Stranded with the best Christmas present ever
Stranded is the story of Bethany and Logan and what a wonderful Christmas themed romance it is. It starts with a gut punch of betrayal to Bethany but she ends up exactly where she should have been all along....in a Utah cabin in the woods with the handsome stud-muffin Logan snowed in on Christmas. Let's just say that they give each other presents that will make the angel on top of the tree blush and cover her eyes. But not all is quiet on this mountain as danger finds Logan which puts Bethany in the firing line also. Logan will have to use his past as a CIA agent and Air Force pilot to keep them both safe and thwart a terrorist, while also finding Bethany mending his broken heart and his attraction to her growing stronger.
This is an entertaining and nicely written story. The characters are lovely and you just find yourself cheering for them to get their perfect HEA.

This is Logan and Bethany's story and it's one that will grab your heart. Hers was broken by a cheating boyfriend and Logan was still mourning his friends death. Fate brought them together on a snowy mountain The attraction was there as were the scars. The book is emotional but a good read. The chemistry between Logan and Bethany is explosive. Bethany has her life mapped out. She will be graduating from school next year, she is expecting her longtime boyfriend to propose and now she is home to spend Christmas with her family and her best friends. However, instead, Bethany finds her boyfriend with another woman. Her two best friends decide she will not sit at home and mope over the holidays so they take her to a ski resort for some girl time. Logan is a former Air Force pilot and CIA agent. He has moved to a cabin in the mountains to try and put his life back together after losing his best friend on a mission that went sideways. When the two get trapped in his cabin due to a snow storm and have international terrorists chasing them, things get dicey.
This is a wonderful action packed book about loss, love, finding oneself and living again. I love Bethany's character. Although her life seems to be falling apart, she doesn't let it get the best of her. She picks herself up and decides to have some fun. This book brings us Bethany and Logan. Bethany thinks she is going to be asked to marry her boyfriend Winston on Christmas. She is eagerly anticipating this, but when Winston doesn't show up at her parent's party, she is worried something happened, and she finds him with someone else. Devastated, her friends decide to take her skiing to get away, which she agrees to do. This is where she meets up with Logan, a loner, former Air Force Pilot, who now takes people on short plane rides. There is something about Bethany that Logan hasn't felt before, but he is not interested in any kind of relationship. He lost his best friend and hates Christmas, but he will take Bethany and her friends up on his plane. However, Bethany is very strong willed and wants to ski on a dangerous slope, even though Logan says not to. Of course, she doesn't listen and ends up getting hurt, and if it wasn't for Logan worrying about her, she would probably have died. This was a good read and I do recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Expecting a proposal for Christmas, Bethany instead walked in on her boyfriend with another woman. So she took off with friends to a Utah resort to get far away. It was there that she met Logan, a man still mourning the loss of his friend and wanting only to be left alone. Logan was older than Bethany, former CIA, former Air Force Pilot, and gave off bad boy vibes. Bethany was definitely drawn to him! But when danger comes around Logan in the form of a terrorist, will he be able to keep Bethany safe? Will she be able to get through the protection he has pulled around his heart so that both of them can begin to heal?
This was a good story putting two people together who were dealing with their own pain and needed to find a way through it. Circumstances provided them what they needed to find each other. Would they take advantage of the opportunity? Would they find a HEA at the other end of their ordeal?

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, ups, downs, drama, intrigue, and suspense the good kind that makes you turn the page until there are no more to turn. Bethany is having a rough go at it after she walked in on her boyfriend with another women after she thought he was going to propose to her. So, she runs on a vacation with her girls to Utah where she meets Logan a much older and sexy man with an impressive resume of retired CIA and Air Force Pilot. The attraction is there for them both however, when danger comes knocking on his door will he be able to protect Bethany and will she be able to break through the walls he built around heart thus healing them both. Just maybe they will find a path to happiness.

Putting a socialite and an ex Air Force pilot-CIA agent together and you would think it couldn't work. When the socialite is an independent woman with a mind of her own and knows just what she wants. She wants the dreamy man she met that took her and her friends on a tour of the Utah mountains in his plane. He is sullen and testy, not what you would think you would want but a girl knows what she want s and goes after it. Being a virgin wouldn't stop her from getting what she wants. Can it ever work? He's bossy about everything in bed and out. Will she listen as her tells her not to extreme ski? Read the book and get all of the answers. I would recommend this book. It's an easy read and has great characters, family, friends and action that they don't want.

Miley is one of my go to authors and she never disappoints. She brings us a strong storyline with great characters who are both trying to overcome heartaches, but of a different type. Bethany is expecting a proposal from her boy friend of 5 years only to walk in on him cheating. Her friends decide to take her away skiing and this is where she meets Logan. Logan is trying to escape from the heartache of losing those he was really close to and decides to buy a cabin in the woods in hopes of being left alone only life throws him a small curve ball. Logan and Bethany meet and the connection is instant. No more info just read this book it is well worth your time. Plenty of action, drama and some suspense along with lots of chemistry between Logan and Bethany.

