I'm new to this keto thing, I've been trying to find information on what'd allowed and not allowed. Portion sizes etc. I thought this book would be my "saving grace". However it's mainly recipes. Great and delis ions recipes but not what I was looking for. I could and have gotten the recipes from instagram and pinterest. So I'm a little mad that I spent $10 on stuff I already have.
I really like this cookbook. Especially the scan codes. Makes track my carbs so easy. I use this cookbook weekly as I plan out my meal plans for the week. Recipes are easy to follow and taste delicious. I figure if I’m going to stay on a diet (and I have to because I have diabetes) the food has to taste good.
I found this book informative and rewarding. Provides variety of recipes to compliment my meal planning. Worth the price and the additional support to my healthy living.
I received this book free when I downloaded the app. It's okay. Mostly recipes. The book lists carrots as no no's in Keto but have them in their recipes so a bit contradictory. Just glad I didn't have to purchase the book.
