I absolutely adored the final book in this series, and I’m going to miss these characters so much. I loved Althea’s growth and was so happy to see her come into her own and thrive. I think so many of us can see ourselves in her struggles with insecurity and self-worth. #TeamTraceAlways

This is the final book in the series and the perfect conclusion! Much drama ensues when a rival group of women dabble in things they are not knowledgeable about unleashing chaos, but the Althea and the ladies jump in to attempt to control and clean up the mess as always. Althea learns a lot about herself in this book. In fact, one of the things that I love about the series is that Althea grows a bit in each book and shows very well that life just isn't perfect! Hold onto your hat if you've been listening to this series as this book is a doozy and leaves everyone in the perfect for them place! I love when an author concludes a series in a manner that leaves a sliver of hope that more may be seen from one or more of the characters somewhere down the line, but if not things are in a good place to leave the reader happy.

I read the entire Althea Rose series and I have to say that book 8 was my favorite. The entire series was enjoyable with my only complaint being Althea’s inability to learn from her mistakes. The end of book 7 left me really agitated.

Book 8 was the turn around in Althea that I wanted see. She “grew up”, started taking her powers seriously, stopped running from what was, arguably, a great relationship and was grounded by the appearance of her parents.

Thank you to Tricia for wrapping up the Althea Rose series on a wonderful note. I found myself smiling while also being a bit wistful on the last page.

Tricia is a fantastic story teller. I have read several of her series. I am a very loyal reader when I find an author that I enjoy. If you haven’t read her other series, branch out. You’ll be glad you did.

Fun read

Nicely written. The only part I didn't care for was the name they gave themselves. I think there are much better names out there. I know I'll get comments about that. But it's my opinion.

I enjoyed that part where the water was magical. I could honestly picture it being done. Althea seems a little scatter brained for her age. This is when I question if the author isn't really a man. Why would you want your main female character act scattered brain or walk around with a picture of ovaries on her shirt?

Anyway, I still enjoyed reading this series. I enjoy the diving parts, the bat scene, and the interaction with playing with the dog. Having a dog I know this is how all of them act. Joy, love, high energy, and eating.

There is no mention, or I don't recall mention of Luna's family. Mother? Father? Siblings? I can easily picture Luna and her beauty. It shines through because she is beautiful inside as well.

Althea father is super cool! He's a great character to this book. I've known people like him. And her mother reminds me of my own mother.

Extraordinarily entertaining Paranormal women’s fiction series.

This was an extraordinary and entertaining Paranormal women’s fiction series. And awesome cast of characters with a unique and fun and entertaining storyline. I’ll see a rose was happy just being a psychic and running a small magic/Terrell shop with her friend Luna who is a white witch. Althea like giving readings to her clients and going diving once a twice a week and taking photos and just living her life. Over the eight books in the Series, she begins to learn that she is more than just a psychic. She also has magical powers that she did not know about. As time goes by she begins learning and expanding those powers bit by bit. With the help of her friends Luna and Ms Alva the voodoo queen and other friends as well as a few ghosts. She stops criminals and other magical misfits from causing problems in their corner of the world. Read on as this is the final book in the series and see what happens.

So so gooooood!!! Finally Althea grew up! Well, I guess more like she quit whining about having to learn her magick and she finally embraced it. She made a new discovery about herself regarding her magick. She also discovered something about love with not only herself, but with others around her.

This entire series has been a ride and it has been about growth in mind, body, spirit, and - of course - maaagick. And about learning to be true to herself.

The end of this series wrap was a perfect one. As I read through this last book I became more and more sad and then disappointed that this journey would be over for not only the characters in this book, but for me as well; however, once I actually finished this read, I felt satisfied and felt that it came to a natural ending that left me NOT needing more. That’s the kind of series I like!

Bravo, Tricia!! I’ll definitely be looking to read more of your books soon!

