at the local Catholic school and man about town, so to speak. But, then, well, drinks are had, lines are crossed, and oops, they did it again...

I admit that I wanted to dope slap Caleb upon first meeting, but he, like the other good men of the town, grew on me so very quickly, and he redeemed himself post haste. Poor dude did not stand a chance when faced with the reality of Luna. Luckily for him, Caleb knows a great thing when he's in the middle of it, and joined the ranks of resident good guys.

In another life, I would love to be Luna. She's smart, self-sufficient, and doing the life thing her own witchy way. She knows what she wants...mostly. And, save for an understandable meltdown at the realization of the curveball that Life and the Goddess are pitching her way, she's the kind of person that I would so want to hang out with if, you know, I can't be her.

These two are great together, and a welcome addition to the good citizens of the Cove. WRONG BED BABY is a feel-good read in all the best ways, and I enjoyed every single minute of it, helped in no small part by the presence of a great cast of characters, especially Lucky. I keep saying it, and it remains true, the ladies have created a very special place, and, if I can't actually live in Crescent Cove, then I'm happy to visit every chance I get. Luckily for me, there's more coming, but, in the meantime, romance lovers looking for a book that will leave them smiling, I couldn't recommend this book more. Do yourself a favor and visit this little town in New York. Enjoyment guaranteed. ❤️

Universal

Caleb is thrown completely off his game the moment he spies his gorgeous neighbor on a pole in her apartment. Though his friend Lucky may seem to have no problems hitting on her, she's making him practically speechless. How will he ever get this gorgeous woman into his life if he can't even speak properly around her?!

Even though Luna seems like she barely tolerates him, she's secretly attracted to the gorgeous teacher, especially when she realizes he's a sweetheart. Then they can't help but give into their sizzling chemistry. But if he's not looking for a commitment, what will he say when something happens that could tie them together forever? Will he run? Or will it be Luna who leaves when things get serious?

Though these two could not be more opposite, they fit together so well. Their natural attraction and that rare thing we all look for in a mate, yeah it's there in spades for Caleb and Luna. I love how she doesn't take any bs, and throws Caleb off kilter so hard. But both are such lovely characters that I was rooting for them to the last page. This Crescent Cove place is certainly magical - I can't wait for more of this kooky, baby happy series.

Luna Hastings can see the auras around people. She does Tarot readings and believes in the effects of certain crystals. She admits she's a witch, not the magic wand kind, the kind who is Wiccan. In addition to doing readings she also works at Kinleigh and August's Attic. She enjoys the eclectic nature of the shop. When a new neighbor moves in across the hall from her apartment she more than takes notice. She finds herself attracted to the guy. He's attracted to her too. Okay. Nothing wrong with a little fling. Then the fertility winds, water or whatever in Crescent Cove, basically Baby Central, strikes. Where do we go from here?

Caleb Beck is a footloose and fancy-free second grade teacher at the local Catholic elementary school. He and his BFF Lucky are enjoying their bachelorhood and have no plans to change that status any time soon. When Lucky agreed to help Caleb move into his new apartment Caleb was shocked when Lucky nudged open, just a little bit, the door to the apartment across the hall to watch the sexiest woman ever doing a routine on a dance pole. Caleb's hot, new neighbor, Luna Hastings, caught them watching and gave them heck. Caleb knew Lucky thought he should get first dibs at dating Luna since he saw her first but Caleb wasn't going to back off. She's his sexy new neighbor and he intends to get to know her better. Much better!

Wrong Bed Baby is the tenth book in Taryn Quinn's Crescent Cove series. I really like Luna and Caleb. They are really great together. It's always an interesting read when the main characters think they will just have a little fling and move on from there. Reading about how they fall in love is fascinating. In this case one would probably never match up an elementary school teacher with such a free-spirited partner but it really works well here. As much as I liked Luna and Caleb I really enjoyed Caleb's BFF Lucky. He is so much fun. I can't wait to read his story.

