Zaem Rasya
Pada Rasya, cinta Datuk Zulkarnain kepada ibu saudaranya hanya berlandaskan hawa nafsu semata-mata. Apatah lagi lelaki itu sudah pun mempunyai tiga isteri. Demi mencari bukti telahannya adalah benar, Rasya bertindak ‘masuk’ ke dalam mahligai lelaki itu sebagai pengurus rumah.

Idk tapi I macam kurang nak rasa chemistry antara Zaem & Rasya. And agak turn off dengan perangai Rasya yang terlalu judgemental. Overall, an okay read, santai santai.

1st time baca tulisan writter ni. Beli pon kononnya dah tak ada buku yg menarik di popular. Dan yess! Ianya tak sia2. Kisah yg santai namun mampu membuatkan saya terus membaca tanpa henti. Tahniah Shiroe. Saya rasa slps ini saya akan mencari buku2 anda yang lain😍.
Kisah ini mengenai Rasya yg terlalu ingin mengambil tahu ttg kehidupan Datuk
Zulkarnain bersama dgn ketiga2 org isterinya. Ini kerana dia tidak mahu mak usunya terjebak menjadi yg keempat. Namun penceritaan lebih menjurus kpd kehidupan Datuk bersama dgn isteri pertamanya.
Kerana rasa ingin tahu yg menebal, Rasya terjebak dgn anak majikannya sendiri iaitu Zaem. Walaupon Zaem yg asalnya keras mcm batu, tetapi bila hari2 hidupnya dipertemukan dgn Rasya hati yg beku terpaut jua. Namun setelah rahsia kedatangan Rasya ke rumah Datuk terbongkar, Zaem rasa ditipu lantas dia meminta agar Rasya tidak lagi berada di depan matanya.
Hidup Rasya walaupon nampak gembira dan bahagia, tetapi dia sendiri tidak berani utk bermain cinta kerana asal usul keluarganya. Hidupnya sering dihina. Kerana itulah dia berusaha utk tidak bercinta. Namun kerana degilnya seorang Zaem, Rasya sudi juga menerima Zaem tanpa syarat.
Apa yg ingin disampaikan oleh Shiroe Sherry sebenarnya simple. Dia mahu membuka mata masyarakat di luar sana ttg penerimaan masyarakat sekeliling ttg isu ank tidak sah taraf. Anak itu suci dan bersih. Namun kenapa mesti kita memandang hina sedangkan diri kita belum terbukti lg suci di mata Tuhan!

