Welcome to 2054. For 99% of the 9.9 billion, climate change, forced migration, workforce automation, failing infrastructure, and overburdened social services make for a harsh day-to-day existence. Instead people find their refuge in the HYPER SCAPE: a one-of-a-kind virtual landscape run by the world’s greatest megacorp, Prisma Dimensions. It is used to access games, shopping, social communities, interactive experiences, and more.

The HYPER SCAPE is the newest frontier, a virtual gold rush of a new age…

Currently free to buy on Amazon this 4 part series continues with Simon Jepsen in a coma and hidden away in the Prisma Dimensions labs. When his sister manages to find him she is allowed to briefly visit him. Soon afterwards she receives a holo-message from her brother which contains nothing but crowns. Can she, with the help of an investigative journalist, find out the truth and save her brother?

These comics might be short but the story moves along quickly and seamlessly. It'll be interesting how much more is revealed as they tie in with an upcoming game to be released by Ubisoft. It seems the story ends here and I wonder if it is where the game will begin.

Connected to a videogame franchise.

Good color artwork. This would be easier to review if it was 32 pages. A virtual reality is going wrong. A pretty standard story, which may contain some spoilers.