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

4⭐|3🌶|3🥵

Caleb and his best friend Lucky are "that last men standing" or "Crescent Cove's original bachelors" which they call each other. I'm still not sure, why the people in Crescent Cove use protection at all... Everyone knows now that the water is destroying every contraceptive 🙈 One reason why Caleb stopped his playboy behavior. He doesn't want a relationship and he doesn't want a baby. Luna doesn't want anything of this either. But they want a little fun with each other, so they "accidentally" turn into friends with benefits 😎
Does it work? I don't think it's so huge of a spoiler when I say NO. I mean, the tropes and the series itself say everything 🤣

Luna is something special. She is a witch. She is a healer. She is a tarot card reader. She is generally VERY VERY spiritual. She has all the crystals and essential oils. She does ointments and stuff with it. She prays to several goddesses of the Nordic mythologies. She wears clothes like a hippy...
As I said, she is very special. But she is a wonderful and heartwarming person. She loves her friends. Especially her best friend Rayen (who btw has her own book in a spin-off series "His Temporary Assistant").
She also is very insecure because of her past.

This book is so full of laughter. All the things happening at Caleb's school 🙈 You have to know he works at a catholic school, so a girl like Luna isn't something the nuns, especially the principal Sister Tobias, are happy with...
Oh, and Luna does a very interesting sport 😎 And she does it on Caleb's moving day in her building. And nothing less than Lucky is helping him. So, when they both saw her doing it... Yeah 🤣
And there is the party on the rooftop.

Next in line is now Lucky. I'm excited to read his story. He is so 🤔 problematic... He still is a playboy and he is flirting with everything that wears a skirt... 🙈

The couple: Caleb and Luna

Romance trope: neighbors
Series: Crescent Cove
Length: 302 pages

Plot: Caleb is moving into a new apartment, and it just so happens that his neighbor is the incredibly hot (and limber!) Luna. But he can't figure out why she won't give him he time of day. It's never happened to him before, but with a little alcohol, he might just make the case for wanting her enough to cross a few awkward boundaries.

Commentary: Luna was...something. New age-ish, believing that she saw auras and could read people, using tarot cards and generally playing foil to Caleb's education-based schoolteacher. He definitely took it all in stride and didn't make fun of her or laugh or grimace about it at all. I'm not a believer in that sort of thing. I mean, I certainly believe that people have instincts, but I don't believe that people are psychic or can "read auras," and tarot cards are, to my mind, entertainment rather than life advice. So I spent a lot of time giving Luna some side-eye. She can believe whatever she wants - I just wasn't buying it.
Although, my goodness, her mom was the worst, and her brother almost was (and I guess was at the time she left). I'm glad she has a new found family that loves and supports her.

Previous book in the series: Daddy Undercover
Next book in the series: Lucky Baby

Man do I love Taryn Quinn's Crescent Cove books! Every single one of them has been so much fun to read and each one brings a new adventure featuring an addictive, engaging couple. Wrong Bed Baby focuses on Caleb and Luna, two complete opposites who fit together perfectly. He's an elementary teacher at a Catholic school and she is a tarot reader/witch who is into mysticism and spells. They have a fun meet-cute and their journey takes off from there.

I loved Caleb's laid-back, fun vibe. He loves to have a good time and is a big goofball who doesn't take life too seriously. He's fun, a loyal friend, a great brother and well-liked by all. Luna is sort of an outcast who marches to the beat of her own drum. She's fun, eccentric and also a very loyal friend. Together, their chemistry was off the hook. Quinn wrote them a super sexy story that I absolutely adored! Caleb and Luna are so much fun together! I loved how Quinn emphasized their friendships throughout the story because that's a huge part of their lives and who they are. These two have to face the Crescent Cove baby curse which is something neither initially want. But these two work through their difficulties and come out on the other side stronger than ever.

Wrong Bed Baby is the 10th book in the Crescent Cove series but it reads as a complete standalone. You can jump in here or start at the beginning which, let's be honest is my recommendation because this entire series is the best! If you do read this one first, just know there will be spoilers for other couples in the series as well as in Quinn's other new Kensington Square series. Whatever you do, make sure you read this story because it's fabulous! 5 stars

Really enjoyed this steamy romance. Pleased I read it soon after reading His Temporary Assistant (also by Taryn Quinn) because it was fun to experience joint events and phone calls from Luna’s viewpoint.

In their acknowledgments the Authors expressed concern about their inexperience regarding Tarot, however as a Teacher of Tarot and other spiritual and healing modalities, I think they did an excellent job addressing tarot readings, the ethics of doing readings and energy healings, boundaries, and the challenges of being energy sensitive. I thought their descriptions of enhanced energy exchange during intimacy for spiritual people was very good as well.