First foremost, another brilliant story from Shiroe Sherry! It's heartwrenching and hilarious all at the same time, it's just a fantastical read — This book is about a 29 year old Rasya, where she went to work with the family of Datuk Zulkarnain as a house manager, in order to investigate about him and his poligamous family, where she did it in order to ensure her aunt's happiness before marrying into the household. There, she was surrounded with such a lovely family, as well as workmates. At the same time, she met a 35 year old Tuan Zaem, Datuk's youngest son.
Along her time working there, she unwillingly and incidentally kept on getting herself involved with Zaem's very personal matters. Due that, Zaem tormented her along her time there, but she simply went along with it, then because if that, he started to change and showed his interest towards her, yet she keeps on avoiding it. Little did he know, she has her own reason and 'big' secret not to get herself involved with Zaem and concealed her own feelings.
Just before she wanted to confess the truth about her reasoning to work there and gave her sincere blessings with her aunt's choice, the truth revealed itself, and things turned an awful way, as well as with her relationship with Zaem. — She brought herself away from everyone, but there's one thing that he still doesn't know, why she kept on rejecting Zaem, and why she initially was so overprotective towards her aunt.
• AAA again, I genuinely love and adore this work from the author. It's a tragedy and romcom type of genre. I could say it's the he fell first trope, and mixed with confusion and ego on the side.
The story started off quite lighthearted, the fun and lovely relationship with the employers and Rasya's co-workers, and the constant banters and bickers with Tuan Zaem together with Rasya's dumb little misunderstanding was absolutely entertaining and hilarious all over! And I literally gasped out loud over second hand embarrassment over melencong their thoughts were from time to time.
The later half though, where it involves on Rasya's secret, it was just heavy. The point of the plot where 'badai melanda', I believe I cried my eyes non-stop along the chapters until the end. Since the writing was in first person pov, you could absolutely see Rasya's feelings, he most inner thoughts, and what she went through. My heart breaks, quite bad together with her. The author's writing on about feelings, and when touched on the heavy topics, incident, and the aftermath and trauma one has faced was sooo well done and well written. Since we mainly on Rasya's pov, we doesn't know much of how far Zaem's feelings were towards Rasya and her situation, but as we dived into his pov, I could reaaaly feel how genuine, how caring, and how worry he was about Rasya. Apart from all of those, I just wanted to mention that 'That' scene on the climax will surely stuck inside my head and heart for a very long time over how painful it was, the emotions shows and their conversation, I simply had no words over how great it was.
• Regarding characteristics, Rasya's snarkiness, yet extremely 'polos' and oblivious personality, mixed with Tuan Zaem's hard headed, pemaksa, and egoistic (and dumbly in love) was amusing and enjoyable to read through.
Let me just say that, Zaem's personality do get onto my nerve multiple times, especially the office part, that really shows how unbothered and strong Rasya was as a character (although she's still scared, but I personally would've cried myself off if someone was being frustrating like that!). In contrast with her personal issues and her trauma, I personally do adore her through and through and I just love it how she never backs down. Another note I wanted to mention, despite how her 'secret' was, I really do appreciate how it wasn't make as her 'personality', she really is such a though person. Yes she did showed her anxiousness, combative, and overprotectiveness from time to time before we actually understands what's hidden, but was only up to that point where something and someone triggers it that it only started showing heavily. It's realistic, and at some point I really just wanted to give her a hug.
While on the other side, Zaem's foolishness over dumb matters, his annoyance, and how awful his words were from time to time (and his infuriating words during the reveal), I could honestly slap him you know. Tapi, the end end end part though, it was sooo heart touching, his change of behaviour, his in depth understanding, his remorse, I'd give the man pats on his back instead. Such an amazing character development I'd say. Really responsible take as well after everything that he has done and said. It was clear how awful he acted before towards Rasya, and I appreciate how it wasn't romanticised at all. Rasya's confrontation really put him back in his shoes too, and how he himself owned up to it and admitted what he did was wrong, I myself can feel how sincere it was.
• I've mentioned this before on the author's other work (Secret Love), that her usage of romantic comedy elements was so brilliant and smart. It was simply genuinely hilarious! It's mainly due to how unexpected the characters' conversation turned that we will always be taken aback over their amusing conversations!
• Yes, this book do have a lot of characters, tapi, all of them are equally important and balanced with the story. They really did menjadi penyeri cerita, especially the workers at Datuk's house. Kamalia, as a character pun, I just wanted to hug her for being such a great friend towards Rasya, their friendship was so personal, I cried a lot.
• Plot wise, everything was well arranged, the reveals and the climax, as well as the conclusion, it was just sooo great through and through. This book probably have one of the most satisfying ending I've ever read, it's just perfect and just 'enough'.
• Yes, in contrast to Secret Love (which I truly enjoyed before), this one is a mixture of both light-heartedness and serious issues, and I can say that this it really works well. Simply adore this book. Would easily become my top reads. I've mentioned this before on the other review, but once more, the Shiroe Sherry's romcom really is what an actual 'romcom' really is.
Nothing much, just a highly recommended read. Lots of laughs and tears, you wouldn't want to read it in public because you will genuinely either laughed out loud or cried a river, there's no in between.

Best! Puas hati baca novel yang buat saya tersenyum.
Character Zaem and Rasya ni selalu mengundang rasa kelakar. Ada je la diaorg berdua ni kalau berdebat.
Kisah Rasya yang bekerja di rumah bakal suami maksu sebab nak tahu kehidupan.
Lain pulak yang dia sangka. Baik pulak family Dato and Datin.
Bila Zaem dah jatuh cinta pada Rasya, nak berterus terang.. maksu tahu terlebih dahulu.
Zaem marah.. marah sangat² sampai Rasya bawa diri.
Korang bacalah nanti

Disebabkan maksunya ingin mengahwini seorang lelaki berpangkat Datuk, yang sudah pun mempunyai 3 orang isteri, Rasya nekad untuk masuk dalam keluarga Datuk Zulkarnain untuk menyiasat kelakuan buruk Datuk dan sekaligus menggagalkan rancangan perkahwinan maksunya.

Dalam rumah tu, Rasya bekerja sebagai pengurus rumah, ala-ala kdrama tu. Dia kena uruskan 15 orang pekerja, kalau ada mana-mana kesalahan, dia yang akan dicari oleh bos.

Dalam rumah tu, dia berkenalan dengan Datuk Zulkarnain yang baik dan berkarisma. No wonder la ramai perempuan terpikat. Datin Rozita, isteri pertama Datuk, juga seorang yang baik dan lembut. Dan ketiga, bos kecil, Tuan Zaem, yang digelar sebagai Lord Vader.

Aku suka Zaem dengan Rasya ni. Mulanya Zaem ugut nak pecat Rasya sebab dia dengar Rasya kutuk dia. Tapi, Rasya berjaya ugut semula Zaem sebab dia dengar yang Zaem cakap dia gay kepada Natasya, perempuan yang sukakan Zaem. Tapi, Zaem bukannya gay. So, Rasya ugut nak bocorkan rahsia yang Zaem bukan gay kepada Natasya. Sejak itu, ada je benda yang Zaem selalu cari pasal dengan Rasya.