Eight Ways to Tequila. Althea, Luna and Miss Elva have barely dispensed the zombies (Seven Deadly Tequilas) when a star sapphire necklace Miss Elva is attempting to purchase online is stolen right in front of the camera! Miss Elva, still distressed over the disappearance of her besotted ghost, Rafe, from another of Althea’s not quite right spells, is determined to retrieve the jewel she claims rightfully belongs to her. Thus another situation in need of magick is revealed. Althea’s mother joins the group in this adventure , and also helps her daughter to more fully explore and embrace her powers. Tricia O’Malley has written a fast paced conclusion to this series that should delight her fans. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. Most highly recommend.

Star sapphires, magicks, cleaning up messes and dealing with relationships what a way to start the end of a series. Miss Elva is mad as a hornet when "her" necklace is stolen during a live bidding show. Her necklace is the Star Sapphire that is sought by those "playing" at magic. Can Althea, Luna, Elva and Abigail (Althea's mother) find who stole the necklace before they use it in a ritual? What about the spirit of Rafe? The O.G girls have it handled.
Althea needs to make several life changing decisions about her magick, her shop, and most importantly her love life. Her father gives some deep heart lessons that shocks Althea to the core but in her heart she knows he is right.
The entire series have had me laughing, crying, yelling and sighing. I don't want it to end...........

OG!!

Never ceasing to amaze ! All of the emotions, all of their fears, friendships, love, and surprises, and more... Their stories left me with wanting more! So many conflicts, and resolutions to be had in this story of people who are humans with gifts and powers that take them through some life lessons and real friendships. Tricia O'Malley is multifaceted in her contagious story. She crafted this book series in a way that is relatable and honest. The comic reliefs written into the conflicts keeps the reader hooked! The OG GANG brings a whole other perspective of girlfriends...Sisters. And, they included their significant others into their realms of happiness, stressing honest communications. Now...lead me to more of O'Malley's writings!!

Best book in the series !

Be ready to laugh out loud a lot !!!!🤣🤣🤣
I loved this book, a great way to end the series . I am still very sad to see that it is ending . I hope that maybe there will be a spin off with Abigail .
I loved the OG . This book showed how friendships and bonds play a huge part in life and it flowed so nicely with the magic . This book really brings the characters to life with such personalities. There are so many great scenes in this book I can not pick just one . The golf cart going down the street has to be one of them !!!! The Sprite in the Ednas store is great to !!! This book is definitely a must read .

The Althea Rose series (aka: the Tequila Keys books) are a hoot! Flawed, lovable and funny characters populate Tequila Key and at the center is Althea. Witch, photographer, friend - and someone you want to hang out with. Enjoy her friends, family, dog and all the shenanigans they get into. More importantly, love how they work together to solve the magickal (and sometimes non-magickal) problems that result. Looking to binge on something fun this summer (or even better, when the snow is flying)? Make yourself a margarita and kick back with this whole stack of books. They truly are magickal!

This series has everything you need to forget the world for a while

I loved everything about this series. The characters are introduced with perfect timing. The ongoing and the new.
The adventures they get into are funny and serious at the same time.
With many series ,I get bored after the 4 th or 5 th. This did not happen here.
I watched the people grow and change with perfect timing.
The last one wrapped everything up just right.
Thank you for a great read.
Now on to more of Tricia O'Malley books.

I am saddened that this was the final Althea Rose Mystery. One of the most entertaining reads and I'm invested in their lives and antics. Too many characters to pick my favorite but if I HAD to, it would be Miss Elva and Rafe. A reader will be truly caught up in all their crazy adventures and I will miss reading about them. Tricia O'Malley is a premier story teller and I think I have read every one of her books in the last couple of months. Yes, once I'm in the book, it's hard to put down, especially when I can't see, with tired eyes, the pages but still want to know what is next.

such an Awesome Series!!!

I have been binging all things Tricia O’Malley since I stumbled on one of her books. I’ve read every single book she has published. She pulled me away from another series I had followed for years. I can’t wait for her next book. I am saddened to not have another of her series to sit down and gobble up. Thank you so much, Ms. O’Malley, for all the lovely stories you’ve woven so masterfully! Every. Single. Book, has been a page turner and so difficult to put down. I am forever grateful for the magic you weave!