I was a bit concerned regarding boundaries at the start of the story with Caleb’s immature bumbling Frat Boy behaviour, but once they got together and he was more confident, their relationship was lovely and his devotion by the end of the book was wonderful. I really enjoyed that Luna was grounded and self-aware and empowered for most of the book, except for the usual big misunderstanding/ temporary break-up near the end.

It all ends wonderfully and I am sooo looking forward to the next book that combines Kensington Square with Crescent Cove as Caleb’s pal Lucky and prickly Tish from the garage pair up. The story also had some wonderful walk-ons from familiar and loved characters from Crescent Cove.

This is book 10 in the Crescent Cove series. And in this one we get Luna and Caleb's story! Caleb is an elementary school teacher who likes to flirt and has no desire to be in a relationship. He and his best friend enjoy their player status and make no bones about it. But when he see's his neighbor doing a routine on a stripper pole, all that may change. Luna is eclectic. She considers herself a witch and doesn't hide anything to do with it, nor does she change who she is for anyone. She does her podcast, her taro readings, and she spends time with her friends. And when she finds herself attracted to her new neighbor, she figures a quick fling is in the cards. What she didn't plan on was the baby that comes with it. Now they both have to figure out if they can be something more or if all they were to each other was a fling.

I really liked this one! I couldn't wait for Luna's story, and I still really love her character. Her and Caleb are complete opposites but honestly, they just seem to fit together. The chemistry between them is completely off the charts, which I always expect when it comes to these author's! But beyond that, they just clicked and I loved that. As usual, I enjoyed the side characters just as much as the main ones. Which is what really makes this series, in my opinion. I can't wait for the next one in the series now!

Kaboom! Another amazing read from the Dynamic Duo, Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot!!!! This book had me interested from the start and then got very attached to the characters and their stories.
Caleb is a second grade teacher in a Catholic school and today he is moving into his new apartment with the help of his friend Lucky. Loud music distracts them from across the hall and nosy Lucky just had to take a peak. Jaws drop as they come across one of Caleb's new neighbors. A VERY smoking hot blond goddess swinging around a stripper pole! After getting off on the wrong foot Caleb tries to apologize for his friend's rudeness as he had to get to know this woman. He has been in a dry spell for months as he is afraid to get involved with any woman in Crescent Cove, cause that means babies!
Luna is a tarot card reader who also works at her friend's shop in town. She has been able to see people's aura's since she was young and can see their true colors. Her new neighbor has been ruthless trying to ask her out or even just to come over for lunch to cook for her. She really has no desire to have a relationship with anyone, till Goldilocks ends up sleeping in her bed!
Luna and Caleb have such a connection and HOT sexy times but keep it casual. Till the dreaded water of Crescent Cove kicks in again and all bets are off as they realize this is not something casual after all. GREAT READ!!!!

The Wrong Bed Baby is about Catholic school 2nd-grade schoolteacher Caleb and tarot reading Luna. Their first encounter involved a pole dance, not at a strip club, it's in Luna’s apartment for a workout only. Doors accidentally opened and shut, expired coconut rum mixed with strong antibiotics for a hurt foot that happened when moving into Luna’s apartment building all lead to a drunk Caleb unable to find his keys to his apartment but ends up in Luna’s empty bed in the apartment across from his, hmmm sleeping/passed out. This is a story that takes place in the town that “the damn town bird might well have been a stork,” since a baby explosion in Crescent Cove has never slowed down. Single men even buy bottled water due to rumors of the town’s drinking water-producing babies. Two singles who planned to stay single discover friendship and lots of heat under the sheets that just might produce a baby even with a rain jacket for protection, just maybe not for all sexy times. Taryn Quinn’s books are always a one-click buy since none should be missed. Her stories belong in a constellation all to themselves as being UNSURPASSED books in a small-town setting, hot, hot rock stars, and sexy standalones.

Caleb Beck is a sexy drink of water, a Teacher that makes the girls giggle. Caleb is about to have his universe turned upside down, only one person can put it to rights. I just enjoyed Caleb so much, he’s fun and witty and sexy as all get out!

