A small collection of remembrances of folks from around Venice and south Sarasota County. There are some nifty little tales here. Most written very well. Most written better than most contemporary books written for the mass market today.
I just wish there was far, far more. I sure understand that, at the time of the production of this volume, the cost factor of making a more extensive book and being able to afford production. This is something that Amazon has helped enormously letting so many place a volume for free of however many pages at no cost. I don't know if the group still exists, but wish they would greatly expand this using the Amazon publishing method. i'd be first in line to nab a copy.
Bottom line: i recommend this book. 8 out of 10 points.