I enjoyed Bethany’s bravery and Logan’s dominant tendencies. This combo makes for a compelling, steamy and spirited couple.
The plot is also interesting as it combines Bethany’s adventurous exploits and Logan’s past in a thrilling collision course.

This is a stand alone book set around Christmas time. Bethany is a college student who walks in on her boyfriend of 5 years cheating on her. Bethany's friends wisk her off to an ski resort to help get over her breakup. Logan is an ex CIA agent whose world fell apart when a mission cost him everything. Logan buys an cabin off the grid to get lay low. Logan is hired as a pilot to fly Bethany and her friends and over hears them talking about skiing an dangerous part of the mountain. When Bethany is injured skiing Logan offers to talk care of her when she cannot return home as planned for Christmas with her friends. Logan and Bethany are attracted to each other but Logan past is catching up to him and puts Bethany in danger. This was over all a quick read.

Stranded was a fantastic, sexy, and intriguing story with a nice amount of action. Logan was a growling grumpy mountain man on the outside but on the inside he was truly a sweet and thoughtful romantic. Normally I would never read an older man younger woman with that big of an age gap. I find those stories dirty old man creepy but this one didn’t give me those feelings. Bethany for the most part was mature as well as wise to be 22 years old. Her and Logan just fit. My only complaint was that Bethany’s ex scumbag boyfriend was mentioned to many times. He was throughout the whole story all the time. It wasn’t big enough to take away from the story so no big deal. I’ve read several of Miley’s books and Stranded is my favorite. Bethany and Logan both have painful backstories that make them wary but hopeful. She ends up in the mountains, trying to distance herself from a cheating boyfriend at holiday time, meeting Logan, who lives there now that he is retired from the military and the CIA. When she gets into trouble on the mountain, he is the one to reach her and then the changes in them begin. The characters are complex, with all the emotions and feelings of past, present and future in their souls. The storyline is a roller coaster of drama, danger, surprises, weather, steam and more. Loved their chemistry and banter as they head into a relationship that starts to heal them both. Great ending.

Bethany thinks she is getting a proposal but instead she finds her boyfriend in bed with someone else. She runs and ends up being rescued by Logan in a snow storm and they spend Christmas together. The characters were wonderful they each had their own issues but who does not? The story flowed really well and was certainly entertaining. I love books that I come away going wow and this is one of those books.

Another wonderful book by Miley Maine! I loved everything about this story! Bethany needs to get away after an unfortunate encounter with her boyfriend. She ends up in the mountains where she meets Logan. Logan is ex-intelligence and wants to hide from the world. After a skiing accident has Logan taking care of Bethany their connection can’t be denied. There is also action and suspense when someone from Logan’s past comes back. Also I can’t forget the seriously steamy scenes in this book!!

We all need the heat this winter (although I am in the Caribbean), and this boxed set provided just the right amount of heat and heart.
Again, this is a new-to-me author, that I tried on a whim and I was not disappointed.
Each novel in this set featured a stubborn Alpha male, sworn off on commitment until their sassy female counterpart brought them to their knees. Enjoy each novel, they are worth the investment.

Well, it had a plot. The book was riddled with typos to the point of pain. It was difficult at times to even know which character was speaking. The sex scenes were awkwardly clinical and not the least bit sensual. The plot, what there was of one, was filled with cliches and predictable encounters, but little depth. Sadly, I can not recommend this book and I have zero interest in trading anything else by this author. Always a shame as I do admire writers who put themselves out there, this one needs a good honest beta reader and proofreader.

Bethany, smart, very well spoken, knows what she want and beautiful. What she doesn’t want, to see her boyfriend in the bed with other woman at the time she expected proposal. She loves Christmas.
Logan, he hates Christmas , his last Christmas was disaster, during failed mission he lost best friend and his wife. This is the reason he hides in the Mountains.
Chemistry between them is scorching .
Great romance with a lot of action, drama and emotions. Love it!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Bethany and Logan both have baggage ruling their actions and lives. They are opposites that complete each other. Some time alone together makes them see that they could have something more. If they can get thru the roadblocks of their past, they can have a happy future together they both deserve.

This was a great story, Bethany and Logan seemed to be so far apart as people until you start to peel back the layers of the sexy mountain man. The adventure they go through to become so close is epic and easily one of the best action romances I have read in a long while. These two start on an icy slope and careen through a terrible encounter, but come out stronger and more in love. This holiday love story did not disappoint!

I really enjoyed this book. Bethany loves Christmas and can’t wait for this Christmas in particular as she thinks her boyfriend of 7 years is going to propose however she gets a nasty surprise instead. Her best friends whisk her away for a weekend where she meets Logan, an older man, an older sum what grumpy man with secrets and danger but she’s drawn to him and he to her. You have to give this book a read to see what happens!!