Luna Hastings is a surprise and a delight. Luna believes in the power of the moon can fix anything, but can it fix her heart? I found myself loving every moment with Luna, she is the best bish.

From the beginning I could feel the electrical charge between Caleb and Luna, with that being said I can admit there are a few surprises along the way in Wrong Bed Baby. I enjoyed the wittiness between them, Caleb is a sexy flirt which had me smiling a few times. Can these two over come their misgivings to find their HEA?

Oh Lord I don’t think I could love Lucky anymore than I already do. It’s going to take a certain woman to tame that man. LOL! I enjoyed catching up with everyone, and being introduced too Xavier. Ladies please more on Luna’s brother. The tag team of Taryn Quinn has done it again, I swear I crave every installment from this sexy, sweet series.

Thoroughly enjoyed Caleb and Luna's story! Wrong Bed Baby by Taryn Quinn had me giggling as two lovely individuals navigated off the charts chemistry and feelings they weren't exactly prepared for as other twists and turns and obstacles flew into their path.

Luna is in tune with herself, knows what she deserves, and has some baggage that she deals with, but that sometimes holds her back.

Caleb is awestruck from the very first encounter with Luna, and is a genuinely good guy, and I adore their connection and what they both bring to the table and how they complement one another beautifully.

Loved getting to see a bit more of Ryan and Preston!

Also, shout out to Lucky, just because he deserves one!

This story had me smiling, had me whooping for joy, had me occasionally wanting to reach into the story to lightly smack some people upside the head, you know a little love tap to get their attention and the story back on track.

Also, definitely curious about Xavier!

All in all, once again a wonderful trip to Crescent Cove that I thoroughly enjoyed! So, what are you waiting for? It'll meet and exceed all your expectations!

I love this series and this latest release!

Everyone knows that Crescent Cove is the place to go if you want to have a baby. It's not the best place to be if you're single and not ready to settle down. But sometimes the planets have other ideas for you.

Caleb is moving in to a new complex when his best friend, Lucky spies the neighbor across the hall working out on a stripper pole. While Caleb is trying to be a nice guy and close the door, he gets caught be the gorgeous temptress named Luna. Caleb becomes tongue tied and seems more like a horny teenage boy then the grow adult teacher that he is.

Luna is a witch and does many things for a living including tarot reading. She's a free spirit and is not looking to get tied down but she's definitely open to having fun. Lots of fun!

I* don't know how to explain it but Luna and Caleb are just crazy good together. Maybe it's that their opposites, but they just fit each other. This is one ride in Crescent Cove that you won't want to miss!

I love this series... But...

It was really hard to get through this book. I'm hoping she hasn't run out of juice for this series because this was not her best work. The characters were hard to like, the story line was a tad boring, and the big finish was a big let down. I skimmed through most of this book just to get to the end.
Caleb is a second grade teacher in a catholic school and in his thirties, yet the first couple times he meets Luna, he's falling down drunk. That's not attractive. Luna is a self proclaimed witch who's all into crystals and potions.
After a couple months, using both birth control and condoms, find themselves expecting a baby. Caleb is excited and proclaims his love, but Luna needs to run and hide for a couple of weeks because he "might change his mind" and she'd wind up alone. She finally realized she loves him too and to win him back she comes up with a "Pretty Woman" scenario that just falls flat.
There's more coming in the series, and I'm just hoping they get a little more creative than this one.

This ain't it

I should like this book. She's a witch for goodness sakes but, no. I hated this book. The plot is one night stand turns into more. It boils down to two flakes having a fling that ends up with a pregnancy. He's a dude bro who is a teacher at a Catholic school. Seriously, he got drunk twice before chapter ten. She is an unambitious hippy chick who claims to be a witch but, it's white washed suburban style rather than anything that has substance. She's all about peace and love, but not a goody-goody she pole dances. She doesn't even aspire to Nicole Kidman Practical Magic cool.
I can list, exhaustively, all the things that needed to be researched rather than googled. But I'm going to say as a Wiccan for twenty plus years I wasn't amused.
The pacing was decent.
The writing was horrible with repetition and general lack of vocabulary. And Bish, stop trying to make Fetch happen.
The world building should already be there at book ten. And it is.
Overall, the book is just lazy.