Sehinggalah Zaem sedar yang dia sukakan Rasya. Masa ni, dia cemburu tengok Rasya dengan Mikael, drivernya. hahahha..kelakar weh. Masa tu, dorang tengah masak kat dapur ramai-ramai. Nampak je Mikael suapkan Rasya makanan, terus Zaem campak penutup periuk dalam sinki, lepas tu, cawan pun dia jatuhkan atas lantai. Dan yang kena bersihkan ialah Mikael.

Dan yang lagi kelakar, Rasya ingatkan Zaem ni memang betul-betul gay. Rasya ingatkan Zaem cemburukan Mikael. hahaha..dia siap bagi Mikael pepper spray masa Mikael berduaan dengan Zaem. bongok gila.

Lepas tu, ada je moment sedih.

p/s: by the way, aku suka komen Kamalia masa Rasya marah bila maksunya memilih lelaki yang sudah beristeri tiga. Katanya, perempuan, bila dah usia 40an, dah tak memilih sangat dah. Bila jumpa lelaki yang baik, yang sudi bahagiakan dia, walaupun perlu berkongsi, pun perempuan tu sudah cukup bahagia. (tapi dalam kes ni, lelaki tu memang baik la. dan berkemampuan)

Rasya Alia, curiga dengan maksunya yang ingin memilih Dato' Zulkarnain sebagai suami nekad untuk menjadi pengurus rumah di rumah besar itu. Punyaa curiga sebab dato' dah ada 3 orang bini, kenapa masih nak kenal dengan maksunya.

Bila dh strt bca..x bleh nk berhenti dah...lnsng x skip page pun sbb sntsa nk tahu apa jadi lpas tu...sgt recomended nvel pnlis ni dan karya2 dia yg sblmnya...Zaem yg ego dan stok dinding limited edition tu mmg gram sgt rangai dia yg xnk mngaku dh syok ngn Rasya...tpi bila ada lelaki lain nk dkat dgn Rasya...cmbru dia lain macam...abis periuk belanga smua berbnyi...🤣🤣🤣..kesian mikhail...haha

Scene sdih bila dia pushed away Rasya dri hdup dia sbb slah sngka dgn Rasya smpi Rasya pergi bwa diri...tpi bila dh sdar dia silap...dia cri blik mcm org gila...tpi x jmpa...then tnpa sngaja plak terjmpa kat resort kpnyaan abang Zaem..msa ni la scene yg paaaaaling buat jntung ku berdgup 10 kali gnda...aksi Zaem sgt2 sweet dlam memujuk Rasya...maigadssssss...❣️❣️❣️..nak tahu apa Zaem buat?...kna la bca nvel ni...mmg kompem berbaloi2...🥰🥰🥰

Hero dan heroin yg mantap . Dua2 berjiwa besar...sedih dekat part last buku ni, mencengkam jiwa...bila status anak luar nikah dijadikan bahan mengaibkan dan merendahkan maruah orang...huhu
Anyway, good job write..ur book on Secret Love pun ok jugak, but this is I think is more matured, more developed, lots of goodness that the writer try to bring through the real Islamic polygamy...but in reality, mcm susah nk jumpa, but mmg wujud poligami yg berjaya mcm ni menghasilkan umat Nabi yg berjaya...

Cerita psl rasya yg sangup kerja as pengurus rumah demi nak tau siapa dato yg nak kahwin dgn maksu die ni…ye la..nak jadikan bini ke 4 kot…klu aku pon mcm sesuatu sgt kan… ditakdirkan dlm umah tu ade anak dato yg umur dah 35 tp tak kahwin lagi… dark vader katenye..muka payah nak senyum…
Suka la dgn penceritaan die…incident2 diorg jumpa dlm unexpectation situation…smp blh pk tuan zaem ni betul gay la..lawak la yg tu… di akhir cerita tu mcm sedih skit..siannya la hai nasib anak sah tak taraf kan.. but it end well…

Mmg tgh cari novel santai dan bila baca reviews, semua tulis best. Betul sgt2. Cool bila Datuk Zulkarnain sama2 masak kat dapur utk cucu2. Yg lucu Tuan Zaem mengamuk kat dapur jugak. Tuan Zaem yg beku berjumpa dgn Rasya si kaki menjawab ajer. Haha. Bab touching bila Rasya & Kamalia menyentuh isu anak tak sah taraf. Dlm novel ni mungkin ada baiknya Rasya tak hadir di depan ibu kandungnya. Biarlah ia menjadi rahsia tak mengaibkan Rasya & ibunya. Lagi pun mereka bahagia dgn kehidupan masing2.