I must confess I feel a bit sad after finishing this book as I know it is the last one in this fun series. But, looking at how it ended, I can see it is the perfect ending to a perfect series. I’ll be missing Althea even if she whined a lot… Luna and miss Elva… every single character in these books (well… not the nasties!) I will look forward to reading other books by this author. Luckily there are quite a few to chose from!!

Last Call at Lucky's Tiki Bar...
This is the 8th and last installment of the Althea Rose series. I have absolutely enjoyed this series so much, and this book was the perfect send-off. I loved everything about this book, and I laughed out loud more than once! Find out what Althea and the gals are up to now, and enjoy! Bittersweet for us as readers, but there is always a sparkle of hope we'll see our Tequila Keys friends again someday.

Right Ways to Tequila

I feel in love with this series and it was the first of your novels on my self. Your storytelling has been captivating and addictive. I was glad starting late in read this series and several novels out. I went thru the first six in two months. However, your right in deciding the end was near and wrapping up on a creative note. Worthy read and good luck in your up coming endeavours.

Crazy, fun and fast read! You won't be sorry!

I loved this series! It was so fun and I looked forward to each new situation the OG ladies got themselves into. I'm very visual and all the characters came to life for me! I loved the ghosts and was routing for Trace to win over Althea. It was great to meet the parents. Very nice happy ending. I'm going to buy a caftan soon with sparkles on it!

Althea Rose book 8

I loved this one!! I had so much fun reading it! I really wish there were more stories of the gang, after book 9 which I'm going to read next. It's just such a fun series I feel like it could go on forever. Maybe a story about Althea having to use her magic while she's diving to save the day! Come on Tricia O'Malley I know you'd come up with a good one!! Please!! I'd really love it!!

Excellent series!

O'Malley has created another fantastically magical world to visit. It has all the fun, loving relationships, and quirky characters to keep you wanting more. And best of all the books all end in a satisfying way. These characters Ares great they show up in other series by her.
I highly recommend this author to readers who have a great sense of humor & A love of quirky magical people.

Surprised me a bit

Anyone enjoying the series so far will enjoy book 8, it has spices of new things and a pop at the end. I have no desire to read about Theodore running out of his house in his underwear any more times though ...the book carries the characters on with their lives seamlessly with a few new additions but if you happen to pick up this book and have not read the first 7 you can still join the fun.

Loved it!

I always love 'visiting' Tequila Key, but I have to say, this is my favorite so far. It has the snark, the sassiness and an awesome storyline. Of course, bad things happen, but fixing them is so much fun to read about. There's a lot of personal growth in this one too. It's my favorite so far and I'm looking forward to more books in this series.

Eight Ways to Tequila

This book is another masterpiece from Trish O’Malley. I am sad because it’s the last one in the series but maybe some more thoughtful pop up and we can find out what happens down the road which would be wonderful. Thank you again for a great read I enjoyed it so much. Can’t wait for another book

What can I say, the end to the “The Althea Rose” series with book eight was totally satisfying. I have been following this group of witches from the first book and the way it was all tied together in this last of the series was a great read. Thank you to Tricia O’Malley for a fun adventure. I look forward to the next group of characters you introduce.

Good read

Number 8 is a very good climax to a series. There is humor, loads of chaos from a sprite, no sex, but some romance, and loads of magic. In attempting to stop a fake witch, the fake brings through a very destructive sprite. The ladies give chase and win the day. Highly recommend.

The end

Another terrific story for Althea and company. I’m sad to see it end but I understand but also love knowing that if something pops up we might hear from them again. Everything I’ve read of Tricia O’Malley’s I have totally loved. Keep on writing your fabulous way! Thanks for always bringing a smile to my heart.

It all comes together

The OG's manage to broaden their world and in doing so, bring everyone together. We get to meet Althea 's parents, who decide to stay for awhile. Their gentle, loving influence adds a level of sanity to Althea's disorganized world and it all comes together in the end.

Fantastic Read

This series has brought me such great joy!. All the characters, the fun, the magick this book I cried at the end because of all the joy of the women standing by each other through thick and thin. If you haven't read this series your missing out on some great women and stories to make you laugh out loud. Tricia is a Rockstar!
