Ezekiel LeClerc had been sent on a mission by his Sire to track down the origin of problems plaguing the town of Keithville, Louisiana. It seemed as if the town’s mayor was enforcing unreasonable laws and taxes on its citizenry. Zeke had been sent to find the person or demon behind the scenes who was pulling the mayor’s strings and why. His Sire had one request, stay in touch. Zeke was doing just fine until he called his Sire to give him an update and heard the one woman’s voice he could not get out of his head. Her voice called to him. Everything about her made him want to devour her body and soul. Everywhere he looked, he compared every woman he saw and they were all falling short. This had never bothered him before. What was he to do? Janis Barry had been offered a job to teach children with unusual abilities. What she learned was that there were beings called Brethren who were created by a benevolent magician over a thousand years ago to save the innocent from Detruires. These evil beings came to earth through portals that had been opened by an evil sorcerer so he could make a deal with the Devil. She learned that every male member had been promised a mate. However, she knew the male Brethren she worked for were like brothers until one day she picks up the phone and hears the most sinfully sexy voice. A voice that stirs her passion and desire for only him. His name is Zeke. How was it possible that she could fall in love with someone by just talking to them? Luckily, Janis has an the Brethren give her an education on how to recognize a mate. Is this Zeke hers? Only time would tell.

D.F. Wilson has written another amazing book! As usual, you get the backstretch from Ezekiel (absolutely love that name). There were more side characters, and the romance between Ezekiel and Janis was more slow, then full force. I like how the author doesn't just completely forget about "old" characters once a shiny new one is presented for a book. They guys are a brotherhood after all.
Great book!

Magic, Fantasy, Romance and Motorcycle-riding Vampires. It can't get more exciting than that!!!

D. F. Wilson's novel 'Ezekiel' is Book 4 in the Sundown Motorcycle Club series. The author builds well defined worlds with established laws that extend into the magic system. Her descriptions are deep, playing on this reader's sentiment so that I became immersed in the drama.

Exciting Fantasy Fiction doesn't come along every day. When it does, you have to grab on and enjoy it. I hope the author keeps going with this series. I loved the characters and felt at home with them and the world of the Brethren. I heartily recommend this book.

And that’s all it takes—the sound of someone’s voice!
Book 4 of the Sundown Motorcycle Club is another fabulous read which tells the story of Ezekiel or Zeke as we come to know him and Janis who is a schoolteacher.
The relationships between Janis and Ezekiel builds at a rapid pace after they speak over the telephone, both of them knowing they belong together. Amongst the beautiful romance, the vampires are still trying to close the portals and rid the world of the Dentruires.
Again, like the rest of the stories before this one we are given the back story of each vampire before they were turned, which adds interest to the story.
‘Ezekiel’ is a thoroughly enjoyable read with wonderful characters, a well-developed storyline, lots of passion and family love as well as good versus evil. Highly recommended!

I LOVED Ezekiel and Janis's love story.
What sets it apart as special in this amazing series is the courtship they were allowed. I won't spoil the surprises, but this is a hot, instalove vampire Brethren series - and Zeke's relationship keeps those elements alive but still gives the reader a lovely build-up through the Courtship.

In any other series, I would not be excited about the addition of children as main side characters, but I love DF Wilson's take on this with the Brethren. The other special zing to this book, is the look we get at the other chapters of the Sundown Motorcycle Clubs in cities beyond Keithville. I am eager to read more about those men and their backstories as soon as they can be released.

As always, this series provides interesting, well-developed characters, in main and supporting roles, action, adventure, romance, love, mystery and twists.

I started reading Book #5 the moment I finished this one!

Action or Romance, you get both.

Ezekiel follows at first, the format of book three by giving a history of how he became Brethren, but this time it is through him remembering as he rides his Harley.

We know from the title that it's Zeke's turn to find his promised mate, but with him being away from the compound, on an investigation tour, the love dynamics are eked out somewhat. As with all the books in this series, there is a good versus evil element and a love story element, so, depending on your point of view and preference, this is either another romance story with a back story of fighting evil, or a vampires versus evil story with a love interest.

You choose.

One thing to weigh up as you're choosing, the love story is steamy hot throughout and the good versus evil story culminates in the last chapter.

Fourth book in the series did not disappoint. Zeke and Janis's story is different from the others as its a little more slow burn: the passion between them is just bubbling beneath the surface and then Bam! It's electrifying!

I am really enjoying how the author continues to weave in the previous characters and how their lives are progressing. Already bought the next book and can't wait to dive in.

Another great love story

Filled with so much passion, spark, romance. All from just a phone call at first. This series is made of true friendship, family, fairy tale love, action, mystery, and more. So glad it crossed my path.
